I finished Terra e last night lol. I could've swore I saw the last bit of it somewhere. I mean, how it ended, seemed so familiar though I can't remember every watching Terra e before :S Overall, liked the story. The show kills quite a bit of characters though which is something that I'm not a fan of lol: + Show Spoiler +the last bit, the whole they are now friends being born centuries later. I guess it's heartwarming but at the same time, it makes it feel like their sacrifice was a bit odd or I dunno, just not as relevant even though they did manage to take down SD and grandmother since they are alive 'again'.
Regardless, Carina and Yui dying was sad. Was pretty cool to see the kids enter a coma to grow faster and the anime seems to imply that Mu people procreating together will lead to stronger presentation of the Mu factor seeing as all the 7 kids were type Blue. I liked how we got some pretty cool battle scenes as well and the anime did show the difference in thought between the newer and older generation. I think the only thing that was missing is a love interest for Jomy and I disliked the fact that it seemed obvious that other Mu should be saved yet the newer generation only cared about themselves.
Furthermore, Solider Blue was awesome! lol. Much respect to someone who lived for so long and made such a profound difference in their future, same with Jomy even though he was undecided at times. I did feel that Jomy was a bit too lenient with Tony and his friends since it seemed they were a bit wild minded lol but I can also understand how he felt about being too stringent with them.
Other than that, Shiroe dying was also really sad since I was sure he would be rescued. Keith using Makka and Makka just helping him without caring for himself or his fellow Mu was a bit disheartening but I think he realized that Keith isn't all bad and I think it was the death of both Shiroe and Makka that led Keith to finally accept the fact that humans and Mu can live side by side. Finally, the whole experiment that was done, basically leaving the Mu factor in to see if they are the next evolutionary step was a bit out of the blue but does a good job of explaining why things were as they were.
This anime gets bigfan's approval! :D Let me know what you think once you watch it

If you focus on the story, then the animation doesn't become as bothersome and there are some pretty cool fights later on as well :D You haven't even gotten to the best part of the story yet! + Show Spoiler +

Well Bigfan, much like Nisekoi the best parts are father down the line then what the anime covered.

The best about Nisekoi is about nothing happening? What?

Please. They didn't even show the best Benisuzume scene.

On July 03 2014 06:12 Slaughter wrote: Why are you afraid of progressing if you are enjoying the series? Cynical that they will have shit endings? Nisekoi is pretty much following the manga to the letter so there isn't an anime only ending, the season just ends at a fair stopping point in the manga (at chapter 50 and they are at like 120ish right now). For Kill La Kill I would say that if you have liked it up till now then you should be fine with the rest of it. NGNL also stays awesome but the series is based off a source with a fair amount of content so there is much to still see unless they don't make more seasons.
Awww. No actually when I finish any series Im afraid of having nothing else left to watch. Its like having a cake and eating one. Before I finish something I want to have something fresh waiting for me ready under the play button (Im watchin stuff on my phone cus that way I can watch it anytime/anywhere) That's pretty much the catch - to have something as a backup before progressing - thats I was askin for charts/recs. :C

Watched a few episodes of Maria-sama ga Miteru and it seemed to have been received well on MAL and ANN. It reminds me a bit of Strawberry Panic. The story telling is nice and wikipedia had a chart will all the names and connections. The only thing it doesn't have compared to Strawberry Panic is a silver haired bishoujo.

It's 10x better than Strawberry Panic so it doesn't matter.
|
They're both pretty boring in anime form.
|
Marimite anime is pretty well paced. Better paced than novel actually since it took author like 30 vol to carry about same amount of material.
And.... don't compare it to Strawberry Panic please >.< they are not really same type of shows at all.

It's actually really impressive that Gokukoku still manages to become worse with each new chapter.

Finished the Endless Eight from S2, wasn't that bad except for the fact that
+ Show Spoiler +They never lifted a god damn finger to try to get out. They knew that Haruhi likely wanted to do something more but they never tried to go out and see what it was besides Kyon blurting it out after over 15k loops.

Asahina is useless and is meant to be useless. Nagato is to observe. Koizumi's group doesn't really care as long as Haruhi isn't agitated in the way that wrecks worlds. While none of them really want the situation, no one really has any reason or capability to act either.
The point is Haruhi might as well as be that only Kyon ever does anything.

Just watched Sidonia episode 7 all i can say is
+ Show Spoiler +Fuck Kunato...seriously omfg..I hope he gets tentacle raped in the ass until he dies that fucking piece of shit. Every line he has now my immediate response is to shout "FUCK YOU" at the screen It's super rare for me to loathe a character this much...I guess i'm really getting into this show even though it's mecha and i really dont like mecha too much. BUT i do love sci-fi and there's some awesome sci-fi in this story.

There are almost literally no good parts after what the anime covered.

Yea I am going to have to say I disagree heavily with that assertion.

That title makes me remember the green-haired girl in Star Driver who went on and on about kissing people through the glass.
Needless to say I'm disappointed it's not a sequel about her.
