I laughed so badly when I read about that and how Jibril made up some bullshit on the fly to get them to join the bath. Oh and yeah like you said the ending, which should be them arriving in a sci-fi city that resembles tokyo and the explanation afterwards was amazing too.

its actually even more gruesome in the LN. One of the people that Rentaro saves and others band up and torture, abuse, lynch, and set on fire the school children and it is explained quite graphicly from what I heard. I think they did this instead of the bombing so it always could have been worse. This author is a big fan of urobuchi so you can expect some of his elements in black bullet.

Anyways the next episode will have kagetane back, I can't wait lol.

I don't disagree with you. I think they could've definitely developed that scene further and left the school children alone but for whatever reason, they didn't. Maybe that child plays a role later on so they saved her till then or maybe it was just them wasting characters. Either way, I was still pretty saddened by all the school children dying

Apparently this is another simulation, this time featuring laser class. Which means I can't abuse flying like I did last time.


I start out the mission, and I'm like fucking surrounded! But I have some new additions. 2 units of Main Battle Tanks, and 1 unit of Tanks with Guns, which I will now refer to as Guntanks. Caller linked me to some video of this mission, where they like run the tanks to the top right, have the TSFs hold ground against the attacking BETA, and then jump over the river to kill the Lasers. Guess I'll give that a shot.



To start off, Echo, ,Tonight and Toad start shooting at the Little Red Fuckers, while my tanks fall back behind those buildings. A problem I'm seeing like, right now, is that I'm not actually able to kill the little red fuckers....


Well, I guess this is something I need to not do in the future. Tanks have super long range, but apparently they can't shoot through TSFs. Tonight here is blocking a shot, so I can only really get a shot off at that Destroyer class over there... But its just a triangle, and a front shot, so probably won't do much. Better than nothing, though...


Tank guys shooting! This General Caller, since he wanted to be a tank.


Meh, wasn't really expecting much of anything with that anyway. Anyway, end turn.


Wait wuhhhhhh little red fuckers grabbed Tonight and now...


"GAHHHHH IT HURTS, IM BEING EATTTEN AHHHHH FUCKKKKK BEETTTERRSS!" -Tonight as he is being eaten... Fuck. You can't dodge or anything if little red fuckers grab on to you, so then grapplers come up and fucking one shot you!


Fuckkk when did that gap open up!? Incoming Laser fire!!!



Toad gets shot by lasers, but his Anti-Laser shit keeps him alive.



But on the other hand, this debacle continues! Echo, who was my Ace, who was supposed to hold the bottom line, is beset by those little red fuckers he wasn't able to one shot.. And in come the Grapplers.


"IM GONNA DIE BETA THEY ARE EATNIG MY FACE DAFDSFJHSDAKJLHF!!!!" -Echo as hes getting eaten. Double fuck. I'm hugely fucked. Game over. Echo and Tonight are dead, soon Caller and Toad are going to be surrounded, and its the BETA's first fucking turn.


Guntank attacks! Guntank is moe, so this can be ZNF... Although, at this point, I'm naming a unit that is pretty much guaranteed to die, so its pretty much like I'm just tossing ZNF's name into a BETA meat grinder.


Go Caller, you got a clear shot! Grappler Class like one fucking square ahead of you!


And Caller blows the shit out of the Grappler.



Toad: "I'm the last robot pilot left alive...! That makes me the main character!!!" Toad starts spraying down Tank Class.


So, this is the overall battle situation now. The BETA have moved once, and I've lost Echo and Tonight. Caller and Toad are pretty much guaranteed to get surrounded their next turn.



And it begins. Grapplers move in on Caller...


"TOUHOU BANZAAII!!" -Caller as he gets punched to death by Grapplers. So Caller is dead now. Not unexpected. I'm guessing I'll be completely wiped out by like BETA Turn 3.


Toad gets punched, but hes still alive. Not dead yet! Unexpectedly, he survives the turn.


So, I'm fucked, so might as well experiment. Gonna see how well Guntank does against a charging Destroyer. While I'm almost 100% sure it won't be effective, wanna know how ineffective. Plus, I've pretty much lost at this point anyway, so fuck it.


Huh.


Meanwhile, my last Main Battle Tank, Spazer, opens fire at the Destroyer Clas coming the wrong way around the building. Hitting it in its side.


Didn't do shit!! I wonder if it was because of terrain or something...


Meanwhile "I WANT MY MOMMY IM DYING!!!" Toad is dead. Got swarmed by BETA. Died a horrible, painful death, suitable for all the waifu trash talking he does.


So yeah, I'm fucked, no point in dragging this out at this point.


ZNF gettin mauled by Little red fuckers

"Btttzz *crackle**blue screens*" Spazer dead, mission over.


So, what did we learn? We learned that I'm gonna redo this shit on like a lower difficulty, like Very Hard or something. I have to prioritize killing little red fuckers over everything else. I need to not block my tanks shots.

Got Raped by BETA. Gonna try again tomorrow.

wonder what Layla's motives are. Take over the world? Regardless, looking bad for them. I have a feeling that Vivi and her friend will help them out somehow seeing their situation.
