Valvrape is already on my list! I'll probably check out Valvrave, but it doesnt exactly seem -good- at all.
OthersI'll watch are: Daiya no Ace Gingitsune Yozakura Quartet Diabolik Lovers Non Non Biyori Miss Monochrome (confirmed aotyay) Kyousou Giga That fucked up KyoAni show that didn't explain jack shit first ep Teekyuu s3 Kill La Kill Nagi no Asakura Little Busters: Refrain Pupa Basugay s2
I guess by the end of the season I'll have finished maybe 8-9 of them.

I seriously fear for the mental health of people who genuinely enjoy Valvrave as a "great anime" and dont include the reasons "shit's fookin' cray" or "the girls are kinda cute". Or "I browse /a/" but generally that means you'll be having one of the former reasons anyway.

Context: I post on /m/, let that say what it does about my mental state

I liked it because it's fucking stupid, and stupid can be fun at times.

Pleasantly surprised by the good animation from Kyoukai no Kanata. Not sure what direction it'll take though!

If its like any other KyoAni show Ill get invested 8-9 eps into it, then drop it cause I no longer have the perseverance to sit through another minute of it.

You're surprised by good animation from the most consistently good studio currently active in TV animation production.

I never said I was surprised by the studio. What's the point you're trying to make?

I just finished Oreimo s2. I think I understand the author's intent, but I'm still unhappy. :[

No. As in......you're surprised by the animation in Kyoukai no Kanata.....when every show that KyoAni makes, including probably this one, is known for its good animation.

In anime, there are only elitists and plebs.

Valvrave is pure, undiluted garbage. It is probably tge worst anime I forced myself to watch in its entirety in a long while. Aside from some cool mecha scenes, which are way too few btw, there isn't anything good about it. You might as well start talking about Gundam SEED Destiny or Code Geass R2 being "good".

What about IS. That had some mecha in the first and last episode as well, well and inbetween a little.
