I don't think its that bad, good enough to not drop. As usual with that author, the technical aspect is a complete mess and a joke to read. The characters are acceptable if you are into that kind of stuff. Maybe.

The novel does have closure, though the second half of the series got pretty weird. Did the bad finance ever stop? It was getting fairly retarded very early on. The relationship kind of just sits there and doesn't really develop in any interesting way. Banter was ok though.

I do want to watch it for some reason but i asked since just basing from trailer the movie seems to be the generic childhood friends to about to graduate from high school and migrate/study/work somewhere not close and confess love and both gets confused until finally resolved type of romance story.
This types of romance stories is notorious for having garbage quality most of the time anyways. So i ask just to make sure i don't waste my time.

if it had ridiculous fight scenes and some song sequence it could pass off for a bollywood blockbuster....

The second half didn't have much finance except final arc, instead we got more of Horo and Her Mystery Friends, and emo Horo in general.

The original Tamako series got panned as being pretty underwhelming across the board I think, so I doubt the sequel would be much better. Not one of KyoAni's better works.

Give examples please.
Tamaket is one of Kyoani's best series what is everyone talking about?

I checked TLADT recommendation list and tried true tears. I am on episode 4 right now. And OMG + Show Spoiler +What is with the weird scene with the crazy-girl(Noe) and her brother trying to caress her face ?
Can somebody pls tell me that this angle won't continue ? or if it is bearable ? + Show Spoiler +I absolutely hate and get repulsed badly by the incestuous angle. It's what almost made me drop Nisemonogatari, what made me drop SAO season 2 and what made me never watch Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai.

You probably shouldn't pick up something called "my little sister couldn't be this cute" in the first place... just saying.

Actually i never saw the english translated title of it when i first encountered it and i normally never search the meaning of japanese titles. And after reading the sypnosis i thought it was some harmless romance anime with tsundere lead female. Good thing i've seen a couple of spoilers and never entered the gates of hell.

Also half of the shoujo out there has some girl who can't talk or look at people without getting fits.
Oh right, there was also that watashi ga motenai series, the awkwardness there is cringing bad. But at least it saves your brain from putting up with spicy wolf author.

I guess I am the only one who thought that Oreimo was solid until the cop out ending.
|
Sakurasou main girl is boring. Watamote is just cringe, not really moe.
I automatically tune out of all the "serious talk" so I can consider myself lucky.

I thought the first season was okay, and the second started off decently as well. But when someone spoiled the ending for me I didn't really bother watching the rest. Kirino is one of the worst characters ever really. Especially in the second season.

The ending despite being a cop out actually was more than I expected it to beso yeah, sure it was a cop out but I thought it would be way worse in that regard and was a little suprised, in a positive way. That's what everyone's talking about when they're saying go into anime expecting nothing!

Yes, but then Aoyama was so depressed and adorable that she made up for Shina's boring.
I just wanted to give Aoyama a hug. :/

Oreimo wasn't that bad for me. I mean, it was bad, but for the most part I could handle it and most of the time I enjoyed it. Also, Ayase...

Oh man, I'm glad I didn't drop Wixoss. The suffering is just too good.
+ Show Spoiler +Get trapped in card and see your dream come true to the one who stole your place
I'm glad very little time is spent on actual battles though.

I expected bad out of something called "My little sister can't be this cute", and my expectations were far exceeded. Not only was it bad, it was bad enough that I struggle to think of anything good about it. So Oreimo didn't disappoint in the least.

Summary of Arpeggio, aka moeboats, aka shitboats:
Hm, show was pretty bad to say the least. I mean you start off with these girls, therye cute, w/e. Only a few of them are worth liking though. Like Kirishima, oh fuck yes, I thought she would be my oasis in a barren desert-land. Oh nice, theyre making a full episode devoted to her being a crazy psychopath hot bitch, AWESOME. But nope, she "dies". And comes back as a teddy bear. Yes, a TEDDY BEAR. Literally a fucking TEDDY BEAR.
But not to worry, we got Maya!. Ah yes, she reminded me a lot of Muginami from RnL. Good stuff. CARNIVAL DA YO!. Yes, you can Carnival da yo me anyday you sexy biatch. Wait waht? What are you doing? Whats happening? OMFG SHES FAKE, FUCK YOU ARPEGGIO YOU PIECE OF SHIT.
But we had a third girl in our pockets folks. Yes, the lovely Hyuga! Mmmm, dat delicous dry humping girl with her mono-spectacles and lab coat. Everytime she did her stupid quirky Iona fangirl bullshit, it never got old (I couldnt say the same for Takao x Gunzou tsundere moments). But yes, she was great. Her regular dress up, and her in a bikini, mmm so good. And guess what? SHE WASNT FAKE OR DED. PRAISE THE ANIME GODS.
Well, that was the only thing I found enjoyable about the show. Plot perspective it was as boring and cliche as you could ever get.
-We are Fogs, follow Admiral Bulldog Code -We no emotion, we follow order. -Omg, 401 has emotion, she is malfucntioned -Omg, I go crazy cause I start to feel emotion too -Gattai with Maya and Deathstar mode -Iona console her and make her good -POWER OF FRIENDSHIP FUCK YA.
