wonder when that guy from third high shows up. Hopefully soon since I would like to see some showdown with Tatsuya or at least an analysis of each other lol. Good episode overall though. Here's to more competition in the next episode! :D

damn it. I was hoping for god himself to descent down from the heavens to take over something and instead he's just sitting there finetuning those CADs ![]() Still a better episode than last week imo

So I finished this a little bit ago, around a week or so. Man it was really enjoyable to watch and I watched like 3 episodes at a time. I think I remember someone mentioning that they crammed so much material into this 13 episodes and I can really see it. They don't really go deep into explanations and just go along with everything following the idea of getting back Horizon's emotions. I thought that it would end the story at S2 man was I wrong. They only have like 2 and there are like 5ish left. Even in the last episode there were at least 5 cameos of characters to come. One which looks like Nate's mom(?) because dat drill hair. I like how they had went a little bit into the disaster that destroyed the world. There's still some mystery to it and that what makes it intriguing. Predicting at least 2-3 more seasons to come. I can tell that each character has their own back story and stories and only if the story permits they are able to expand on it, Tenzo and Neshinbara comes to mind. I bet the books do a good job of doing this. Although Tori and Horizon are the main characters the others' stories together help achieve the main goal of obtaining the Mortal Sin weapons. I was really hoping Tenzo would have an epic battle because it was basically his story going for Mary. I mean who wouldn't go for Yui Horie. I don't know if I missed it but I wish they explained who Azuma was and how he plays a role in the story. I literally thought he was Masazumi for 5 episodes. Overall great animation, awesome fights with amazing music and good story from what I understood. Here's to hoping a swifter S3 to come. The fan service wasn't that cringey this time around for me. Maybe I have grown an immunity to it. Looking forward to Gin, Muneshige and Mary being part of the regular cast antics. Awards! Best couple:Neshinbara-Shakespeare nothing beats kawaii megane. 2nd goes to Tenzo-Mary Best Fight: Neshinbara vs Shakespeare; although I didn't get much of how writer battles work but man it was awesome. 2nd goes to Futayo vs Gin Funniest battle: Both Masazumi vs Christopher Hatton battles. With that OP anteater pet. Edit: Did I mention Tori is naked for like 90% of the season? No shame man

ended like I thought it would (kinda for the last bit). So, I guess he's going to hook up with his parr instead of the princess lol. Also, the prince coming back after he was executed so who exactly died then? ok anime overall. On June 22 2014 08:41 Toadesstern wrote: + Show Spoiler [mahouka 12] + damn it. + Show Spoiler [Neito vs Trump] + Other fight I really enjoyed was Shirojiro vs the Baseball guys, and Neito vs Mecha-mouse-musume Funniest fight was definitely Masazumi vs the Skeleton guy. DEATHH~~~

Its just ludicrous how OP he is. it's just like SAO but even worse so that you just constantly laugh instead of facepalming because it actually is funny that way. Kirito 1v1'ed a raidboss, which is ludicrous as well but they at least tried to make it look like he might have died wasn't it for plot armor. They don't even give a crap about that kind of stuff in mahouka. "Oh, best guy in 3rd grade who never lost a fight, ever? NPNP win in a LITERAL splittsecond"

Also, I find NGNL's OP MCs more ridiculous than Tatsuya. Only thing is Tatsuya has the personality of a pubic hair and isn't interesting at all.

As ridiculous as Tatsuya is, I can ignore it for the most part and just focus on the finer things in life (girls). Mari #1. Also, I find NGNL's OP MCs more ridiculous than Tatsuya. Only thing is Tatsuya has the personality of a pubic hair and isn't interesting at all. The difference here is that NGNL is supposed to be ridiculous and brainless in the first place while hayamincest ends up being ridiculous as a product of it being horrible. That's like looking at korezom and saying it makes no sense. Who in his right mind would judge it based on wether or not it makes sense. Actually don't mind that. That part As ridiculous as Tatsuya is, I can ignore it for the most part makes it quite clear that we perceive it differently. I wouldn't put that as something that needs to be ignored. For me it's the reason I keep watching it despite not having it's intended effect ![]()

Nothing wrong with people who are op for the sake of being op, except most of the time the writers suck and you end up looking at some slash fiction equivalent in anime form. They did 2 vols randomly when the series is in 3 vol sets to 9~10 vols total. Was a complete wonder that it got an adaptation in the first place when the source material was like, just beginning. Book lovers carried sales a fair bit though, so who knows. Backstory wise, Kawakami focuses on like 2~3 people per vol (so Neshinbara, ninja and Naruze in s2) while doing the general story. The people on enemy side also get considerable amount of development, particularly the PA Oda people once they start showing up. Too bad that's not for a while. They did explain who and what Azuma is. For like, 10 lines, in season 1. Too bad all the things about his importance were in the cutted out parts of s1 and vol 3 lol~ The fanservice only gets stronger as the series goes on, Kawakami has a way of making it work though. I mean, he even made trap sex work in Ahead. Most dramatic fight of vol 2 is definitely Takakane v Shirojiro on iirc Okutama. Too bad anime wasn't able to execute it properly. Made the whole thing a lot lamer than it could've been. Neshinbara v Shakespeare would probably make a lot more sense if they didn't cut out half of the stuff about Neshinbara himself. The process of the fight itself was more about the development of Neshinbara throughout the vol rather than 'how they fought'. Since the latter really just boiled down into them writing things and things happen the way they write.

It is like looking at the rise of Twilight and Fifty Shades of Grey over and over again.
