Soul Eater is my new favorite thing in the world and I've never really been a fan of anime in general. So good. I've never watched soul eater although heard of it a while back. The scene prior to the bridge, the one where they cornered her and wanted her to just flat out tell Ryuji. I honestly wasn't expecting that at all. It was well done imo even if it felt like it came out of nowhere. I mean cmon, I never imagined Minori, Kitamuru and Ami would decide to get her to confess after she was just giving them chocolate although to be fair, it wasn't planned. I liked the fact that Minori called Ryuji out on it and pretty much just told Taiga what happened and tried to get her to just say it. Definitely a good scene. Probably on par or just a bit short of the Christmas one where Taiga breaks down after Ryuji leaves to go to the party and she realizes that he wants to be with him over everything else. The music timing were spot on and it really added to the intensity of both scenes. I'm probably going to miss both of those scenes since I'm done watching it and I haven't seen much scenes that were that powerful in previous animes I've watched  Minori crying was definitely sad like you said and her faking wanting to talk to Ami but it would've been even worse if he decided to avoid it. I can't blame her for giving him up tbh. I mean she knew just how hurt and painful it was for Taiga to give Ryuji up for her and Minori also knew what Ryuji meant to her. It wasn't just a, I love him but more like, he's my whole life. From that perspective it makes sense. I didn't think the kissing part was all that bad either and was well timed although Ryuji was a bit timid during it and Taiga was quite relaxed and happy which was good. I think getting him mom to come back to her parents and fix her failure if you can call it that was also a smart idea and wasn't expected. Her message of the star was also a good idea as well, lots of thought put behind it which I liked. What I was really disappointed with were several things: I was disappointed with Ryuji's behaviour after her accidental confession to him several episodes before the ending. The fact that he was still up in the air after all that. I mean he was just ignoring it acting as if it didn't happen. I don't mind some obliviouness but at that point, he's been so oblivious in the anime that he should've realized just how much it was hurting her and how much she loved him. I mean she just told him that it was so painful to her and that it hurts. WTF did he want? Her to confess it to him directly? He should've at least told her that he knew and maybe add his own feelings in so that she doesn't get embarrassed. I was disappointed with the confession at the bridge and that it was never completed. Probably because he wanted to use it for the funny ending and to make those funny texts and since they both knew that they love each other so it wasn't as important but still, since they were together, I think he should've made them complete it because it's the 'first time'. The bridge scene was a bit funny though so it was ok I guess. While I understand wanting to fix things with her family and her gaining new confidence, I was disappointed that she left out of the blue. Nothing was even hinting at it at all prior to that point. She went to get changed and then come for dinner, not go to see her family. She was happy with him, they had just kissed and things were working out well between them so again, out of the blue. I know Ryuji said that they should get her family's blessing but I think she should've tried to talk with her family and straighten things out in some other way and I didn't see the full purpose of her leaving so suddenly and ditching all her friends and Ryuji in particular. I think if that happened to someone, they would be heart broken for a while unless they know their love is coming back. Yes, I'm aware that she wanted to patch things up with her family but still, it just seemed a bit odd especially after she just heard her mom's message of yelling and saying fine, I don't care etc... I think I'm mostly bitter about it since it almost felt like it was a way to pass time and avoid them interacting with each other for a bit until the ending. I also wish that the note that she left was translated to english because in the one I watched, it didn't so I would've liked to know what was written and not Ryuji's translation of "she believes in me" so I can't get her back. Another disappointing thing was that after coming back, we didn't get any more interactions at all. We got her coming back to see him on graduation day and wanting to surprise him. He sees the hair and finds her hiding in the cabinet then finally tells her that he loves her in person to which she turns red and hits him saying its embarrassing. I would've really loved if there was just one more episode. Maybe one more focusing on what happens after. Something like after the hit, they walk out together and everyone flocks around them, congratulates them and such then possibly(possibly since I dunno if this will work well and it might not) a small timeskip of maybe several months or even just have the rest of the episode of them deciding on their future, marriage prep and another one for them getting married and giving their vows to close things off. Having said all that, I really enjoyed the anime a lot. I think it's one of the better ones I've watched. The drawings were great throughout and I think they did an amazing job showing Taiga's emotions especially after her accidental confession. To me at least, it was pretty powerful and showed just how much she loved him which made the later episodes that much better to watch. Showing emotions is pretty standard for animes but I dunno, I just felt this was one of the better ones. Music again was superb and on target. The characters including Ami were great and Ami turning a new leaf was amazing to see as well. I'm kinda disappointed and sad that there was no followup anime or at least several OVAs just expanding on the story I guess my question is, what was the timeframe for her leaving and returning? She left for 2 months and came back? We know that Ryuji said that he'll be 18 soon and they can get married so does that mean she left, patched things up with her family and then came back after 2 months in time for his graduation, him turning 18 and she plans to stick around for good now? I figure they'll get back together now but I would like to know your opinion on it and if what I wrote is likely the direction that the anime would've taken had they continued it. Also, what did you think of the ending and the last couple of episodes? You are welcome to write a block of text since I want to know if anyone else had similar thoughts to me and such. Well I overall liked the story, it was nice enough but again my issue with who really likes who, who was just a dumb crush they didn't even care for at the end of the day blah blah. It just seems like the whole story at the beginning was sort of useless outside of working towards Ryuji meeting Taiga, everything else was excluded to the point that it might as well just be the two of them. Specially since at the end the feelings of the other characters did not matter, specially Minori, idk why it bothers me so much that her feelings don't matter as much as Taiga's and I think they should, like you said even after Taiga "confessed" to Ryuji, he was like What? What Confession? I didn't hear anything.... so IMO his feelings for Minori were just as important if he was as indecisive after such a big "confession". That's why I could never see them as anything but siblings, Ryuji never hinted at anything else with Taiga, he always treated her as someone who needed to be taken care of not someone he loved in a romantic way, he never acted shy towards her like he did towards Minori or Taiga towards Kitamaru, and yeah you could say it was because they've become familiar over all the time they spent together but if feelings were there I think we would have received a bigger clue from him and not just Taiga's overreactions during the show or Minori just giving up :|. I think it should have been a matter of Minori AT LEAST "confronting" Ryuji about his feelings towards her to see how he felt, BEFORE that scene where everyone confronts Taiga which yes was a very nice scene and someone might have ended up with watery eyes (almost as emotional for me as the scene with the council president, taiga and kitamaru). It doesn't even seem like she gave it a shot again because I think from the beginning when the rumors of them being a couple started flying around she assumed those 2 were meant to be and she shouldn't disturb that. There was never really a scene that could have helped them become anything more than friends sadly, that sucked for me. It was very obvious from the get go Ami was NEVER going to get a shot, she seemed to be there to just sort of be the voice of reason of all people. She was indeed very nice and I think something should have happened between her and Ryuji but oh well didn't happen, kind of funny how she liked Ryuji since she met him though . I disliked her leaving as well, it came out of nowhere and to be honest I thought it was dumb for Ryuji to be so patient when the note probably did not say much(Now that you mentioned the subs thing I don't remember if mine translated that... lol). I'm not saying he should have said fuck it and go have sex with Ami but idk he seemed too "okay" with her just leaving and it seemed like she didn't explain why she left at all in the note from the look on his face. He should have tried to contact her or talk to her to see what's up something along those lines as to not leave things just like that. It was also very short the way it ended felt like "Oh hai I'm back :D" then I love you and GG. I didn't expected to see like them in the future or anything of all impossible things that was as impossible as Ami getting any, but I would have liked to see them with their friends at the end and not just them being dumb that would have been a much nicer ending. The other thing that bothered me the most is the way Taiga and Ryuji completely over reacted after Ryuji was finally like OH I GUESS I LIKE TAIGA NOW! /SHOCK!, like they didn't even told each other so much as an I love you or I give a shit about you or a kiss and right away LET'S RUN AWAY TO VEGAS AND GET MARRIED RIGHT NAO /BOOKS FLIGHT!, that seemed completely unnecessary and cliche. Their relationship was nowhere near that point but I guess the writers wanted their relationship to seem superior or more advanced to everybody else's and they thought what better way to do that than to make 2 17 year olds get married, it's like they were trying to cram 25 episodes worth of relationship into 2 episodes <.<. That's why I can never take their relationship seriously, it's like they are REALLY dumb kids acting really stupidly, I also like how their parents are totally okay with it.... sigh, I don't think their relationship was handled very well by the writers I don't see why just being a couple wasn't enough. Leaving aside Taiga's daddy issues and what not, I don't think a "husband" would fix any of it. I think a lot of things were mishandled or just left in the air because the writers were lazy or too Taiga biased, it was a nice show but I definitely would not watch it again. I wish they made some extra episodes about Minori or Ami or Kitamaru that would be nice, for a show with some really dumb leads, the other characters really stand out and they were REALLY nice characters, I'll miss those 3 not the other 2 dumbasses lol. Any continuation this show could get in a imaginary world where a 2nd part or extra episodes to this show could happen and the creators aren't too busy with their new anime. I think it would be with the 3 secondary characters and them sort of meeting with Taiga and Ryuji I think that would be nice, but idk how okay Minori is with seeing them together tbh... you saw how brokenhearted she was after she was done putting up a happy face for the couple. Also about the time line thing hmm well they were about to graduate and then they did so probably 2-3 months? couldn't have been longer than that, at first I thought it was but it wouldn't make sense for her to show up like a year later or for them to graduate a year later. I have to say I really liked all the extra characters in the school, they really made the show fun to watch specially with the school show and all that stuff  . I suppose I like a show where there is an even playing field for everyone involved, not just the leads. I'm definitely happy I have WA2 now though lol, looks like it's going to get fun really soon :D, really looking forward to see the incoming shitstorm. hmm I see your point and it was something that I wanted to but forgot to mention in my post. I'm not sure why they left Kitamuru, Minori and Ami's feelings as is by the end of the anime. I think part of it is that with all of them, their love isn't available anymore. Kitamuru's previous love left to America and I think he was on the fence with Taiga. Plus, he's heard her confess to him that she loves Ryuji even though she wanted the feelings gone. I think that was enough for kitamuru to decide to not pursue if he even had the thought. With Minor and Ami, they both loved Ryuji but I think they both realized that Taiga is even more in love and would be more hurt. In Ami's case, she knew that Ryuji didn't have the feelings for her so she started concentrating more on having him recognize Taiga's feelings. So in general, there wasn't much to do for the other characters since they were tied in with Taiga or other characters that have left. Kitamuru will likely get together with Kanuo once he gets to America.
Honestly, I think before that episode, he was realizing that he was in love with her. Based on the art and his reactions which I usually pay close attention to, he was a bit more hesitant and couldn't answer if he loved her or not. If he was confident that he didn't, he could've easily said no. Sounds like he was debating within himself. At least, from what I recall, he was becoming more aware subconsciously that he may love her before her accidental confession. I think more episodes in that period would've helped convey his thoughts more. I mean, he was also spacing out if I recall correctly and thinking about why Taiga was being secretive and trying so hard for his sake when I guess to him, he was mostly frustrated with Minori indirectly rejecting his confession and such. Infact, at one point especially after Minori rejected him, it felt to me that he was giving up on her and it was only due to Taiga that he was still trying. In terms of the accidental confession itself, seems like he was a bit taken that she liked him. Infact, it feels like it was the same case with Minori. He didn't know Taiga had feelings for him since she was always acting the same more or less around him since she was comfortable talking to him so this was a "she has these feelings, what will I do?" moment. He didn't know if Minori liked him either aside from Taiga telling him so before Minori said she did. What I mean is that he started to love Taiga more and more as the show went on to the point where he was really angry that she wasn't coming over and feeling lonely without her and that accidental confession was confirmation to him that she likes him.
Thing is, Minori had the chance to do so at the cabin. Ryuji left to go to the washroom but instead he sat by himself and Minori found him and started talking to him. Her mind was on solving class problems and less so on whether he likes her or not. I think her mind was predetermined at that point even though she cried for losing him later on. Even Ryuji remarks about her odd behaviour in the cabin. Ya, the confrontation scene was really powerful. I umm didn't cry lol but replayed it several times because it felt like it was the second(or most) important scene in the anime. I think Taiga's crying scene was more emotional than Minori's crying scene but they obviously both loved him. For all we know, it's possible that Taiga told Minori about her feelings a long time ago although she said before she was cornered that she didn't want to tell anyone what she said when she was unconscious because it was embarrassing and such. Well, there was the one scene holding the bag but ya, there wasn't a major scene. Thing is, Taiga completely moved away from Ryuji and stopped coming over to help him with Minori but it wasn't enough. I guess to Minori, it was much better and she wanted Taiga to have Ryuji since she felt her love and need for him is stronger.
Well, at one point, back when Ami first faced her stalker, Ryuji did have some feelings but they were superficial and based on looks than anything else. I think she was to act as voice of reason later but originally, she was supposed to be someone who fought with Taiga in regards to Kitamuru and made her feel worse. I think in her case, it was about seeing her change into a better person and having more friends etc... and just being accepted which she was during the anime. Sad that she didn't have a shot and personally, I would've liked Ryuji to have had more close acquaintances to add more to the story instead of mostly Taiga and Minori but then where is the limit? If he was already in love with both Taiga and Minori and didn't know what to do, things would only spiral if Ami was added into it.
You have no idea how pissed I was when she left. For some reason, I thought she left for several episodes but realized it was in the last one only. I mean, right after they got together, what I've been waiting for the whole time, then she leaves a note and goes back to her family. I was really pissed when it happened. I know and understand the reasoning but if she just told him the reasoning in person then she kissed him and left before coming back later, I would've been a lot more fine with that because at least, he wouldn't be as frustrated. I don't think he was "okay" as much as, I have to respect her wish and she trusts me to do so. I think the idea was that they were a couple at that point so going away didn't change that and he was respecting her choice and probably knew that she'll come back to him after she patched things up and such. Thinking about it some more, it was probably also the way to make sure that they stay together. I mean, it was a timeskip so that things are patched up with her family and so when she comes back, they can be together for life so in a way, they were probably avoiding adding more episodes showing how things got fixed and such and just getting to the conclusion of the timeskip(her coming back and meeting him again with the same feelings).
YES! YES! Again, I know what he was going for and I've seen other animes or mangas do the same ending but still, it disappoints me a lot that the last thing the anime closed off with was them just meeting again and instead of having a final kiss and just walking together with everyone cheering them or something, it was him confessing and her hitting him over it in her usual character. It was a good idea to confess because it showed that he's not hesitant anymore and he knows that he loves her and I think that was needed. Likewise, we see her becoming red and from that and her reaction, we know that she still loves him so it was confirmation that their feelings were just as strong as before she left him and they were more comfortable with it(Ryuji) so we know that things will just continue as they were prior to her leaving since things have improved from all aspects(family, less pain etc...). Still, I can't help but feel very disappointed that we got a similar ending to other animes and we never saw any more funny and interesting interactions between them which was one of the things I loved about the anime. I actually hoped he'll do an episode just after the confession with them walking with friends and doing fun stuff just to show things and such. Basically, everyone accepted it and they are together forever and such.
Well to be fair, at that point, to Taiga, Ryuji meant the world to her since she had no family and for Ryuji, Taiga was someone who he grew to love a lot and was really lonely without her. She just meant a lot to him and he didn't want to lose her. Ya, the let's get married was a bit over the top but from their perspective, Taiga's mother came to take her away and the relationship was at risk of disappearing. They probably weren't thinking that we should just talk to them and rather, were thinking that we need to do something quick and that they won't listen. Going the marriage route while was quick and caught even Taiga offguard at the bridge, was a solution to their problems, albeit was temporary since they would've had to face everyone when they came back anyways. I think they could've added more episodes to develop it more as well but I don't agree that it was that undeveloped. They were literally spending every minute of the day together minus at night and their bond was crazy strong by then. The parents, well, we don't know what Taiga's mom's response to the marriage idea but I think Ryuji's mom was ok with it because she knew Taiga and wanted him to be happy. I think they just sped it up partly due to time(episodes) and partly due to them being young and wanting to show that they made a fast decision(marriage). In a way, they were just trying to give an ending so that we, the viewers know what is going to happen next. I don't have a problem with it as long as they actually showed us them being a couple and then getting married instead of what we got which was a quick meeting then anime ended.
I actually can see myself watching it again and again lol although it'll have to be much later since I just finished watching it. I think they were more Taiga biased than lazy tbh although the laziness was apparent at the end with the timeskip although maybe patching things up and such would be boring to watch and animate. I disagree, I think they were all great lol. I think Minori would actually get over the fact that Taiga is with Ryuji with time. For all we know, she might be already over it after the timeskip that the anime had. She was heartbroken but nowhere near what Taiga would've been like had Ryuji and Minori ended up together so from my perspective, Taiga had it rougher and loved Ryuji more than Minori especially when you consider her trying to do everything in her power to get them together even though it was painful to her. The extra characters were also pretty well done and added more to the atmosphere. The part with everyone texting her and such when they knew she withdrew from the school or during the skiing trip etc... I thought graduation was 2-3 months as well but in some toradora wiki, they said she came back a bit over a year later. That sounds way too long, right? I mean they had Christmas and were talking about the classes splitting up and such soon after exams so I figured several months and worst case half a year at best since graduation is usually June and this was probably around January or end of December or so. ya, even playing field is nice but we knew from the start, that the two of them will get together so not surprising. Just wish there were more episodes to watch and expand on what happened after she came back on graduation day. ya, no tldr for you for this either. There's just a lot that I can write but I can't spend a ton of time on it either. Someone who can rant more than I can? NOWAI! All your rants need a TLDR version lol. + Show Spoiler + I can see a lot of your points, specially about the urgency of their "marriage" with Taiga's mom being around and all that stuff. Don't get me wrong I don't hate the show, some things just weren't fleshed out well enough for my liking and so the ending didn't make too much sense for me. I think a more even story and one where we see more of their relationship would be better, even if from the get go we know Minori and Ami had no chance. I JUST FELT TEASED! lol jk ISH. A longer show or maybe some ovas would have done a lot for this show, as it is I didn't like the way it ends, the whole thing up until like episode 21-22 was really nice but I wouldn't want to watch it again because my precious Ami got ignored painful to watch again D:. They should have pulled a Nodame Cantabile and split the show in 2 seasons, I felt Nodame was amazingly well paced and I really liked all the characters, nothing felt sudden or rushed or mishandled. I recommend Nodame, from the get go you know the leads will be together but I'm totally fine with that since I feel nodame did a better job with the pace of the story (the superb music didn't hurt it either), is not like I need for everyone to sleep with each other and there's a mess over who's with who in every show. Just dislike predictability coupled with a so so story. I read someone said that Golden Time is a lot like Tora so maybe you can watch that instead of hoping for anyone to make more content out of Tora lol, it seems the same people are in charge so I would expect more mishandled story and bias . Also I have to say I really loved Ryuji's mom, what a nice lady , I really felt bad that Ryuji was so rude while trying to be "thoughtful" to her mother's needs. I can see what he was going for but her mom was a really hard working lady and a good mom so she should have let her keep doing what she does and not try to be an adult when he obviously has a lot to learn (clue: asking Taiga to marry him before even kissing her ). One thing that ALMOST made me SKIP on the whole show, I was seriously ready to stop watching the show and be like yeah I didn't watch any of that nope I don't need to watch it further lol. Was the pool episode, I was like oh man she's gonna get in the water, one of those fake boobs is gonna float on to the pool and everyone is going to laugh their balls off at poor Taiga D:. I really hate when awkward characters have shit like that happen to them, I've had movies I can't watch because I hate scenes like that, idk what it is but I can't watch that stuff. I decided to push ahead and skipped most of that scene Last night before bed I watched 1 episode of Kimi Nozo and it was really good, I definitely see why somebody told me if I liked WA I would like KN, though they seem very different I can see where he was going with that. It took a lot of willpower not to watch another episode hahaha but I had such an early morning. Oh I forgot to mention, you know one thing that really turned me off about their relationship that just didn't sell it for me? remember the episode about the pool how Taiga was embarrassed about it and so Ryuji made her fake boobs? That isn't something I would see a bf do lol, I mean that seemed more like a sibling/father thing to do, so I always had this image of them being sibling like and I thought it was creepy as fuck when they kissed lol. There were a lot of things like that from Ryuji that didn't seem romantic as opposed to just being nice and family like towards Taiga, so I was always hoping he didn't end up hooking up with his "sister" lol. That was quite long so I put it in spoiler tags as to not take half the forum page lol. Overall good rant exchange lol would rant again. Let me know what shows you watch later on when you make time for it, maybe I've seen it or have time and we'll exchange rants. I honestly never have anyone to gush about this type of anime since my friends either don't have time for them or don't want to watch "sad stuff" lol. Maybe it's just me but I also like these types of animes a lot and usually find myself very disappointed once I finished watching them. Worse is when the ending isn't what you had in mind and it feels too short like in Toradora. Too bad there isn't an anime like Toradora that goes on as long as dbz did. God, I would never have to worry about finding an anime that I like again since you can always rewatch different episodes since you would never be able to remember everything that happened but I think the quality would get really poor once you hit a certain number of episodes. I'm actually not watching a ton of anime right now. Mostly asppregio, tokyo raven although I might drop this and one more I can't remember. I'll probably try to watch more animes like Toradora in the next couple of days after things have calmed down on my end and as long as the anime can be finished(no 100 episode animes otherwise I can't sleep/do work lol). Hahaha oh well, better to have an overly ranting anime friend than none D:, sucks when I finish a show and I'm like I WANT TO TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT THIS AAAAAAAAH! but can't cause' I'm the only one who watched it and makes no sense to anyone else . Last show I watched on a recommendation was Steins; Gate, which was very good but not as good as my friend said it was. I actually stopped watching at one point, got sick of something in it but I picked it up later, has a good ending and ranted plenty to my friend about it :o. I think it's a shame there isn't a really long shoujo type anime around (that I know of) the longest I know it's Clannad because it has 2 seasons, but maybe also Air and Kanon since they are similar and I think made by the same studio? art looks similar. I have yet to finish Kanon which I left on hold centuries ago and watch Clannad After Story, so I would recommend those since they are kind of similar to Tora but with a tad less comedy. Nodame is more comedy than romance but it does have quite a bit of it, it's a wonderful show with awesome music . I love it when a show has outstanding music I find myself listening long after I finished the show, like Cowboy bebop, Nodame and Kids on the slope (which I also recommend, slice of life/comedy/romance type of show) all had amazing music. If you want to take a break from these shows look into Mardock Scramble, I think it's really good and it's short, 3 parts of 1 hour, the graphics are amazing to see in high res and the story is pretty good. reminded me a lot of ghost in the shell. haha yes I agree. I don't have many friends who watch anime that I can rant to especially since there is no guarantee that they have watched it either. I also don't mind ranting lol. Long shoujo would be a dream but I think keeping the anime interesting would be difficult and might explain why we don't see long ones. Thing is, even with Toradora, I think he could've easily had more novels after she comes back at the start of third year and develop it further. I mean he can look at how housing will work now, marriage prep, how friends will see their relationship, how they get along since it's official, etc... Infact, he can even go as far as having a fight between them since couples have fights so they take an episode off or something and another student joins the class who likes Ryuji with Ryuji have some feelings(not a ton) but enough to have him at least take some interest. That can bring the jealous side of Taiga out but since they aren't talking for that small period, it can lead to more development on Ryuji's part and to see if he is really faithful to her. Maybe even have Minori come in and show that she still has feelings for Ryuji through her interactions with him but eventually, she overcomes them. You know, challenges along the way now that they have confessed to each other and such. Basically, aside from the ending which felt too short(they just met again after a long period for God's sake) and the other smaller things that were disappointing, I think not having a continuation and showing us the couple and marriage part is a missed opportunity. The only thought about this is that maybe reception wasn't as great towards the end of the novel/anime so he decided to end it quicker than he anticipated which is why the final couple of episodes are jam packed with developments compared to some earlier episodes. One of them that comes to mind is Taiga going off the ski course and trying to get the bracelet after it flew from Minori's hair due to her fight with Ami. I thought that part was so sweet and heartwarming to see and then Ryuji finding her and bringing her back himself but not taking credit for it because he figured she'll be embarrassed if she knew. The reception would explain why there was no followup and such but again, I'm speculating about this but it sounds plausible to me(haven't checked ratings). That or maybe he got tired of writing the story and felt like he was out of ideas on what else to do since he'll be repeating previous stuff so he moved to Golden Time. I mostly watch action and mech anime although I've been getting more into shoujo animes as long as its well done, there is good comedy like in Toradora and there is good drawing and music to show the love side of the different characters. I think that last part was one of the reasons I loved Toradora. I can visually see how much Taiga loved Ryuji and it's like a spectrum. Compare their last scene together in the last episode after he tells her in person, "I love you" to several episodes prior to that before they go on the field trip. The progression of feelings was great. I mean one of the scenes that comes to mind whenever I think about Toradora is the christmas episode. Her breaking down in and in front of her app and then when she gets cornered to confess and you see the struggle there. Also, Minori crying was powerful although I think the anime should've had more of it to make us feel more sorry for her because in comparison to Taiga's crying scene, I didn't feel as moved. I mean Taiga was literally balling her eyes out and screaming his name and trembling all over as she sat on the ground in the middle of the sidewalk in the cold compared to Minori who sat just crying at a home near Ami. I also can't deny that Taiga turning red especially after she developed feelings for Ryuji was pretty cute to watch I haven't forgotten about your previous rant but I was commenting on this earlier and decided to just finish it now. I will make a rant to your rant in due time lol. Expect it to be bigger and better than before! While I can see why you want more content out of this show, I don't think this show lends itself for it because of how the writers decided to make this show. This is the "And they lived happily ever after" type of show, there isn't really any continuation to that because they didn't plan for it <.<. I know it sucks but tons of shows end like that, it happened to me with White Album 1 which ended kind of meh and THEY DIDN'T EVEN TELL YOU WHO THE GUY ENDS UP WITH AASDFSDFADASD!!! :@ /RAGE so be thankful you know who Ryuji picks because sometimes they don't even tell you that. They go with the "make your own conclusions" bullshit because they can't commit to anything lol. Besides even if they made more content, Ryuji would still be the same dumb ass who couldn't tell Ami pretty much asked him to fuck her... so I doubt he would cheat or ever do anything disrespectful to Taiga, I just assume he'll always be dumb and whipped . I think the show needed at least 2 more episodes and honestly better planning, they should have fleshed out more the relationship between him and minori while yeah it wasn't going anywhere EVER, it still sucks they didn't get a REALLY nice moment and we got a chance to see Minori really just fucking come out with it and see Ryuji's reaction outside of her confessing to him while also giving him away to Taiga. Also explain more about Ryuji's feelings towards Taiga, they felt sudden to me. These are the 2 things that bothered me the most tbh, if they could have expanded on these things I would be a lot happier even if Taiga "wins" at the end. My favorite parts where the cave part that was fun, also the tree thing with the star that was sad how it got broken lol <.< but it was nice that everyone was so joyous about christmas specially Taiga. Also when Minori ran together with Ryuji and they hold hands, best part of the whole show . But the part when they went to buy bathing suits was really funny and I always liked she felt so comfortable with Ryuji to let him in the dressing room and eventually tell him her issues she had with her lack of "confidence" , but that again only made me think of her as a little sister lol. I don't think any normal person would be so honest about showing their insecurities to someone they plan to date, not that early on lol. It also feels like you got cheated out of more episodes lol since it's quite easy to make a couple more episodes of their relationship together. They can easily have the female be more dominant and have her take action instead of like Ami who tried to make him take actions and thus things never worked out. If Ami kept pushing him like she did originally, it's possible that maybe at one point, something would've happened but you make a good point about him not wanting to disrespect Taiga although at this point, he didn't know her feelings and Taiga didn't know his either. I wanted more fleshing out for that as well. They never did get the chance but Minori was never the main character in the story, it was Taiga although to keep the suspense, they should've made Minori have more scenes like the one where she and Ryuji held hands for a brief sec by accident lol. Ya, Minori and Ryuji running together is the best scene because you wanted him to get Minori in the end lol. I thought it was an ok scene The part about the dressing room and bathing suits was interesting from the perspective of her being comfortable to tell him her issues and I see your point but realize that at that point, Ryuji had no feelings as I recall and she was still focused on Kitamuru. At that point, when Kitamuru said that he wants her to win, she had one of her usual speechless, red face expressions so I think at that point, she wasn't concentrating on Ryuji as a potential dating partner. Infact, I think after Ryuji almost drowned, she started to consider her feelings towards him but several episodes down the line. She still liked kitamuru but by the time Christmas rolled around, she was trying to be more independent for Ryuji to get with Minori. I think, not sure but from what I recall, I think that once she started being on her own and such, she realized what he meant to her. Earlier on, they were friends, albeit really close friends because he was helping her with kitamuru and since she only had him as family and being at his place and such. Once they got closer, the feelings developed and she realized them right on Christmas time at which point she broke down, balled her eyes out and ended up calling his name in the dead of night outside her place. Something you forgot is that she is honest. When she ran away after being cornered, she went into work and saw Ryuji there. He said that he knew that even though she ran away, she would come to work since "she's honest" so ya, I think in her case, she showed her insecurities because how close she got to Ryuji by then and she was honest. Infact, I think she saw him as a family member because she was constantly at his place when they were doing the swim suit and then started missing him just like he was missing her when she decided to be independent. I loved the Christmas episode. I think it was the best episode or tied for best with one of the later episodes. Music was great and I find myself humming it as I study lol. Better not be humming during my midterms XD We also finally got confirmation of Taiga's feeling through one of, if not the most powerful scene in the whole anime. We saw Ryuji get rejected indirectly by Minori even though that was likely due to her witnessing Taiga crying for him. In other words, most or tied for most packed developments in one episode. What was your favourite episode? + Show Spoiler + Overall I thought Tora was poorly planned, I don't think some stories got the attention they needed which made them seem sudden or poorly developed and also to expand the story a bit more so we got more than the ending we got. Since we're not getting more episodes and that OVA was a waste of time (I think so) they could have planned what would go in and what wouldn't in what amount of time so we got a more expansive story that explained shit better. Not people just changing their mind at the last second or eloping to vegas with minori's savings just 'cause . I see your point about the whole swim suit thing and the trust she had in Ryuji to tell him her confidence issues about her lack of boobs , BUT she did have that ridiculous reaction when Ryuji was drowning and all that SO I think there was something there even if she was still sort of into Kitamura. At that point I HONESTLY didn't see it as "love" for Ryuji I thought well she's sad because her chef/maid and bff almost drowned and then who would feed her? haha. Seriously, I think he was the nicest to her and in different ways to Minori so I can see why she would need him and be sort of territorial about him and that doesn't necessarily meant she was in love with him, that's what I saw in that scene not OMG I SECRETLY LOVE HIM SO GTFO!. Looking back I do feel kind of clueless about the whole show because I HONESTLY thought Minori was going to end up with Ryuji but after that crying scene it was painfully obvious what was going to happen, and she was already pulling away from Ryuji before that so... if she didn't do a good enough job with that before she would now <.< GG Minori. I agree completely about the hand holding between those 2 TEAM MINORI FOREVER!. I liked the cave part but also the episode, that conversation they had about ghosts and stuff was very nice. I felt it was charged with clues about what she wanted from a bf and love etc, felt like it was a nice way of Minori to tell Ryuji how she felt without really telling him. I think we all know how clueless we can be when girls tell us shit she probably knew that haha, but was also kind of embarrassed to put it straight (I've met girls like that, it's aggravating). Was funny how freaked out Ryuji was when they reversed the prank on him as well, didn't know Minori was up for that kind of stuff which Taiga misled us to believe she wasn't  . I think a lot of animes have that beach vacation episode lol, reminded me of a similar episode in K-ON!. I love that show so much, always cracks me up and I love Yui and Ui too much, they are too much haha. I forgot to mention it before but one of my favorite characters was that bird, that was really funny ¿Inko?... (show's MVP ), I thought that thing died more than once but he came back every episode haha. Very interesting looking as well. Probably Ryuji's side of the show had the funniest characters (not that there were many side characters anyway, excluding their class mates). The show about the wrestling was really fun and sad at the same time, I loved the whole performance was very fun to watch (I thought it was going to be embarrassing and I was ready to skip through it yet again lol). But so freaking heart breaking when Taiga's dad rage quit and didn't show up, what a dick D:, I didn't think he would to be honest I was fooled just like Ryuji and Minori before him. That also I felt brought Minori and Ryuji a bit together no? they sort of bonded a bit there and apologized to each other over their reactions earlier in the episode. Isn't that also when hmm Taiga and Kitamura held hands? that scene was very nice. Seeing Taiga dressed like a little angel was pretty cute as well haha, everyone was like omg too cute/pretty :O!. Also liked those episodes when Kitamura rebelled after he discovered what was going to happen with that girl, was sort of interesting to know all that stuff and finally made sense why he rejected Taiga (WHICH BTW, when she confessed early in the show I totally thought she didn't do it right and that's why he rejected her hahaha, eventually I guess I assumed she did do it properly and he just rejected her 'cause). As I said before that whole fight and what came out of it but I guess that wasn't all he was. The ski resort episode was nice, specially when they were hiding in the closet and listening in on the conversation. I was like GOD MINORI NOT EVEN WHEN YOU'RE CONFRONTED ABOUT IT YOU SPIT IT OUT AND TELL PEOPLE YOU LOVE RYUJI.. DO IT ALREADY!. Perfect chance for Ryuji to hear it and just say it back to her but noooooo silly Minori, Ami was a bit aggravating so that didn't help lol. Besides that I didn't like the episode TOO much, I found the fact that Ryuji just KNEW where Taiga was a little silly and the "rescue people" that were supposedly looking for her didn't even bother to check there apparently... sigh. But I guess we needed that part to "force" Taiga to confess to Ryuji because she's SOO good at that right?. So to summarize: Favourite episodes, the swim suit/swimming competition episode, the beach/cave retreat episode, the wrestling play thing/dick dad/bonding Ryuji and Minori, Rebel Kitamura episodes and also I didn't mention it but the Stalker episode and the episode when we meet Ami, just 'cause she's one of my favourites. I suppose that Christmas episode was really nice but it just put the final nail in the coffin of Minori and Ryuji's relationship so I'm not CRAZY about it except for the nice tree/star part and when Ami and Ryuji have those conversations then. To be honest is late so this mini rant ( compared to yours, god) is all I can think of hahaha, but yeah those were the episodes that are mostly in my mind. Some parts like how they rushed in the last 4-5 episodes(after ski trip) could've been done better, mostly from the perspective of giving us more time between the accidental confession and then them cornering Taiga to try and get her to confess. I will only watch the OVA if it's something good as in expands on story. I loved the comedy of the anime but I don't want an OVA that only focuses on that and doesn't expand further. btw, OVA is from end of anime or during it? I figure it was released during the anime so it was before she even confessed to him and such. First, it wasn't vegas Second, they never eloped Third, it was a last ditch effort to save their relationship but they ended up doing otherwise so you sir, are wrong Who knows what she was thinking. What that scene showed us was that she cared about him a lot. Whether it was as a close friend or a lover doesn't matter imo although I would say it was still close friends in that scene. She realized she'll lose him and got pissed that everyone else was distracted with other stuff. We do see Minori and kitamuru watching and smiling as if they are thinking the same thought of, maybe she likes him or something. Assumption in this case, but having them both there watching her cry for him doesn't bode well for either Minori or kitamuru to end up with Ryuji or Taiga respectively. I think what was happening in your case is you had a preconceived notion of Ryuji and Minori ending up together so you kept that as you watched the show. I read the wikipedia summary before watching so I had an idea that they'll end up together but at certain points, it did seem like maybe, just maybe my initial thought was wrong and he might end up with Minori. The crying scene was major and pretty much helped Minori make up her mind since she saw Taiga in another state where she wasn't there. In other words, Taiga was being completely honest with herself since no one was there to see it. If she saw Minori, I'm sure she would've went back inside or at least tried to make her think it was something else. You know something though? Minori never actually put any effort into getting to know Ryuji. I mean, she's known him from the previous year(or more) but she always acted the same around him. Girls usually give signs if they are even a bit interested. We never saw her flirt or do anything around him that indicated feelings. I think closest is when she was talking to is about ghosts and such. nah, TEAM TAIGA FOREVER! :D Yes, the cave was good. I felt that her talk was pretty much guiding him about her preferences about a boyfriend and in a way, it almost seemed like she was saying that she didn't want one. At least, that's what I remember interpreting her talk as or something. Need to re-watch that part to double check though. ya, he freaked out but so did Ami. I thought maybe Ami was setting something up XD Taiga didn't know that Minori likes those things. We only found out after the fact that it was her way of making sure that people will scare her since she enjoys it lol. Beach vacation episode is pretty popular for whatever reason. I wish we got more developments in it though. All we got was a talk with Minori, Ami being denied as if that didn't happen enough already lol and Taiga realizing that she's fine around Ryuji. Btw, I think the Minori talk and Taiga part were important. Minori, due to knowing what she wanted in a boyfriend or if she wants one and Taiga, since she said she was comfortable around him and stopped herself from going further. Ryuji didn't notice though. I think this was one of the earlier signs that her feelings have been developing towards love for him. She might've had feelings in a previous episode to that but I'm not sure. I wasn't actually watching carefully in regards to her feelings towards him until that point (or after swimming). Inko was mvp at times. Can't say his name but can say a ton of other phrases and sentences lol. I think he was supposed to demonstrate wackiness or something, maybe in regards to Ryuji's life. He died 2-3 times or so then came back but then again, maybe he just fainted Ryuji's side? explain! Wrestling was good, seeing Taiga mess up the words made me feel sorry for her I can only imagine being up on stage then being unable to say something for whatever reason. Probably would be terrifying and maybe a bit embarassing although this is Taiga so she's gotten used to the attention by then. Her father is indeed that. Such a horrible person. I actually agreed that maybe she should get together and tried to mend things but like you and Ryuji, we got deceived. Hard to think otherwise though given the info we have. I thought he'll show up but then he texts Ryuji? I thought he would text Taiga to tell her. Sad excuse for a father not even texting his own daughter Yes, in that episode, when they had the race for the lucky guy, the relationship between Minori and Ryuji got a boost when they held hands and won together. It also fixed their problem after Minori apologized. Also, yes, Taiga and Kitamuru's relationship also advanced at that point. She held hands with him and likely danced. Likely, since the other class members brought everyone together and we never saw if they actually danced or just held hands in the anime. It does make me wonder what kitamuru was thinking though. Can that be seen as him having feelings for her? It appeared that way to me but then again, she was looking like an angel and cute lol so maybe that caused him to act like that? XD I was actually surprised that they had angel wings though. Why not just have the white dress? She didn't look herself in that episode but I guess, that's what the dress was for and what caught everyone including kitamuru's attention. Kitamuru rebellion was ok. I was wondering the reason but figured that it had to do with Kanuo. Didn't realize he had feelings for her but he confirmed that for us. I loved the fact that Taiga tried to get back at her for Kitamuru though. It was touching but also interesting to see kitamuru thank Kanuo for giving him the chance to learn from her and be close friends as he was crying and kneeled forward to show respect. Yes, it made sense why he rejected her but I think he was probably slight hurt from before but it was mostly that he was focused on Kanuo after he previously got rejected. He was a pretty cool guy and ya, funny how he was surrounded by all the ladies XD He was more than just a nerd lol. Ski resort episode was good. Hiding in closet to overhear convos has been done so many times now and I was actually worried they'll be discovered XD I think Minori was just trying to forget about it and move on but Ami was jealous that Ryuji was giving her attention while she wasn't getting any from him so she tried to get her to say she loves him to at least see if she can reciprocate. cmon, episode wasn't that bad, I enjoyed it. We got a stress moment which was needed seeing as how everyone gets along with everyone in the anime. I think Ryuji knew it was her because he heard or saw something, don't remember but it clued them that it was Taiga. I think he saw her since I remember he commented on the towel falling on the ground then she put it back on lol. Surprised that no one noticed her towel on the ground though. As for rescue people, well, we can only assume that it's a big mountain(always are) and that it started recently. Doesn't mean they started right after she left the group. Also, the storm probably reduced visibility. Ryuji only found her because Minori noticed the broken fence then he saw the shining from the gift he got from Minori(brace). Minori was going to go down but he told her to get the rescue people and went himself. Yes, she's not good at confessing. Infact, there is a good chance that she never would've confessed to Ryuji. She had problems confessing to Kitamuru but with Ryuji, she was so focused on getting him with Minori that she ignored her own needs. She even tried to get Kitamuru's blessing to remove her feelings and kept them hidden even though both Ami and Minori caught onto them and tried to get Ryuji(Ami at least) to notice. I think her being close to him probably would've made it harder to confess since if he declined, well, imagine the awkwardness unless Kitamuru where she doesn't walk and hang out with everyday. Good episode selection. I actually forgot a lot of the earlier episodes that I watched :O It's surprising but I guess since I was watching 6-7 a day or so, it's natural not to remember every single thing that happened. cmon, even if it did, that christmas episode aside from another episode later on might be one of the best episodes. It had a ton of emotions. The happiness during the party, good jokes, the singing was fantastic then you got the heavy emotional scene of Taiga crying for Ryuji while Minori watched followed by Minori rejecting Ryuji soon after. It had everything we could've wanted from feelings to developments and even some humour in there with the bear and all. You're looking at this from a bias perspective Yes, I also liked her small tree lol. I would like one of those XD As for favourite, I got used to writing it this way once I came to Canada and I'm used to it now. I just ignore the spelling checks lol. Even though her confessing to Ryuji that she loved him by mistake after she ended up hurting herself and passing out might seem odd, she was almost unconscious so it's quite plausible that such a thing happens although it did seem like a way to get her to confess to him indirectly otherwise he was going to stay oblivious which in itself would've been disappointing. The scene prior to the bridge, the one where they cornered her and wanted her to just flat out tell Ryuji. I honestly wasn't expecting that at all. It was well done imo even if it felt like it came out of nowhere. I mean cmon, I never imagined Minori, Kitamuru and Ami would decide to get her to confess after she was just giving them chocolate although to be fair, it wasn't planned. I liked the fact that Minori called Ryuji out on it and pretty much just told Taiga what happened and tried to get her to just say it. Definitely a good scene. Probably on par or just a bit short of the Christmas one where Taiga breaks down after Ryuji leaves to go to the party and she realizes that he wants to be with him over everything else. The music timing were spot on and it really added to the intensity of both scenes. I'm probably going to miss both of those scenes since I'm done watching it and I haven't seen much scenes that were that powerful in previous animes I've watched Minori crying was definitely sad like you said and her faking wanting to talk to Ami but it would've been even worse if he decided to avoid it. I can't blame her for giving him up tbh. I mean she knew just how hurt and painful it was for Taiga to give Ryuji up for her and Minori also knew what Ryuji meant to her. It wasn't just a, I love him but more like, he's my whole life. From that perspective it makes sense. I didn't think the kissing part was all that bad either and was well timed although Ryuji was a bit timid during it and Taiga was quite relaxed and happy which was good. I think getting him mom to come back to her parents and fix her failure if you can call it that was also a smart idea and wasn't expected. Her message of the star was also a good idea as well, lots of thought put behind it which I liked. What I was really disappointed with were several things: I was disappointed with Ryuji's behaviour after her accidental confession to him several episodes before the ending. The fact that he was still up in the air after all that. I mean he was just ignoring it acting as if it didn't happen. I don't mind some obliviouness but at that point, he's been so oblivious in the anime that he should've realized just how much it was hurting her and how much she loved him. I mean she just told him that it was so painful to her and that it hurts. WTF did he want? Her to confess it to him directly? He should've at least told her that he knew and maybe add his own feelings in so that she doesn't get embarrassed. I was disappointed with the confession at the bridge and that it was never completed. Probably because he wanted to use it for the funny ending and to make those funny texts and since they both knew that they love each other so it wasn't as important but still, since they were together, I think he should've made them complete it because it's the 'first time'. The bridge scene was a bit funny though so it was ok I guess. While I understand wanting to fix things with her family and her gaining new confidence, I was disappointed that she left out of the blue. Nothing was even hinting at it at all prior to that point. She went to get changed and then come for dinner, not go to see her family. She was happy with him, they had just kissed and things were working out well between them so again, out of the blue. I know Ryuji said that they should get her family's blessing but I think she should've tried to talk with her family and straighten things out in some other way and I didn't see the full purpose of her leaving so suddenly and ditching all her friends and Ryuji in particular. I think if that happened to someone, they would be heart broken for a while unless they know their love is coming back. Yes, I'm aware that she wanted to patch things up with her family but still, it just seemed a bit odd especially after she just heard her mom's message of yelling and saying fine, I don't care etc... I think I'm mostly bitter about it since it almost felt like it was a way to pass time and avoid them interacting with each other for a bit until the ending. I also wish that the note that she left was translated to english because in the one I watched, it didn't so I would've liked to know what was written and not Ryuji's translation of "she believes in me" so I can't get her back. Another disappointing thing was that after coming back, we didn't get any more interactions at all. We got her coming back to see him on graduation day and wanting to surprise him. He sees the hair and finds her hiding in the cabinet then finally tells her that he loves her in person to which she turns red and hits him saying its embarrassing. I would've really loved if there was just one more episode. Maybe one more focusing on what happens after. Something like after the hit, they walk out together and everyone flocks around them, congratulates them and such then possibly(possibly since I dunno if this will work well and it might not) a small timeskip of maybe several months or even just have the rest of the episode of them deciding on their future, marriage prep and another one for them getting married and giving their vows to close things off. Having said all that, I really enjoyed the anime a lot. I think it's one of the better ones I've watched. The drawings were great throughout and I think they did an amazing job showing Taiga's emotions especially after her accidental confession. To me at least, it was pretty powerful and showed just how much she loved him which made the later episodes that much better to watch. Showing emotions is pretty standard for animes but I dunno, I just felt this was one of the better ones. Music again was superb and on target. The characters including Ami were great and Ami turning a new leaf was amazing to see as well. I'm kinda disappointed and sad that there was no followup anime or at least several OVAs just expanding on the story I guess my question is, what was the timeframe for her leaving and returning? She left for 2 months and came back? We know that Ryuji said that he'll be 18 soon and they can get married so does that mean she left, patched things up with her family and then came back after 2 months in time for his graduation, him turning 18 and she plans to stick around for good now? I figure they'll get back together now but I would like to know your opinion on it and if what I wrote is likely the direction that the anime would've taken had they continued it. Also, what did you think of the ending and the last couple of episodes? You are welcome to write a block of text since I want to know if anyone else had similar thoughts to me and such. Lol saw that and I was like TLDR Version please . + Show Spoiler +Hmm okay I'll write what I thought of it here since it might be long, now you read my stupidly long rant about it MWAHAHAHAHA /organizing thoughts. Well I overall liked the story, it was nice enough but again my issue with who really likes who, who was just a dumb crush they didn't even care for at the end of the day blah blah. It just seems like the whole story at the beginning was sort of useless outside of working towards Ryuji meeting Taiga, everything else was excluded to the point that it might as well just be the two of them. Specially since at the end the feelings of the other characters did not matter, specially Minori, idk why it bothers me so much that her feelings don't matter as much as Taiga's and I think they should, like you said even after Taiga "confessed" to Ryuji, he was like What? What Confession? I didn't hear anything.... so IMO his feelings for Minori were just as important if he was as indecisive after such a big "confession". That's why I could never see them as anything but siblings, Ryuji never hinted at anything else with Taiga, he always treated her as someone who needed to be taken care of not someone he loved in a romantic way, he never acted shy towards her like he did towards Minori or Taiga towards Kitamaru, and yeah you could say it was because they've become familiar over all the time they spent together but if feelings were there I think we would have received a bigger clue from him and not just Taiga's overreactions during the show or Minori just giving up :|. I think it should have been a matter of Minori AT LEAST "confronting" Ryuji about his feelings towards her to see how he felt, BEFORE that scene where everyone confronts Taiga which yes was a very nice scene and someone might have ended up with watery eyes (almost as emotional for me as the scene with the council president, taiga and kitamaru). It doesn't even seem like she gave it a shot again because I think from the beginning when the rumors of them being a couple started flying around she assumed those 2 were meant to be and she shouldn't disturb that. There was never really a scene that could have helped them become anything more than friends sadly, that sucked for me. It was very obvious from the get go Ami was NEVER going to get a shot, she seemed to be there to just sort of be the voice of reason of all people. She was indeed very nice and I think something should have happened between her and Ryuji but oh well didn't happen, kind of funny how she liked Ryuji since she met him though . I disliked her leaving as well, it came out of nowhere and to be honest I thought it was dumb for Ryuji to be so patient when the note probably did not say much(Now that you mentioned the subs thing I don't remember if mine translated that... lol). I'm not saying he should have said fuck it and go have sex with Ami but idk he seemed too "okay" with her just leaving and it seemed like she didn't explain why she left at all in the note from the look on his face. He should have tried to contact her or talk to her to see what's up something along those lines as to not leave things just like that. It was also very short the way it ended felt like "Oh hai I'm back :D" then I love you and GG. I didn't expected to see like them in the future or anything of all impossible things that was as impossible as Ami getting any, but I would have liked to see them with their friends at the end and not just them being dumb that would have been a much nicer ending. The other thing that bothered me the most is the way Taiga and Ryuji completely over reacted after Ryuji was finally like OH I GUESS I LIKE TAIGA NOW! /SHOCK!, like they didn't even told each other so much as an I love you or I give a shit about you or a kiss and right away LET'S RUN AWAY TO VEGAS AND GET MARRIED RIGHT NAO /BOOKS FLIGHT!, that seemed completely unnecessary and cliche. Their relationship was nowhere near that point but I guess the writers wanted their relationship to seem superior or more advanced to everybody else's and they thought what better way to do that than to make 2 17 year olds get married, it's like they were trying to cram 25 episodes worth of relationship into 2 episodes <.<. That's why I can never take their relationship seriously, it's like they are REALLY dumb kids acting really stupidly, I also like how their parents are totally okay with it.... sigh, I don't think their relationship was handled very well by the writers I don't see why just being a couple wasn't enough. Leaving aside Taiga's daddy issues and what not, I don't think a "husband" would fix any of it. I think a lot of things were mishandled or just left in the air because the writers were lazy or too Taiga biased, it was a nice show but I definitely would not watch it again. I wish they made some extra episodes about Minori or Ami or Kitamaru that would be nice, for a show with some really dumb leads, the other characters really stand out and they were REALLY nice characters, I'll miss those 3 not the other 2 dumbasses lol. Any continuation this show could get in a imaginary world where a 2nd part or extra episodes to this show could happen and the creators aren't too busy with their new anime. I think it would be with the 3 secondary characters and them sort of meeting with Taiga and Ryuji I think that would be nice, but idk how okay Minori is with seeing them together tbh... you saw how brokenhearted she was after she was done putting up a happy face for the couple. Also about the time line thing hmm well they were about to graduate and then they did so probably 2-3 months? couldn't have been longer than that, at first I thought it was but it wouldn't make sense for her to show up like a year later or for them to graduate a year later. I have to say I really liked all the extra characters in the school, they really made the show fun to watch specially with the school show and all that stuff . I suppose I like a show where there is an even playing field for everyone involved, not just the leads. I'm definitely happy I have WA2 now though lol, looks like it's going to get fun really soon :D, really looking forward to see the incoming shitstorm. hmm I see your point and it was something that I wanted to but forgot to mention in my post. I'm not sure why they left Kitamuru, Minori and Ami's feelings as is by the end of the anime. I think part of it is that with all of them, their love isn't available anymore. Kitamuru's previous love left to America and I think he was on the fence with Taiga. Plus, he's heard her confess to him that she loves Ryuji even though she wanted the feelings gone. I think that was enough for kitamuru to decide to not pursue if he even had the thought. With Minor and Ami, they both loved Ryuji but I think they both realized that Taiga is even more in love and would be more hurt. In Ami's case, she knew that Ryuji didn't have the feelings for her so she started concentrating more on having him recognize Taiga's feelings. So in general, there wasn't much to do for the other characters since they were tied in with Taiga or other characters that have left. Kitamuru will likely get together with Kanuo once he gets to America.
Honestly, I think before that episode, he was realizing that he was in love with her. Based on the art and his reactions which I usually pay close attention to, he was a bit more hesitant and couldn't answer if he loved her or not. If he was confident that he didn't, he could've easily said no. Sounds like he was debating within himself. At least, from what I recall, he was becoming more aware subconsciously that he may love her before her accidental confession. I think more episodes in that period would've helped convey his thoughts more. I mean, he was also spacing out if I recall correctly and thinking about why Taiga was being secretive and trying so hard for his sake when I guess to him, he was mostly frustrated with Minori indirectly rejecting his confession and such. Infact, at one point especially after Minori rejected him, it felt to me that he was giving up on her and it was only due to Taiga that he was still trying. In terms of the accidental confession itself, seems like he was a bit taken that she liked him. Infact, it feels like it was the same case with Minori. He didn't know Taiga had feelings for him since she was always acting the same more or less around him since she was comfortable talking to him so this was a "she has these feelings, what will I do?" moment. He didn't know if Minori liked him either aside from Taiga telling him so before Minori said she did. What I mean is that he started to love Taiga more and more as the show went on to the point where he was really angry that she wasn't coming over and feeling lonely without her and that accidental confession was confirmation to him that she likes him.
Thing is, Minori had the chance to do so at the cabin. Ryuji left to go to the washroom but instead he sat by himself and Minori found him and started talking to him. Her mind was on solving class problems and less so on whether he likes her or not. I think her mind was predetermined at that point even though she cried for losing him later on. Even Ryuji remarks about her odd behaviour in the cabin. Ya, the confrontation scene was really powerful. I umm didn't cry lol but replayed it several times because it felt like it was the second(or most) important scene in the anime. I think Taiga's crying scene was more emotional than Minori's crying scene but they obviously both loved him. For all we know, it's possible that Taiga told Minori about her feelings a long time ago although she said before she was cornered that she didn't want to tell anyone what she said when she was unconscious because it was embarrassing and such. Well, there was the one scene holding the bag but ya, there wasn't a major scene. Thing is, Taiga completely moved away from Ryuji and stopped coming over to help him with Minori but it wasn't enough. I guess to Minori, it was much better and she wanted Taiga to have Ryuji since she felt her love and need for him is stronger.
Well, at one point, back when Ami first faced her stalker, Ryuji did have some feelings but they were superficial and based on looks than anything else. I think she was to act as voice of reason later but originally, she was supposed to be someone who fought with Taiga in regards to Kitamuru and made her feel worse. I think in her case, it was about seeing her change into a better person and having more friends etc... and just being accepted which she was during the anime. Sad that she didn't have a shot and personally, I would've liked Ryuji to have had more close acquaintances to add more to the story instead of mostly Taiga and Minori but then where is the limit? If he was already in love with both Taiga and Minori and didn't know what to do, things would only spiral if Ami was added into it.
You have no idea how pissed I was when she left. For some reason, I thought she left for several episodes but realized it was in the last one only. I mean, right after they got together, what I've been waiting for the whole time, then she leaves a note and goes back to her family. I was really pissed when it happened. I know and understand the reasoning but if she just told him the reasoning in person then she kissed him and left before coming back later, I would've been a lot more fine with that because at least, he wouldn't be as frustrated. I don't think he was "okay" as much as, I have to respect her wish and she trusts me to do so. I think the idea was that they were a couple at that point so going away didn't change that and he was respecting her choice and probably knew that she'll come back to him after she patched things up and such. Thinking about it some more, it was probably also the way to make sure that they stay together. I mean, it was a timeskip so that things are patched up with her family and so when she comes back, they can be together for life so in a way, they were probably avoiding adding more episodes showing how things got fixed and such and just getting to the conclusion of the timeskip(her coming back and meeting him again with the same feelings).
YES! YES! Again, I know what he was going for and I've seen other animes or mangas do the same ending but still, it disappoints me a lot that the last thing the anime closed off with was them just meeting again and instead of having a final kiss and just walking together with everyone cheering them or something, it was him confessing and her hitting him over it in her usual character. It was a good idea to confess because it showed that he's not hesitant anymore and he knows that he loves her and I think that was needed. Likewise, we see her becoming red and from that and her reaction, we know that she still loves him so it was confirmation that their feelings were just as strong as before she left him and they were more comfortable with it(Ryuji) so we know that things will just continue as they were prior to her leaving since things have improved from all aspects(family, less pain etc...). Still, I can't help but feel very disappointed that we got a similar ending to other animes and we never saw any more funny and interesting interactions between them which was one of the things I loved about the anime. I actually hoped he'll do an episode just after the confession with them walking with friends and doing fun stuff just to show things and such. Basically, everyone accepted it and they are together forever and such.
Well to be fair, at that point, to Taiga, Ryuji meant the world to her since she had no family and for Ryuji, Taiga was someone who he grew to love a lot and was really lonely without her. She just meant a lot to him and he didn't want to lose her. Ya, the let's get married was a bit over the top but from their perspective, Taiga's mother came to take her away and the relationship was at risk of disappearing. They probably weren't thinking that we should just talk to them and rather, were thinking that we need to do something quick and that they won't listen. Going the marriage route while was quick and caught even Taiga offguard at the bridge, was a solution to their problems, albeit was temporary since they would've had to face everyone when they came back anyways. I think they could've added more episodes to develop it more as well but I don't agree that it was that undeveloped. They were literally spending every minute of the day together minus at night and their bond was crazy strong by then. The parents, well, we don't know what Taiga's mom's response to the marriage idea but I think Ryuji's mom was ok with it because she knew Taiga and wanted him to be happy. I think they just sped it up partly due to time(episodes) and partly due to them being young and wanting to show that they made a fast decision(marriage). In a way, they were just trying to give an ending so that we, the viewers know what is going to happen next. I don't have a problem with it as long as they actually showed us them being a couple and then getting married instead of what we got which was a quick meeting then anime ended.
I actually can see myself watching it again and again lol although it'll have to be much later since I just finished watching it. I think they were more Taiga biased than lazy tbh although the laziness was apparent at the end with the timeskip although maybe patching things up and such would be boring to watch and animate. I disagree, I think they were all great lol. I think Minori would actually get over the fact that Taiga is with Ryuji with time. For all we know, she might be already over it after the timeskip that the anime had. She was heartbroken but nowhere near what Taiga would've been like had Ryuji and Minori ended up together so from my perspective, Taiga had it rougher and loved Ryuji more than Minori especially when you consider her trying to do everything in her power to get them together even though it was painful to her. The extra characters were also pretty well done and added more to the atmosphere. The part with everyone texting her and such when they knew she withdrew from the school or during the skiing trip etc... I thought graduation was 2-3 months as well but in some toradora wiki, they said she came back a bit over a year later. That sounds way too long, right? I mean they had Christmas and were talking about the classes splitting up and such soon after exams so I figured several months and worst case half a year at best since graduation is usually June and this was probably around January or end of December or so. ya, even playing field is nice but we knew from the start, that the two of them will get together so not surprising. Just wish there were more episodes to watch and expand on what happened after she came back on graduation day. ya, no tldr for you for this either. There's just a lot that I can write but I can't spend a ton of time on it either. Someone who can rant more than I can? NOWAI! All your rants need a TLDR version lol. + Show Spoiler + I can see a lot of your points, specially about the urgency of their "marriage" with Taiga's mom being around and all that stuff. Don't get me wrong I don't hate the show, some things just weren't fleshed out well enough for my liking and so the ending didn't make too much sense for me. I think a more even story and one where we see more of their relationship would be better, even if from the get go we know Minori and Ami had no chance. I JUST FELT TEASED! lol jk ISH. A longer show or maybe some ovas would have done a lot for this show, as it is I didn't like the way it ends, the whole thing up until like episode 21-22 was really nice but I wouldn't want to watch it again because my precious Ami got ignored painful to watch again D:. They should have pulled a Nodame Cantabile and split the show in 2 seasons, I felt Nodame was amazingly well paced and I really liked all the characters, nothing felt sudden or rushed or mishandled. I recommend Nodame, from the get go you know the leads will be together but I'm totally fine with that since I feel nodame did a better job with the pace of the story (the superb music didn't hurt it either), is not like I need for everyone to sleep with each other and there's a mess over who's with who in every show. Just dislike predictability coupled with a so so story. I read someone said that Golden Time is a lot like Tora so maybe you can watch that instead of hoping for anyone to make more content out of Tora lol, it seems the same people are in charge so I would expect more mishandled story and bias . Also I have to say I really loved Ryuji's mom, what a nice lady , I really felt bad that Ryuji was so rude while trying to be "thoughtful" to her mother's needs. I can see what he was going for but her mom was a really hard working lady and a good mom so she should have let her keep doing what she does and not try to be an adult when he obviously has a lot to learn (clue: asking Taiga to marry him before even kissing her ). One thing that ALMOST made me SKIP on the whole show, I was seriously ready to stop watching the show and be like yeah I didn't watch any of that nope I don't need to watch it further lol. Was the pool episode, I was like oh man she's gonna get in the water, one of those fake boobs is gonna float on to the pool and everyone is going to laugh their balls off at poor Taiga D:. I really hate when awkward characters have shit like that happen to them, I've had movies I can't watch because I hate scenes like that, idk what it is but I can't watch that stuff. I decided to push ahead and skipped most of that scene Last night before bed I watched 1 episode of Kimi Nozo and it was really good, I definitely see why somebody told me if I liked WA I would like KN, though they seem very different I can see where he was going with that. It took a lot of willpower not to watch another episode hahaha but I had such an early morning. Oh I forgot to mention, you know one thing that really turned me off about their relationship that just didn't sell it for me? remember the episode about the pool how Taiga was embarrassed about it and so Ryuji made her fake boobs? That isn't something I would see a bf do lol, I mean that seemed more like a sibling/father thing to do, so I always had this image of them being sibling like and I thought it was creepy as fuck when they kissed lol. There were a lot of things like that from Ryuji that didn't seem romantic as opposed to just being nice and family like towards Taiga, so I was always hoping he didn't end up hooking up with his "sister" lol. I mean, yes, the part about getting married was quick but again, it was a desperate move to avoid what they saw as inevitable but overall, it wasn't bad. We had them meeting and getting closer in the first 7-8 episodes. Then Taiga slowly starts warming up to Ryuji seeing as he's always there and in a way spoiling her. She tried to help him with Minori and he tried to help her with Kitamuru. As time passed, they got even closer and closer. During the christmas episode and even an episode or two prior to that, he was already having thoughts about it. When I mean thoughts, I don't mean he stood there and keep thinking how cute she looked but he was already questioning his feelings for her. This is notable when the other girl who likes kitamuru tried to get him to admit to liking Taiga since the other girl wanted kitamuru to herself and he wasn't sure how to answer the question. The ending made sense to me but wasn't what I had in mind which is why it pissed me off and I'm still a little ticked when I consider how they decided to end it. I mean, cmon. As a kid I didn't mind stories ending with those kind of endings, but you grow out of that phase. I like concrete endings. In this case, I'm pretty sure that we can guess what the ending is. They are going to stay together since she came back for good now since he just had graduation and they'll likely just do stuff together, get even closer, plan out their future in terms of what they are going to do whether its college or work etc... then get married and probably settle down. Something interesting that I'm not sure you know is that the light novel actually had Taiga coming back in 2 or so months time and not the a bit more than a year thing. I prefer that much much more than the anime one. 2 months is enough time to mend relations with her mother and to keep loving Ryuji. If she came back after a year like in the anime, even though she was still in love with him(red etc...), I would question it more because long distance relationship usually don't work that easily. You need a lot of effort. Maybe they called/msg'd each other a lot, who knows but 2 months sounds like a much more plausible time to mend and maintain her feelings then she can continue her third year with him. Since that's what the author wanted, I'm sticking with 2 months time in terms of her coming back since supposedly, they made the anime without knowing how it ends so 1 year was their guess. Also, her school uniform for the other school could've been a lot better in the anime. Now I'm nitpicking XD Back with the Ami stuff huh? lol. Ya, I can see how you felt teasted but cmon, we knew Ami had no chance from the start. The way she acted at the restaurant was enough to tell Ryuji that he should be careful about hooking up with her especially since he was interested more in Minori and developing feelings for Taiga at that time. Nodame Cantabile sounds like a good anime. I might watch it when I get the chance. yes, predictability can be bad but if done well, it can lead to a great show. cmon, just look at how Taiga changed during Toradora. She still had her moments later on but man, she is almost indistinguishable in some cases. The way she acts after Ryuji after she finally developed and realized her feelings is night and day to her original act and that's something I liked. I think she also looked cuter especially later on whenever she turned a bit red around Ryuji lol. Feels odd to say an anime character looks cute. Is this moe? Yes, golden time. I heard that the same author wrote it so I was hoping that I'll see some form of Taiga and Ryuji in there somewhere. Since they wrote Toradora, only natural that it'll have an effect on Golden Time. Yes, I know that I won't get more Toradora content and it disappoints me. In shows like dbz where there is a million episodes, you're literally tired after you finish watching it and by the end, you feel so much has been done that having no more episodes is probably fine but in shows that are short like Toradora, you feel you need more episodes whether its to expand on certain parts of the show that the episodes didn't(maybe on the mom's side a bit) or to go a bit further after the ending to show a bit more of their new life together now that Taiga fixed her family problems and Ryuji is older and they are together. His mom is nice but I think the problem is that she was trying to lay her own expectations on him or rather her own desires. I think that's why he got pissed off. He has the marks and can go to college but its his choice if he does that. His mom while she has good intentions, should've just told him her thoughts and left him to decide instead of getting mad that he was working and might not go to college. ya, that pool episode. I had the same feeling. It happens in other animes/mangas where if the main character is in the same boat then that mishap happens. In this case, Ryuji was there to help her. I also hate it when awkward things happen to characters and it makes me feel bad for them I still watch the scene though since it's usually not that bad. Kimi Nozo so you mean the 14 episode anime? Only one I could find. Seems interesting from description and I can see myself finishing it in 2 days easy XD About that part that turned you off, keep in mind that at that point, Taiga probably saw Ryuji as a family member and vice versa. That's why they could do so many things that only a brother and sister can do. Here's the thing though. The relationship was developing more and more in the episodes after. That may be the first episode where Taiga makes the realization of how important he is to her even if it's for his kindness and how much he helps her. Here's the other thing: family member doesn't only have to mean siblings or parents but it can mean significant other. Their relationship went from a really close, almost sibling level friendship to romantic partner friendship as time moved on but in the end, that's still considered family lol. I got some sister vibes at times mostly due to how small she is and her behaviour around him since he was spoiling her but even then, it wasn't all that bad. I think making her short or a bit too spoiled around Ryuji might've led you to think that way although the earlier episodes when they get really close and even later episodes didn't help lol. Let's not forget that Ami told him many times to cut out the daddy crap and how he's playing house so she tried to make him take notice that Taiga is not his sibling or his daughter but a very close classmate who may have feelings for him. I feel my view on the main relationship (Taiga and Ryuji) felt a bit stiff in comparison to yours, I guess I saw them in one way and didn't think that should change? like they seemed like REALLY good "siblings" they were very nice to each other and had a very intimate relationship without it being romantic, that to me sounds like at least in real life would get you friend zoned . I don't see how you could escape from that haha, but I guess the anime is totally different in this aspect of life and just means people getting closer and closer is closer regardless of the "type" of relationship it portrays and will eventually lead to romantic feelings. I just still feel creep'd out by them kissing in that final episode, specially with her being so tiny it felt like it was her dad kissing her (shrug) lol. But yes I DO agree with you now that their relationship changed TONS over the course of the show and wasn't just a sibling-esque relationship that just popped and was a romantic one like I had thought of it before, that said I still have my reservations about it . I think most people would agree the show ending kind of sucked, it was very abrupt and it doesn't really tell us much all we can do is imagine their life post-show, which kind of sucks. That was my issue with WA1 lol the ending was even worse than Tora's and was TOO "open to interpretation" and yeah I just want a concise ending from now on from this type of shows lol. But I doubt we'll get many of those? I mean that's the type of show this is, like oh they got together now they'll live happily ever after blah blah stuff. I think a lot of shows end this way, I mean Gurren Lagann sort of ended this way, sure it was really sad and all but you didn't really know what was going to happen to the characters after the show was over, in a concise way. I don't think we'll ever get a show of this type that will be as long as DBZ or One Piece with a million episodes that leave you literally drained and like "I've had enough of this show I can NOT watch again it for a few years after this", shounen is what makes money apparently, it appeals to the biggest demographic which is the 11 to 18 boys and they are probably the majority. And while you're appealing to those I'm sure plenty of 20 year olds will get into it which will keep making money for the show and able to make more episodes, I really wish one day we'll get a shoujo saga that would be nice. For now the only show that I've seen which is REALLY long that isn't a shounen or LoGH is Space Brothers, it's a bit of a drama but not really a romantic one, it's on its 79th episode as of last week and that's a lot of episodes for this type of show. I can see this show go for AT LEAST another 70, it has a pretty long story. So maybe if we get such a long show like Space Brothers a shoujo isn't TOO far off into the future, hopefully I'm not too old at that point to have time to watch it lol. Yeah I always knew that Ami wasn't going to get Ryuji BUT A MAN CAN DREAM! seriously, even if Minori wasn't there he would still be into Taiga or someone else and he wouldn't give it a second thought to his relationship with Ami. I don't think he didn't trust her or saw her as a bitch or anything, I think he very much liked her AS A FRIEND, he pretty much friend zoned poor Ami , his head was too busy with his thoughts about Minori and his relationship with Taiga for him to even consider anyone else and outside of that he's a pretty clueless man lol. Ami would have have to get naked and jump on him for him to get the clue lol. I think it was funny she was a lot nicer and sweeter once she stopped pretending to be a sweet girl to charm everyone lol, that's what made me like her above all the others to be honest. She was pretty honest about everything really except she was tiptoeing around Ryuji because she knew Minori and Taiga were in love with him and that he was a mess of feelings he himself didn't know what to do with, so for that alone she was the nicest character around. Now the show is over and dead basically, unless you want to play the games or whatever to see more of it I doubt we'll be able to get any more. As far as I'm concerned Kitamura left to the US to be with that girl (hope he got her ), Minori kept playing softball and what not and Taiga/Ryuji stayed together and were happily ever after. Ami I have no clue what she did after that lol, it seemed to me she started to dislike modeling and all of that so who knows what she's up to. You know one thing that bothered me A LOT A LOT, was something with Minori, I didn't mention it before because it wasn't like a problem with the anime in itself but a problem overall (though maybe it's just me). I was REALLY mad that she couldn't play baseball, she is such an amazing girl and person with so much energy and motivation that it was a bit heart breaking hearing about how she had to "downgrade" to softball if she wanted to become anything remotely close to a professional player >.<. Made me angry her brother could but she can't even if she probably has more love for the game than anyone else, it still wasn't enough no matter how badly she wanted it because she wasn't a boy. This type of inequality type of problems really bother me and while of course you probably won't ever see girls playing in the MLB, it kind of sucks it made her feel like a second class citizen or something, like she didn't matter or wasn't good enough >.<. Obviously one of those things you can't do anything about, it just is, but it was extremely sad for me to hear about her dream and how it was something that could never happen . Also yes Kimi Nozo is pretty easy to get into and really short, I watched a few episodes the other night and took a lot of willpower to not just marathon the whole thing lol <.<. I watched Lupin last night a couple of episodes and it was awesome, really look forward to finishing it. Will resume Kimi Nozo later but I can tell already shit is going to be messy lol, really sad stuff as well though no tears for the moment on my part . Not sure if you'll want to follow through with it though but hear me out: I feel like we both watched the show with tinted glasses(to different degrees) and had our own expectations. What I think we can do is we can rewatch it together. When we both have time(maybe around Christmas time or mid Nov or so), we can agree to watch x episodes per day then we can take notice of different things that happen. With animes like this especially when we are watching 7+ episodes a day, we are likely to miss a lot of small details and we mostly end up with the big picture. Then we can just discuss anything new we noticed and what it could mean. Since you are seeing the anime in a different light now(based on first part of your post), this could be interesting for you and it's pretty short anyways lol. I plan to watch it again sometime but figured that maybe you might want to partake in it. Of course, I figure you wouldn't lol but wouldn't hurt to try XD

Lupin swings between serious-ish and comedy, imo more on the latter. Femme Fatales are fairly uncommon nowadays, idk why they went out of fashion but I just haven't seen much in the ways of those for a while. Specify what you were saying rather than toss out a general statement on a pedestal like gunpla builder is childish and too mature for my 27yo tastes definitely helps. If you don't want people trolling you, making sure what you are saying isn't obviously inflammatory also helps. Now, I don't really consider the show to be a gundam show. It appeals to gundam watchers in that basically all of the people who'd buy gunpla also watch gundam, but it certainly isn't a part of the core of gundam shows. If we were to look at these more fringe uses of gundam, you'd see that it isn't a recent trend. The culture has long grown to encompass things far beyond that of what UC covered and the themes from it. Now, no one is saying that you should have to like the show, even if most gundam fans are interested for obvious reasons. My favourite show last season was Silver Spoon, I think very few people watched it and I can see why some might dismiss it for being a show about farming and think it's boring. It was certainly overshadowed by Titan which is fine, so a lot of people probably missed it. I really looked into your show and I made an effort, I always make an effort to look into stuff before dismissing them even if I do look at shows of the same genre AND season unfavorably if I already watched and disliked another show. I usually watch a handful of shows at the start of the season, some were just plain bad for me, others were okay but didn't hold my interest, others were great but I didn't feel I wanted to make them for them and will watch later and the rest well I stick with for the season. I never collected anime figures of any show and even less bought stuff to paint, was never something that interested me probably too busy spending a fortune on Magic cards back when I was REALLY into Gundam . I can appreciate how they are both separate entities but since I was never into the subculture of gunpla I can't really relate to this show at all, from an outsider looking in, the SHOW (not the subculture) seems kiddy. I think they are trying to make a cool show about it which is fine, I would be more inclined to try it if it was about like people actually collecting/building them etc without the silly fighting and stuff (but that might not be very fun ), that would be a decent introduction to someone like me who doesn't know anything about it but when you add unrealistic elements to it like the fighting, it turns me off. Lupin is a fine watch, you'll be busy for a while going through it. About Gin no Saji, if you were to have actually followed the thread, you'd probably see that Silver Spoon was very well received here and that most frequent posters enjoyed it greatly. If you could've been like that from the start about Gunpla builders instead of dismissing it in a single sentence, I think you could've saved yourself a lot of trouble. So I don't check the general forums that much, I'm glad to hear people around here liked Gin no Saji but I was talking about the internet in general didn't seem TOO interested in the show not you guys. Seems to have a small following like Space Brothers. I was only "engaged" in the thread because of BigFan and a couple of other people who were actually interesting to talk to about Tora and a couple of other shows. I like gundam but I don't watch EVERYTHING gundam related, there are some stuff I haven't gotten to watch yet or just don't want to. I really like Macross as well but I hated Macross 7, I could not take that show seriously and I dropped it. Sure it was a pretty big Macross show but that doesn't guarantee I will like it.
Nice to know you are enjoying the discussion and not getting tired of my walls of text. I remember I used to write walls on another forum a couple of years back but some members complained to me so I started shortening them until my friends on facebook told me they enjoyed reading long texts since they have background info and such, so I went back to writing walls if the situation asked for it and in this case, we are talking about Toradora so it was the perfect situation! lol.
