+ Show Spoiler [KnK 11] +I'm really hoping for a 'bad end' at this point. Or at least something to properly justify the director crying or whatever has been claimed about the finale.
In other news, Kanbara-mama.
On Arpeggio: They've gone so far off the rails I'm just waiting to see how they handle the last two episodes, will reserve judgement until after. There's no point treating any part of it as similar to the manga now apart from moeboats and character names.

I took your advice and dedicated some more of my spare time to watching some anime, plowing through Hunter x Hunter, Fairy Tail, Attack on Titan and Death Note in a few weeks. With Christmas coming up and me having to abandon my vacation plans, I was hoping for a few suggestions. Preferrably shounen, though I wouldn't mind something else either if you think it's good. Thanks <3

My favorite shounens are One Piece, FMA:B, and Yu Yu Hakusho. All are very good, while One Piece is tied with LOGH as my favorite of all time. FMA and Yu Yu Hakusho are finished, while One Piece is ongoing. So tkae your pick, all 3 are good choices.

Got to agree with Sentenal on One Piece and Yu Yu Hakusho, both are exemplary.

Thanks <3 If at some point you're sick of seeing obnoxious teenageboys saving the world while spouting righteous speeches but still want to go for the same genre you might want to check out Railgun (read: not Index). It's pretty much the same, equally cliché than most of them, compareable to most of the action-shounens that don't have episode numbers in the 3 digits (imo), but Misaka's a girl and not a boy. Makes for enough difference to enjoy it and not want to punch the MC in the face every time he opens his mouth.
That being said, I'm not even sure it's a shounen... I mean misaka's a girl and so are the other 3 somewhat important people. Actually everyone's female in that show except for Touma (doesn't count), the doctor and someone who won't get important before S. The slice-of-life-esque episodes are all very girlsh as well with them gathering, drinking tea and stuff like that but everything else is just your standard action shounen.
Also Misaka and all 99XX or so other people related to her a fricking awesome.
But yeah, what Sent said is pretty much the standard go to if you enjoy that kind of stuff.

In Kill la Kill, I feel like Mako and that Gamagoori guy would have the most dysfunctional but hilarious friendship/relationship.

Kind of in the order of awesomeness: Gundam 08th MS Mushishi Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (aka LoGH) Last Exile Fate / Zero Monster Kidou Senkan Nadesico Black Lagoon Gundam Seed Wolf's Rain Dennou Coil Honey & Clover Uchouten Kazoku
Some old long classics: + Show Spoiler +Yuyu Hakusho Slam Dunk Touch Maison Ikkoku Urusei Yatsura
As sent said, One Piece is great, but it is 600+ eps with no ending in sight, so, probably not something you want dive in now.

Kill la Kill too good this week :O!, got me super excited for next week's episode >.<.

Goddamn King Torture's voice. Some nerd-chill inducing voice acting as usual. Edit: Haha, I should probably find Samurai Flamenco bad, but it's somehow so good. I guess Masayoshi is just that kakkoii.

saw the plot twist coming a mile away
also jakuzure so sexy in tracksuit

Well if hes going through Fairy Tail, which is like a medioocre One Piece-lite shounen, he should be fine with the real deal.

Man Yozakura Quartet hana no uta has so much fan service in first 2 episodes then like all of the previous season combined. This will be a good season, the animation is quite different too.

KnK, yes the story is not refreshing and going the way exactly as everyone expected. But fuck all that i want a good ending for the characters in this anime. So glad to see that he made it into the sphere.

Don't forget sports Shounen. I would recommend Hajime no Ippo a boxing manga and Slam Dunk.
I enjoyed the the ramp up in Kill la Kill and Samurai Flamenco. Kill la Kill was expected as there was definitely a story outside of the academy, but I still have no idea where Flamenco is going even though it's still enjoyable.

One Piece.
Hajime no Ippo.
Those are the two most important ones imo. FMA and FMA:B are also nice.
