Penguindrum isn't for everyone, of course. I love it a lot but it goes a little overboard with its symbolism. But the presentation and general themes won me over.

Well, Gurren Lagann was pretty great. + Show Spoiler +I thought Viral was one of the beset characters, don't exactly know why though. His "sappy dream" was kind of sad, showed he just longed for a peaceful life, but he's the kind of guy who will probably never get there.

I know why you liked him so much. Its because he is voiced by the couragous god, Nobuyuki Hiyama, who by the shear power of his voice makes any character awesome.

I enjoyed it till it got towards the end. Then all the deepness bored me.
