Yeah he has a habit of killing off large parts of the cast towards the end and pumping up the suffering to maximum. Oddly enough i heard he promised that his golfing manga would be free of this but i haven't checked to see if that is actually true.

Interesting, considering the nature of Sora no Otoshimono early on. Thats probably why they decided against a third season of the anime and went with a movie instead.

Wake up Girls was pretty good, didn't expect to like it. Is this a weekly show? I'm wondering if they are putting out 1 hour episodes every 200 years like unicorn or if this was like an introductory special episode. If it's the latter then I'm looking forward to next week's episode.

If you liked Wake Up Girls and you haven't watched IdolM@ster you might want to check it out. I know it's too early to judge, but the two have a very similar synopsis, and just by looking at the character designs Idolm@ster has a much more vibrant cast of characters that are much more easily identifiable.

I had trouble figuring out who was who in that first episode of Wake Up Girls.

I have no idea who's who either to be honest, that's fine though I only really remember names after seeing/hearing them for a while. I just liked the tone of this show, it looked sort of like a hanasaku iroha with idols. I'll put that idolmaster on my list and take a look when I have time to marathon stuff
