Finally, Minori speaks out. Been waiting for her to mention what strategy to use in a while. Not being able to add Rudy to a friend list is a bit odd though, wonder why. The attack by the demi-humans makes me wonder if they become the other race so to speak so you have the adventurers, people of the land(including nobles) and the demi-humans. Yeah the design is aimed to be able to target a younger audience as well, NHK picked it up as something that can hit a younger age group and still have appeal to older viewers w/ the content. | ||

I still do wonder if he'll really end up with Onodera though. I mean, it seems like she's the one who he made the promise to 10 years ago and she still remembers it+she likes him on top of that but being paired up with Kirisaki for 3 years might put a damper in his thoughts about the promise. Toaru isn't bad but for whatever reason the story feels lame so far lol. I guess the pace feels slow and there isn't enough airplanes I think it will get better as we get introduced to more characters and I did enjoy the sibling humour(or shouts lol). Mahou feels really bizzare from the start. If you like Magic, you might enjoy it. I'm hoping it gets better and things become more clearer in the next episode. I would say watch both of them keeping in mind that it's the first episode then if you find you greatly dislike them from just the first episode, drop them. I'm going to watch the second episode to see how things improve. I'll likely leave Toaru since it has some potential, dunno about Mahou yet though. | ||

I mean, they are climbing from the bottom so if they get famous way too fast, it'll seem out of place me thinks.
