I've finally finished all the side stories in Kagetsu Tohya. What a nightmare (lol, what a terrible pun). Good Luck, Ciel-sensei ranged from being weird to being downright creepy. A Story for the Evening was fantastic, but it might just be Akiha fanaticism blinding me. Crimson Moon went so deep into Type-Moon lore (the person) that you pretty much had to know a lot about the Nasuverse beforehand to actually understand any of it. But I guess most people who'd play Kagetsu Tohya in the first place would be pretty big fans of Type-Moon (the company) anyway. Red Demon God was pretty good as well. It was pretty interesting reading what I guess would be the prequel to Tsukihime. It sounds like Nanaya Kiri was a total badass too. Nanako-chan SOS was just odd. I don't even know what to say about Imogirisou. There was practically no point to it at all. Flower of Thanatos... Mollusks. Oh Nasu. Hisui-chan, Inversion Impulse was okay. It took me a while before I remembered why they calling Kohaku by the name of Nanaya though. -_- The Tohno Family Con Game was great. Kohaku at her best. Dawn was okay, I guess. It seems kind of odd to write a fanfic about a remnant of Nero Chaos, but whatever. Drinking, Dreaming Moon was ridiculously depressing. SHIKI is like the most unfortunate character in Tsukihime. Was the girl in the school uniform at the end supposed to be Sacchin? If so, that's a little hilarious that she wasn't seen by Shiki.
Was all that talk about Tsukhime 2 just an incredibly cruel joke? It's almost been a decade...
Is it just me, or are the Railgun specials ridiculously weird? I mean, specials are usually pretty strange, but these seem to be a lot more random than most (AHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHA AHAHAHAHA. Seriously.).

Tohno Family's Con Game - why Kohaku is the most powerful person in the type-moon universe, ever.
The remake for Tsukihime is coming before Tsukihime 2 lol.

Pretty decent list. I didn't watch all of the stuff on the list, neither did I watch trinity blood, but I heard from a friend that it was crap. I highly recommend Haibane Renmei and I recommmend Gungrave.

We should recommend things he will probably like and not things we consider to be good.
Apart from that list, it's difficult to tell. You rated most anime pretty high and some things are contradictory. Certain is that you like anime involving sports, so I would recommend One Outs, and Buzzer Beater to a certain degree.

Yeah my sister said basically the same thing about Haibane Renmei. I have seen a fair bit of sports anime but I don't like sports anime just because it's about sports... I've been exposed to a fair bit of it and like the good ones.
BTW don't go by the ratings too heavily at first I thought I had to rate stuff to add it so I hastily picked a number without really thinking and am too lazy to remove them all. What I dropped or didn't drop is definitely the best way to gauge my interests.
edit: funny how everything recommended by one person has also been suggested for me to skip by another :p

The rest either i didnt like it or never watched it
Btw i started watching Kuroshitsuji and Durarara!! , Both on 2nd episode but i feel like Kuroshitsuji is some BAD shounen version of Hellsing and didnt really like it ... should i keep watching if it gets better or its the same old crap ?
Well about Durarara i must say its really good i will start watching it more when the series finish so i can finish it in 1-2 days

Far as I know, she has no idea of the extent that Kida was screwed with in the past and the degree the conflict from then escalated to. Everything that she is doing this arc seem more out of concern for the individuals Anri and Mikado, not the city. I am not sure if the anime made it clear, but so far as long as Celty actual feel like there is something threatening the city, she acts. This conflict is being very underplayed to her, even with the amount of information she is getting from being on the Dollars mailing list nothing seem to carry much urgency.
It took some pretty extreme circumstances in the latter books (like a potential Shizuo rampage across the city) for her to start acting, and that's after the events from this vol changed her opinions on some things.
I am actually not going to be all like "omg original > anime" here, so far it feels like other than some pacing issues (that the original suffered form as well), the anime is doing quite a good job of getting the original content to us. Hm I didn't get that feeling as I was watching the anime. I expected her just from general conversation to pick up that feeling, but I can see why she wouldn't know what's going on. The focus of the past few episodes haven't been on her at all, so we have no idea what's going on with her situation. I guess I can forgive her a bit then.
micronesia: I'd start with Baccano!, then Haibane, then watch Gungrave and Clannad simultaneously. It'll be fun swinging from comedy/slice of life to serious shit. As for the others, watch in any order you want. You might like Blood+ and Trinity Blood, but I dunno about Beck. I haven't watched Gasaraki.

That makes it different from the shounen sports anime. Anyway, it's really interesting, especially after the first few episodes. Buzzer Beater, compared to this, is pretty standardish. Nothing extraordinary, just basketball with the usual stuff. Season 2 is weaker than the first one without a satisfying end.
Those are the things I meant, when I was talking about contradiction. You dropped Escaflowne and GetBackers(and Mobile Suit Gundam Wing) but watched Naruto, FMA and Hunter x Hunter.
Nah, I think everyone can approve of Baccano!(me too, of course).

All of them(except for one) are shounen and since FMA is somewhat mature I included Mobile Suit Gundam Wing...though, it's still different because of the character development and of course the mecha action. Nevertheless, Naruto, Hunter x Hunter and Escaflowne are very similar, with GetBackers right behind it, followed by FMA. There is no real variety in shounen that's why they are almost the same when it's the same setting.

FMA is just awesome (universal truth). I enjoy the Naruto world and many of the characters for whatever reason, and I really like the world of Hunter x Hunter and a couple of the characters/interactions. Gundam Wing was somewhat entertaining but it got sorta boring and same old thing with the mechas after a while... I rarely like mech anime when they are primarily about mechs... and the storyline was pretty bland/boring otherwise... although it was interesting at first. I didn't so much choose to drop it as just lost interest. Escaflowne I couldn't get into at all. From the very beginning the good guys were just being total idiots and I was screaming at them and was like "f this." Get Backers I didn't find the main characters that interesting and just didn't get into it... the evil eye thing seemed dumb as the way it was implemented from what I recall...

Maybe he doesn't like mecha? Escaflowne is as much of a shoujo as it is a shounen. Get backer has this yaoi undertone throughout (and the manga was much better, anyway). I wouldn't say his list is contradictory.
Edit: oh, there's his explanation.

Hm, did you watch them more recently? I could understand your points when you watched FMA, Naruto and Hunter x Hunter first and some time later(many months, 1-2 years) the other three. The second option would be that you got tired of shounen. I mean, what you said about Escaflowne...the very same could be said about Naruto. Get Backers is part of the shounen-thing too and, I guess, Gundam Wing is more a matter of personal taste. Personally, I dropped FMA after 26 episodes because I was tired of those typical shounen characters and because it was too pseudo-psychological/wanted to be deeper than it actually was.
I'm too tired right now and gonna go to bed. So I will answer later on if there is more room for discussion.

Clannad is jerky for no good reason. Beck is good. Blood+ is also good. Gasaraki I liked, albeit it's a bit slow at times, same for Gungrave.
There's two more GitS you can watch, Full Metal Panic is there too as is Planetes.
(For Micro obv).
