Jesus christ, that was evil. Shinobu just didn't stop. Also really liking the serpent. Even though Sengoku is what of my least favorite girls when not playing twister, that snake is really getting some good dialogue out of her.

Decided to rewatch some eps today, and some of the scenes still hits home. Specifically eps 11-13, best eps of the entire series imo. I havent had a depressive run in anime in a while, and this was a really good rewatch. I somehow feel recharged now that I got it out all today o/ + Show Spoiler +

Uchouten Kazoku was great. In the end, I still don't understand Benten though lol.

About Love Lab, was alright but I couldn't bring myself to really care about anyone not Riko/Maki. But that was in episode 13! Overall, I really liked most of the music, the only one I didn't really like was Kirika's song(s) (which still becomes great once combined with Shirabe's), and Miku's second song (which wasn't in the show).

I was hoping the former would be better as it seemed similar to Usagi Drop, but alas... It was quite mediocre, but at least the OP was catchy as hell. Uchouten Kazoku was great. In the end, I still don't understand Benten though lol. Yeah, what he hell was Benten doing that whole time? lol

Uchouten Kazoku is the definite anime of the season as far as I'm concerned. Just great all around. Uchouten Kazoku: 9 (borderline 10) Servant x Service: 8 Love Lab: 8 Free: 7 Watamote: 7 Danganronpa: 6 and I have to catch up on Gatchaman and Monogatari (which probably is very good). Did anyone watch Gifuu Doudou!!: Kanetsugu to Keiji regularly? I had seen the first 2 and kinda liked it, but then I dropped it out of lack of time, but if it's good (judging from MAL ratings it's not :D), I might watch the whole thing.

Or you can just accept that Benten just does whatever the fuck that she wants. In all honesty, she doesn't really reveal enough about herself for us to get a good guess.

I am very surprised that Uchouten turned out to be better than Gin no Saji, which while still really good, couldn't bring out all the best part of manga. BTW, I took a poke around but seems the highest rated show from this season on MAL is.... + Show Spoiler + High Schoo DxD

Good dialogue. The serpent was interesting though. For me personally bat's surprise Vampire Punch saved the episode. There's just so much constant oomf from her. About her being mean though... I wonder if she was laying claim to her territory, or unconsciously protecting Araragi from snake because she feels something doesn't add up. It's certainly not how she behaved towards bee and phoenix. Now to find out what the fuck Saten bat was about. + Show Spoiler [Railgun S 24] + Umm. Yeah. Maybe I should have just taken other people's advice and stopped Railgun after the Sister's Arc ended. Sure 24 had some nice action moments, but god the logical blackholes and random crap (wtf mecha), not to mention that Misaka speech to glasses. Also Shinobu coat > Shinobu goth maid. On reflection if I wanted to see a SoL Raildex I'd rather see KyoAni-esque 10032 +4. At least character development would be easy enough for JC to handle >.>

BTW, I took a poke around but seems the highest rated show from this season on MAL is.... + Show Spoiler + High Schoo DxD BOOSTO! In all seriousness I like the show as is (has a stupid kind of charm to it). I also am a sucker for anything that brings in heaven/hell mythos. The story itself actually has some interesting elements and characters to it, just they go way overboard on the ecchi for my taste (got better in S2 having a little less) and the exaggerated one-track-mind-perversion of the protag could be scaled back. Plus the dialogue gets very clichey/corney at times. Definitly going to read the LN as some of the summary stuff sounds neat that goes on later. Its a solid show (def not the best of the season though)

All in all, a very enjoyable watch if you're okay with that (the whole thing that is). The story's retarded in everything Raildex related and like I said it's cheesy like crap but Miska/Mini-Misaka/Misaka-clone-action is just too damn good to be ignored. For that reason I really don't mind what most people hate about it: the continously happening sol teaparties and them being "omfg I met a random new girl. BEST FRIENDS FOREVER". It's just worse whenever it's story related and the good parts usually are just the characters being awesome themselves.
