That's like the exact opposite of what deconstruction means. People should not be allowed to use the word deconstruction until they prove that they have read Derrida or something. Deconstruction is, in essence, the denial of of intrinsic and stable meaning.

Deconstruction has its place in literary criticism, but there has seen a lamentable trend of attempting to take deconstruction and misapplying it to all sorts of situations like this one. Everything I can say here is grossly simplified, but deconstruction pushes and/or reduces situations to extremes, and shows that at these extremes, they are fundamentally contradictory or infinitely complex, and thus cannot be consolidated into a single encompassing statement.

The difference however is that School Days does not make sense in anyting they're doing. It's a soap opera and nothing else. I'd be hard pressed to give you even just a single action in the entire anime that makes any kind of sense if you don't consider drama building up for a huge shitstorm that collapses in the end a purpose worthwhile.
Sent would probably argue that Makoto makes sense in that he's a guy and he likes to fuck girls so his actions make perfectly sense but I'm not shauni enough to reduce myself to that level and always hoped (and still do) that whenever Sent is talking about School Days in that way he's joking around.
