The first anime I watched was Magi S2. I started watching it hesitantly because I didn't like S1 all that much, although it had its moments and I really do like Aladdin and tsundere-hime. Alibaba, however, is a pain to watch and I'm glad he got much, much less screen time in S2. That already made things a lot better. I really enjoyed all the middle episodes, but the beginning (before they split up) was more of S1 silliness, and the end was a bit dragged on and bleh. I enjoyed the whole Aladdin-in-school bits. Ishihara Kaori plays her role as Aladdin phenomenally and makes the show that much better. Having Sakamoto Maaya on a really-old-yet-loli character is always nice too. Personally I'd rate Magi S2 a 7.5, but because it's MAL I will be giving it a 7 as I don't think it's good enough to round up to an 8. The second anime I watched was Jinrui wa Suitaishimashita. What a show. I don't think you can nail a role harder than Nakahara Mai did as the MC. She was just picture perfect, and thanks to her acting, the MC (hereby dubbed Jinsui-chan) is now one of my favorite characters of all time. The fairies were absolutely adorable and hilarious, and the episodes in which they got a lot of screen time were certainly the best. The interactions between Jinsui-chan and the fairies were always amazing. Episode 9, where they got stuck on the island and created a nation, was one of the single most brilliant episodes of any anime I have ever seen. I just finished episode 12 and I haven't come that close to crying in a very long time. I had tears in my eyes but I managed to hold them back. That fairy and that ending... absolutely beautiful. Jinsui is brilliant, cute, original, and hilarious. It's unfortunate that not every episode is as good as episode 9, but they are all good nonetheless. The show gets a solid 9/10 from me. I think tonight or tomorrow night I will be starting on some of the old Gundam stuff to get ready for Gundam Unicorn. I haven't watched any mecha in a while (the last one I watched I think was Break Blade last year), so I'm kind of excited. :> | ||

Both Onodera and Kirisaki acting way differently (or asking for a kiss) only for Raku to completely fall sleep or misunderstand? :O Well, not really that surprising when you think about it. He's been told that Onodera likes him in a previous episode but then he forgot about that it seems so I guess it's pretty normal for him to be this dense lol. Credits to Onodera for having the guts to ask for a kiss and for Kirisaki for being more open with Onodera and at least finally recognizing her feelings for Raku. Yeah, a lot of fan service in Nisekoi 18 but I still like every episode with Chitoge somehow, it's fun. Although not much progress being made, story wise | ||
