This is shows that i know that is somewhat high crazy quality. This are the must watch.
Fate Zerothis anime is almost perfect its good in all aspects like sound,animation,story,characters and it has ZERO FANSERVICE,the conversation is pretty insane and its one of those shows you will enjoy if you think but in order to enjoy it fully watch FateStayNight its not as good as fate zero its generic but you will not be confused if you watch fate zero. You dont have to watch FateStayNight you will still enjoy it.
FMA : Brotherhoodreally good it has almost all elements like comedy and stuff despite being pretty dark and its shounen .
Cowboy BebopIts a classic of all classics . i suggest you start with episode 5-6 then go to episode 1 so that you get the feels of the anime.
Clannad After StoryYou will cry like a baby i assure you this is the most emotional anime that is made so far. This is always rated 9-10 go on check for reviews. If you are expecting this to be like a soap opera this is not. Its light heart-ed. But you need to watch Clannad first and Clannad is not the same as how powerful afterstory is its kinda generic. This is not shounen by the way.
Baccano it feels like it belongs here since in every episode there some kind of cliffhanger that makes you wanna watch more. Its a show about Mafia and stuff. What makes this interesting is the characters. Just be careful because its a short 13 episodes but its confusing as fuck since they do not follow a linear timeline sometimes the next episode would be from the past then the next would be from the future. But dont worry it will all tie up in the end.
If you want long ass series then go with
One Piece(the king of shounen)
Fairy Tail( its a funny shounen)
Hajime no Ippo(the king of boxing shounen)
Avatar: The Last Airbender (this is actually pretty decent its fun and when the story goes serious its pretty good)
Other Shounens series
Slam Dunk(the former king of basketball shounen)
Kuroku no Basket(the new king of basketball shounen)
Rave Master(average but same author with Fairy tail)

I think that manga actually kind of loses a lot of its entertainment value when considering that the main character keeps beating the hell out of everyone in one shot, but it's always amusing and one of the latest chapters with the Licenseless Rider was really good. ^^

I watched that show because a friend suggested it. Finished Season 1 because it involved a flaming katana. Dropped Season 2 after the first episode because I had enough.

F/Z has an almost perfect cast of characters? F/Z has no fan service (hahahahaha)? He should watch FSN to full enjoy F/Z? F/Z is a very solid anime, but are you being completely serious with all these lines?

I don't think the 3rd season was worse than the 2nd. It certainly wasn't anything close to good, mind you, but the second season was almost as bad as ZnT season 3. Of the 26 or whatever episodes that made that season, 21 or 22 of them were absolute boring crap. At least the 3rd season had senseless fighting and keikakus keikakuing keikakus.

the whole point were you sit there and realize what's going on way before anything goes down while both of them (mostly shana I guess?) are completly oblivious about what's going on, while also lacking the ability to open their mouths made season 3 even worse for me to be honest.
A 30 second talk/question, hell even a simple "sup?" from either of the two would have been enough to get a shortcut to the exact same ending a couple episodes in...
But to be honest, I don't really remember it all that well, I don't even remember what season 2 was about so you might be right lol

Thats because season 2 wasn't about anything. It was like 20+ episodes of highschool garbage, with Shana and that other girl just being jealous of this Hecate clone that just happened to be around going to school with them.

Why i said that the cast was amazing is because they have like 15+ characters that are you know REALLY CHARACTERS. having 15+ characters that does not suck is hard to pull off. I cant remember a anime that has a lot of characters that didnt suck.

In Gundam Build Fighters I was thinking the revelation the characters had after watching China's match was that you could put any materials into your gunpla and make them viable. If you can imagine it you can make it. Why be limited to gunpla action figures when you make something that shoots acid or at least something non harmful like superglue. Heck why stop there why not add anime parts or weapons. Of course things from other series would never happen, but giving a suit a generic weapon outside the Gundam universe should work.

Other than the good shows suggested by people above, go watch or read JoJo Bizarre adventure, it changed my life back then (when it was a shounen rofl). Maybe you can wait for season3 to come out, just go straight watching that (and then go back for 1 and 2 and then you are definitely going to enjoy 4-5 in future).
also since nobody mentioned, Book of Bantora is amazing, one of the best adaptions from LN, it had so much flaws because i come from reading the novel but as a standalone anime for people who didnt read the novel, it is very good. If you are looking for something different and original (and something deep i guess lol). And durararara if you enjoyed Buccano! (buccano is so much better though imo).
Special mention Macross Frontier if you enjoyed mech show (and lots of jpop).

Generally speaking you're supposed to like the protagonist. She's got a revenge story, she's found happiness with a poor family, she gets all the silly powerups.
I still like Camp Satsuki a lot more though and always cheer against Ryuko!

The sad thing is that Shana novel actually pretty decent, but anime had nothing to do with novel after 3rd ep of S1.
