I'm not usually a lolicon, but it's hard to form connections to older women, they act more distant and.. not sure how to explain It's not like Mugino has opened herself up yet, she just showed some compassion and bloodlust. Frenda, on the other hand.. + Show Spoiler + ![]() ![]()

Well seinen I think just mean it targeted at a more mature audience. It doesnt necessarily have to be bloody or action, it might just convey a deeper or darker tone than it would and is generally more appreciated or better understood by an older audience more than a younger audience. Obviously Grave of the Firefly is pretty damn depressing and is one of Ghibli best work and is a classic. It is also very depressing and I dont think younger audience would find it good or is able to grasp it as well. Ghibli newer work is not terrible but it just doesnt really suit my taste as much since stuff like Ponyo are not what I generally seek but I did find it entertaining when watching it with family. Out of curiosity, does gundam unicorn fits the "mature" audience? On June 08 2013 07:13 solidbebe wrote: If you don't like durarara by episode 12 it's problaby not gonna get a whole lot better. Deadman wonderland started out very interesting and then just turned bad and was left without an ending inb4 read the manga I liked the "gladiator" or arena feeling from Deadman wonderland. The "revolt" came way too early to my liking. I didn't get to see much of the desperate feelings of survival that came with every victors and losers.

Do you guys think that it would be more beneficial for the producers and networks who run major adaptations from manga to have longer breaks between season rather than put out half assed filler plots that everybody seems to hate and would this actually benefit the anime in terms of popularity in the long term?

For anime that I have to wait a week to watch the next episode, I feel cheeted everytime I get a : 1- Filler (like recap) that doesn't bring anything 2- Fanservice episode (AKA the beach episode) that don't contribute to the main story
