Slow and steady. Yeah um no. Maybe with another 5 vols of Progressive retcon'd in. When I said slow and steady, I meant it wasn't one episode into couple and such. It was several episodes and if you notice the dates, it wasn't exactly a short period from what I recall. Either way, my point was that I enjoyed their relationship in SAO and felt it was well done.

To be fair I never had any real issues with their relationship even in the books, where it got laid out stupidly fast. But slow and steady is definitely not how I'd describe one encounter into year+ time skips.

The relationship was fine at first. But when they started doing all that stuff like when they took a day off to go see the land and ended up fishing a monster... that felt like it took forever and I later realized (I think?) it was only 1 episode. And yeah the kid they adopted ...

Hey now, Yui saved them many times lol. It did feel odd that these kids "had a child' though if Yui is included. Sister never stood a chance imo. And yeah the kid they adopted ... actually, you're right -> It was several episodes when they left and went off to live on their own and such. It did feel excessive though and that was one of the parts that I think having less of would've helped to focus the anime but at least they were serious after it ended ![]()

At the very least, they don't get basic facts wrong nearly as often. ANN writers are really amazing. If you look at their reviews, everything prior to 2008 you go "that makes sense, thanks!" and everything since you go "WTF!!? Why is this obviously clueless buffoon allowed to spew bullshit?" RandomC are weird, but at least they put in good effort and come to their own (though often wrong) conclusion.

Well their previews are more than fine, they basically give you a rundown of every first episode they watched. That helps me not having to watch everything and still get a good view of the shows besides reading the initial summary.

I mean, you did suggest that the female lead of SAO had pink hair so maybe you don't care whether people can cite basic facts about what they are talking about. That's fine too I guess.

I been following their previews for a couple of years now and has helped me avoid a lot of turds, so I find them more than helpful.

I don't know about their content a long time ago, but everyone there has at least two heads up their ass. Also SAO blows.

If you find them useful then that's that, but like Ragz and I have been saying, the writers from that place can't even get basic facts right the majority of the time concerning what they are writing about. So for anyone to find their reviews helpful is quite a feat.

If I like the description I add it to my MAL plan to watch list. No idea how much that happens but I usually end up with 3-5 shows a season that way. 2) After that I check out every 1st episode of stuff that ended up making me read the description but didn't get on my plan to watch list to make sure and I usually find stuff that I sacked earlier to be entertaining. I'm usually around 7-8 shows I'm fairly interested around now. 3) After that I end up watching 1st episodes around week 3 of stuff that other people said to be decent that I have not paid any attention to yet but that's usually not that much. IRC's great for that. 3.5) Sometimes I add stuff simply based on genre because of a "gosh haven't seen something like that in a while" like when Blood lad was about to be aired I added it to my plan to watch simply because the description said something about vampires and I haven't seens anything vampire related in a while. Still haven't watched it because I have strike the blood right now ![]() It is a very emnjay-esque system on first glance but it works decently. This is very close to what I do as well. Though at first glance there didn't seem to be that many shows that interested me but I thought as much for this last season as well.

Kirito and Asuna made such a lovely couple imo and the way they grew to love each other was pretty slow and steady. The first part had exactly what I thought and hoped it would have. A wide variety of characters, interesting bosses, plenty of fights etc... The story was also explained clearly from the start and while saddening, the anime wasn't afraid to kill off some characters. Sachi ;_; Part 2 seems a bit odd though. Mostly how he managed to trap her in game and such. Also, the game being about faeries and all lol. Having said that, the way this new MMO was based on SAO with some minor changes and such and that lead to Kirito maintaining his stats was interesting. You have no clue how much I was waiting for Kirito and Leafa to find out they are related to see how it gets handled so it was nice to see them not avoid it when it becomes obvious. They could've possibly used a couple more episodes to give us a better view of Alfheim Online but on second thought, it might've been excessive. I also liked that they actually had Kirito and Sugo have a final showdown and that Kirito didn't drop to Sugo's level and instead left him alive and went to see Asuna. Also, I was really glad that Yui wasn't forgotten about and came back to reunite wit Kirito and Asuna. Showing them surviving and being together after all the trouble they had was heartwarming I'm excited for SAO II! :D Wait what ! you actually liked SAO ? well its not that bad the first 6 episodes and if you liked it i actually think that the couple screwed up the show..oh well SAO is one of those HIT or MISS shows .. either you hate it or like it
