A family member came back from Japan and gave me Freedom Gundam model set. Haven't built any mecha models before so this should be interesting and it was given to me before the Freedom Gundam was introduced so that was a slight spoiler.

Akira? Isn't that the quiet OMG CANT LEAVE MY LITTLE ROOM girl? How is she likable? Also, its a testament to Valvrave's quality that they can make a character like THUNDA unlikable. Thats pretty hard to mess up, but they pulled it off.

I have the MG kit, and its very nice, dunno about the HG's quality. At the very least it should be relatively simple to build compared to the MG and RG.

First episode of Kill la Kill was better than I expected, I liked the comedy in it.
