He's definitely the standard bad guy. They could've also executed the story a bit better but at least it felt sequential as it went down and the idea keeping in mind what I've watched is somewhat unique to me. + Show Spoiler + They did need further explains as to the stars though since I felt that wasn't explained much, same with the other city part. | ||

Honestly, the story would've been a hell of a lot better without all the dystopian shit. I don't even know why they bothered, because it literally added nothing to the story. If anything, the bad guy actually detracted from the dramatic moments simply because of how comically extreme his character is. It's impossible to take him seriously. Heck, they don't even adequately explain how the world got into the state it did in the first place. A scientific experiment goes wrong, therefore a dystopian society results and we indoctrinate our kids? What. The concept in itself is pretty interesting, and they could've done a lot of cool stuff just exploring the world without all the bullshit. It's a damn shame, really. | ||
