does this fight actually happen? or is it just implied they fought and won / lost It was a fake preview, never happened.
so is an actual fight going to occur though, or will the episodes not reach graduation day?

What the fuck am I reading. ? they've been concentrating on the world they are in with only hints of some of the players loving others and such. Whether it goes full stream from this point or not is anyone's guess. Hints? Ha. Please. It doesn't waste episodes and episodes on relationships, sure, but it certainly doesn't avoid it. that's my point lol. cmon, we're now arguing wording. They aren't avoiding per se but they have been dedicating more time to exploring the world and managing the conflicts. Relationships are secondary so far. Yeah, but it came off fairly ridiculous when you say that they are avoiding relationships when they basically throw it in your face. The statement just came off silly. fair enough. I could've probably said they relegated them to second instead

They wanted to go full cheesy dance scene and use up some of the time in this episode to balance the instance run on training camp side. Made a fair amount of sense tbh, and the less of that dance shit we see the better.

Walkure Romance recovered from the 1st 2 terribad episodes to be ok, probably went from horrible to just below average. Outbreak Company I wish they would have went more into the conflict between the Japanese government and the Empire but eh too much for 12 episodes I guess.

Well I enjoyed the dance in the LN. They could have fit it in the last episode, but it would mean cutting out some of the interaction between the newbies.
A new Space Dandy trailer this time with dub + Show Spoiler +

I just found it odd that by the end they were like "Well we know the only reason you came here to spread your culture was to take us over, but since you promised to not kill this one guy we really like (again), we'll let you stay and continue to try and go with your original plan".

Author is really hit and miss with his stuff, though Outbreak Company soured by a lot instead of just starting looking like a mistake. Go hope for a Gate so the JSDF fought here adapation or something.

Actually making it look like Shiroe did amazing is pretty silly, only need to establish that the two sides have common ground after all. But meh, he likes that gimmick a lot apparently.

I actually really like the angle of the NPC becoming really important in the MMO world (in contrast to SAO) and being considered as full-fledged sentient beings. You could make a much more serious and adult series with that, I think, but Log Horizon is kind of a kid's show, so it feels a bit wasted. You could have a lot of interesting questions on the subject of NPCs in a temporary "virtual but all too real" world. Are they human? Do they have human rights? Can I love an NPC? Do they cease to exist if the servers shut down? etc.. It's probably to be linked to topics like Artificial Intelligence and such.

It was the first good example of a main class being able to do something special out of combat not counting the steam engine which said more about sub classes. Maybe the Kannagi, Enchanter and Druid classes can do something special like talk to the dead, remove magical effects and grow plants.
The NPC aspect is being explored and will be explored more. The NPCs and the community aspect of Log Horizon make it the series enjoyable as it feels like a living world instead of just a death trap or a prison.
If I were in Log Horizon when I played my first MMO I would also be one of the newbies, didn't read guides and didn't understand aggro until a long time other than as a squishy I didn't want to be in front pulling enemies. It wasn't really a big deal since usually other people knew how to navigate the instance, but the newbies were sent into this dungeon with the expectation they would fail.

I thought were past the point of comparing Log Horizon to SAO.
My friend never played a MMO a day in his life so he definitely loves how theyre doing Dungeons for Dummies 101. I dont mind it either, I think its adorable how theyre doing it from a major noobie perspective. I want more. MORE.

I think basically Eldant was fine because they know they have the upper hand now in diplomatic relations because of the crap Japan was pulling plus they know Japan won't attack militarily so they really have the advantage now.

Speaking of comparing Log Horizon to SAO, this is stuff that SAO is about in the Alicization arc (more or less). The idea of a world of sentient NPCs/AI, human rights, things like that.

I was out all weekend, but finally caught up in KLK. Yukarin's character is great. Needs more of her befriending people.
|
Did anyone watch White Album 2?
Was it not the most magnificent thing since Kimi ga Nozum Eien?
Does anyone know the VN ending? If so, post or pm please :D

I don't think she will befriend anyone. That said, Yukarin + powerful character = great indeed.
Started reading the knights of sidonia manga, will be interesting to see the anime even though it's cgi.
