Nobunaga ending felt rushed :S
So many anticlimatic deaths
So many wtf moments
Still an enjoyable serie

I put Nobunaga on hold after 10 eps because I lost motivation to keep up. Does it get better ( or at least not drop off too much) in the second half? Been mulling if I should continue or just drop it.

Too bad though, it could've went down as a strong ending if Haru died and the other ones that have 'died' in previous episodes actually died lol. Bokura: good ending. Sets it up for a season 2 since they only got so far. Just finished Akuma. I liked it, even with that ending, i found it enjoyable. One thing that really looooved about it was the different endings. And the songs for each ending lyrically and musically fit the personality of each assassin that was featured. That right there makes me raise my rating at least a point and a half. All in all i gave it 8-9 out of 10 (i'd like to reiterate that i'm extremely lenient with my ratings..and once y'all know me i'll stop harping on this ) + Show Spoiler +I completely agree that the ones who had died should have remained dead but w/e. I hear that's the cool new thing for anime's, bring back everybody that died b/c hey wtf why not. lol I hate saying it, i feel it's a little bit trite but my favorite assassin has to be Tokaku. Only b/c she's the most proficient in every method. I thought Haruki's reasons behind everything were the best/most seemingly life like but her method was pretty dumb. I think the best method was Shino's with the bomb around the neck, but she went and fucked it all up by being stupid and talking about her ex boyfriend...had she not mentioned that she would have won for sure. And it was a little hard for me to believe that the 2 most unsocial of the group Banba and Isuke were the only ones to actually (in some small way) work together, even if Isuke was really just using Banba.
It would be better had the one's that died remained dead, but i guess it can be construed as believable that they didn't die (only b/c they're assassins and after all that training and all the shit they've been through their whole lives it would take a whole hell of a lot to kill any of them). It's just, if they really want to story to have stronger meaning behind it, they wouldn't have done that IMO.
+ Show Spoiler + lol seems like it. Naruto has something like that though it's rarely used. Well, whichever you like is what you like lol. I think the poison one was my favourite. She lures someone into a false sense of security seeing as she's a kid then kills them leaving no trace (in comparison to some other assassination methods). Shino's was interesting as well but I think she couldn't help but talk about her lover. Can't blame her though, must be lonely to be that old yet retain your looks compared to those who you used to be with and they died. hmm fair point. Definitely hard to see Banba and Isuke work together but who knows what backroom deals took place asides from what we saw.
well, even if you are an assassin, your heart can't take a knife and be fine with it lol. Same with your body being strong against poison. I mean, you can resist but even with assassin training, you're only technically stronger physically and mentally but that doesn't mean you can survive that much longer against poison. Anyways, overanalyzing things lol. yes, I was already ok with them dying at that point but who knows why they changed it.
+ Show Spoiler + hahaha yeah you're right, the poison one seemed really ridiculous...plus she drank like that whole vial of it. but they already set the precedent that poison doesn't work very well with like that first or second episode when Isuke tried to poison Ichinose and it basically did nothing. And the dagger to Haru's heart in the end, they didn't even really have to use the "titanium" rib thing, i guess...b/c ya know, if you hit the rib and the knife glances off and misses the heart..that's what happens, even with bone ribs..but i guess they're like "oh shit, it's not like Azuma's gonna miss the heart, she's the best assassin of the group". And you're probably right that the little girl's poison is the most useful/best way of assassinating, but she like, didn't even use her poison gun in the stuffed animal to kill Haru, and then she was super obvious about poisoning the swords, i was a little disappointed with that part, sure it'd be a nice plan if it worked, but like...what's the chances of it actually working? After they SAW her next to the swords right after poisoning that other girl. If you're already on edge and super paranoid, something like that doesn't seem like it'd ever work to me Anyway, im deciding whether to watch Nanana, Mahouka, "fake" Dragonar (you're welcome lol), or date a live (which i'd have to start with season 1) + Show Spoiler + well, we can argue that Haru is a special exception to the poison rule or that not enough lethal poison was given. Also, Isuke isn't a poison expert like the little girl so who knows just how potent the poison was. Well, the dagger I meant for also the little girl scene in that Romeo and Juliet play. To me, they were both goners. One drank poison and the little girl was stabbed in the heart. In Haru's case, ya, titanium might deflect the blade enough so that she survives.
well, she used it on the other assassin but yes, not on Haru. I think her method is one of concealing her act. She chose to poison the swords knowing full well what the play was going to lead to (Haru dying in it as I recall). It was discovered that she was the one that poisons so naturally, they would check anywhere she's been (saw her near the swords, checked and found them poisoned). I think it would've worked had they not realized it was her that was doing the poisoning. Being paranoid can be its own disadvantage at the same time. You get overloaded, start to miss things etc...
I can only talk for Mahouka and Dragonar. If you want to see an OP character in a magic anime with some cute girls, then watch Mahouka. If you want to want some dragon anime that has a weird plot with odd un-needed ecchi, watch Dragonar lol. Are you considering other shows? Nagi no Asukara is one I would recommend just because I liked the story and the characters. Toradora is also not a bad watch for a first romcom, would recommend Asides from that, I would recommend you watch Nisekoi. It's an awesome watch and is pretty trollish but still great lol. The first season finished and though there is no news of a second season yet, I think we might get one eventually.
Well, I have a number of things i want to watch/currently watching. I've been kind of hesitant about posting my MAL here b/c it's like proof positive that i'm a major newb, but w/e here ya go http://myanimelist.net/animelist/eXeRyuhou Looking over it, i found it kind of funny how basically everything has a pretty good rating from me...it's kind of hard for me to say something was bad, as pretty much everything I've watched I've definitely enjoyed...Maybe I just really haven't come across something that i really really didn't like.
As for your recs, Toradora was already on my plan to watch, but i'll probably eventually check out the other ones as well, since as i feel it..."hey why not?"

You should probably ask BurningSera (I think?). Whenever he pops in it's always to gush about those series, haha. + Show Spoiler [Black Bullet 12] +I think the director or whoever needs to get a hint that just killing people off just because you can doesn't make your show cool and edgy. I mean maybe it was done better in the LN since I didn't read it but it seems like he kills off cat ears loli just so samurai loli can fit into the team? And the bodyguard has to be the most comically stupid antagonist.. Gastrea going to kill everybody but nope, gotta fuck up all humanity over your idiotic grudge against Rentaro. + Show Spoiler [Black Bullet] +Yeah that seemed weird to me too. Why would you screw over the guy you hate when you are also screwing over everyone else AND YOURSELF? Even if he gets away, it doesn't seem like it'd be that hard to see who had the delivery. + Show Spoiler +that part was definitely weird. I think he's just not thinking straight at this point, that idiot ><; I also wish the director doesn't just kill off members that fast either. There was no buildup, nothing. Only thing was her saying she'll be late going to the bathroom (BIG HINT THERE!) then she kills herself and guess no one heard the gunshots or anything like that? Still though, Midori, we barely knew you. I figured that the 4 main pairs will survive but other initiators/promoters will die. I was going to say why not just find a way to make aldebaran swallow the bomb instead of trying to blow a hole through it. Hope that no one else dies in the next episode

The message that "the world is fucked up and needs saving" should be a theme, not something that's shoved down our throats every second. The anime seems to sort of cut out a shit ton of stuff which would give off a sense of the world being fucked up in favor of grabbing a megaphone and saying that it's fucked.

Contrary to popular opinion, people in this thread on average like a lot of anime a lot more than you think they do.

@Slaughter : I don't regret watching it. The show had its moments, and for them, it was worth watching until the end. Sadly, it doesn't get a great ending (IMO)
If all else fails, at least, the music + Animation are good throughout the show!
Latest episode of BB : The show still has some issue with its story/pacing
