Pretty sure it's just...sci-fi.
And I liked Ghost in the Shell SAC and that shares a lot of general characteristics with Psycho Pass (sci-fi, policemen, mysterious antagonist, a mystery that continues to crop up through the show, etc. etc) so I don't think that I just don't like Pscyho Pass because it has a bunch of tropes that I dislike. @__@ I think I disliked it because I just didn't FEEEEEL.

Just started watching Log Horizon and people on the site keep shitting on it and saying Sword Art Online was better. you mean MAL? from my experience, they are really different from each other. I did enjoy how SAO was progressing in terms of [..] the game, felt more of an MMORPG compared to LH where you had some combat. Of course, SAO eventually went into relationships and such lol but before that, it was what I expected. Either way, both are good anime and I think you'll enjoy LH Did you watch the same anime as me? How did SAO feel anything like a game or an MMO? As far as MMOs go, SAO's game part were barely ever touched on ever, and those that were showed SAO to be based on some of the most basic cookie cutter mechanics I've ever seen. LH has tons of parts that are just like MMO cliff notes. SAO doesn't even come close to LH in terms of portraying a video game. LH did have some parts and good explanations in some earlier episodes but lately, it's moved away from that so we rarely get to see it. As someone mentioned, it's become more political and such, not that that's necessarily a bad thing. SAO from what I recall, had a lot more combat early on, more so than LH(we had that one part where they rescued Serara early on and some small skirmishes in comparison). Either way, they both eventually veered off the path imo so no point in arguing this.

the point that was being made (imo) was that SAO's action scenes were exactly that, scenes that could have been from any 0815-action-shounen without any resemblences of mmorpg elements except for the sometimes appearing healthbars and menus. The guy has a sword when we live in a time and age in which swords usually aren't used anymore and he hits mighty hard with it. That's about it. LH on the other hand had it's fight with stuff that resembled MMO games in the way they showed and executed the fights. It had its downs in the point that it oversimplified by rubbing information into peoples faces whenever they needed it, and 3 times afterwards, to make sure every single person understands it (the anime that is), but the scenes weren't just blank fights with an underlying MMO-theme. The priorities were just completly the other way around.
SAO was some 0815 action/romance/harem shounen that ended up having an MMO background story that made people watch the first 2 episodes just to figure out that the background would never end up being touched again. LH was a show/LN about an MMO that happened to be (probably?) some kind of shounen / action (?) / romance (?) as well. Comparing SAO and LH on the terms of MMO-ness is like looking at a film from Michael Bay and talking about the story when clearly it's about nothing but explosions and action scenes. Sure there might be some story involved but come on...

I figure they'll keep trolling us. I think today's episode was the trolliest by far based on what I wrote. My only hope is that we get some bits and pieces of plot here and there amidst the trolling so that it's moving at some slow pace. Nope, just trolling and harem adds. ah figured as much lol.

I spent the past two nights watching Nisekoi.
I feel like I'm enjoying the show more than I should be.

Best end to Noragami imo. That battle was pretty cool, well-animated as well. + Show Spoiler +Yato kicking Rabo around after they thought Hiyori was gone for good was great to watch XD . Really wish we get another season considering there's still the grudge and I'm sure there's more that can be explored etc...

Touyama Nao and Hanakana 2gewd. I think it really depends on the individual when it comes to Nisekoi. Some people, like myself, don't mind the trolling lol while others prefer it was more direct. Given, it also depends how much you've watched so far(are you caught up to the latest episode?)

the last episode was the biggest tease ever. And I already said that after the episode before that. Not that I mind it.
