Ah, yeah i just started reading Jormungand not too long ago. It was pretty fun. Now what i would really like to see animated would be Eden: It's and Endless World or Until Death Do Us Apart :D

Ah, im only as far as Chapter 8. I cant find anything else online past that.
|
|
Where are u finding the new chapters/volumes? Is any of it translated online or do u have to read it raw / or buy the new volumes?
|
I read raw because I'm half-Japanese and the language is relatively native to me >_> Sorry for not being any help whatsoever
|
Ah, damnit i see . I was really disappointed that i couldnt find anything translated after chapter 8

At some point you decide the annoyance of waiting on subs and scanlation is too much and just pick up the language. Its a pretty easy language anyway.

They just killed my two favorite characters in Eureka Seven. I knew it was coming, but still, this sucks. + Show Spoiler +

Okay, I'm looking for anime. I'm currently in Japan, and watching some anime with subs in addition should help my Japanese out. I just have a really hard time finding good series in the jungle of anime crap.
If I would be looking for anything specific I would want to go for some sports anime with martial arts theme, with the same feel as Hikaru no Go or Hajime no Ippo. But since I've been looking around for something like that for a long time and found nothing I'd be surprised if you find something like it that is good.
Other than that I like Hikaru no Go, Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist mainly. Anything with similar styles/quality would be nice.
(if this thread is not for asking people for recommendations, sorry, ignore my post).

You are the first person I've ever heard say that-- I've heard Japanese is an extremely difficult language to learn :/

Seems I've actually missed the extra stuff for hajime no ippo. What is the right order to watch them?

If you're only halfway there is nothing to be "WTF'ed" about. Come back when you have seen the last episode.
However, I do agree that the situation is quite facepalm deserving.

Champion Road is a movie that takes place RIGHT AFTER the first 76( i think?) episode series. Then i would prolly watch Mashiba vs Kimura, which is just an OVA of Kimura going for the title against Mashiba, it was very good fight . New Challenger is just the second season of the anime and you should watch this after u've seen the movie + ova.
Shion no Ou is actually really good, i enjoyed it alot. That ending was amazingly tense for me
Saki isnt that bad either. The whole special effects or w/e u wanna call it when they play Mahjong looks pretty much the same as Hikaru no Go.
Pretty sure you've heard of Code Geass before. Damn near everyone pretty much recommends this anime if you've seen Death Note, and vice versa. Its really good as well
Grappler Baki is a bit older but i really love the underground fight scenes and not to mention Baki's dad holds the title as "The World's Strongest Creature".
History's Strongest Disciple is good as well. The manga is alot better though and if u ever want to continue the series, id highly recommend picking it up.
Busou Renkin i recommended becuz its a bit similar to FMA that u asked for. It has like alchemy and homunculi in it. I rather enjoyed this series myself.
