a really good anime ! with pretty interesting plot and cool characters :D and also - one of the best opening and ending I've ever heard ! watch it ppl !
I'm just watching Durarara!! and so far I'm around episode 12. Not impressed by any means, but it's not bad either. Just mediocre really, hope it will get better, more interesting and certain characters will stop being annoying. So, don't spoil me anything, please. The second half is weaker than the first. And the story hasn't progressed far enough to reach the good parts.

Wasn't super, but at the same time it was really enjoyable, outside of main character - who of course had to be annoying. Need more seinen titles. If you don't like durarara by episode 12 it's problaby not gonna get a whole lot better. Deadman wonderland started out very interesting and then just turned bad and was left without an ending inb4 read the manga It getting another season i think so that probably why Where'd you hear that. O.o The last thing to get released was that OVA which came out ages ago, and as far as I know, there's been no further announcements.

All I want is raildex harem romcom :<

Persona 4 anime is not bad, although it does repete itself! I have about 8 more episodes to go!

So, just got caught up in the Denpa Kyoushi manga. It's about an OP teacher going around having wacky shenanigans. I definitely think it's worth a read, and it's only 77 or so chapters into its run, and you can sort of feel shit's going to get real soon.

I keep waiting for the overall story to appear though.

I think it's finally starting now. Pretty much everything is set up and now we're seeing a bit of the main branch.

Well, thanks for these posts - guess I will finish Durarara!! anyway, I'm not used to dropping series unless they're really bad. But if that's it, then I don't know why so many people recommend it. Oh well, I always was weird.
And new series of Deadman Wonderland? Last time I checked, they barely sold anything and there's no chance of getting second season. I mean, it would be nice, but I don't think it will happen.
Now that reminded me: Deadman Wonderland got worse in the later episodes, just as Claymore did. Sad truth about animes based on ongoing mangas.
If somebody is interested, here's my MAL: http://myanimelist.net/animelist/OsaX any good recommendations are welcome of course.

Ya I liked P4 anime. Although part of me felt cheated when he had maxed Social Links in 5 minutes when it took me hours in game ahahahahha.
Episode 10 of Hataraku was pretty lolsy.

Durarara isn't a bad series by any means - it just didn't meet the impossibly high standard of Baccano.

You say that like this arc is going to drastically change the story. It's just going to be more of the same. After all, it's neo-GTO.

Wow, that's a lot of 90s anime I haven't thought about in 15 years. Is Princess Mononoke really the only Miyazaki film you've seen? Seems strange that you gave it a 9, have so many other old shows/movies, but don't have the other Ghibli movies on your list.

As strange at it sounds, yeah ^^' Guess I'm not too big fan of Ghibli - I respect them of course, but I don't even feel like watching more stuff from them. I know, heresy, some people are gathering wood for the stake for my burning x].
And as you can imagine, I'm totally out of flow of what's popular or really good in animes that were airing in recent years. Trying to get some to my "to-watch" list, but there's too much of them and I usually don't trust the MAL reviewer at all.

I havent seen alot of the Ghibli stuff and im not really interested. Seems really Disney.

Ghibli stuff have gotten more PG after they started working with Disney. They dont really seem to be venturing out and making anymore slightly mature such as Princess Mononoke or Grave of the Firefly. I find them not as interesting anymore :/

Ah guess I was wrong, I though I read it on an article or something a long time ago but it must of jut been my imagination.

Hm, I'd probably guess that something called "mature anime" would be hentai, haha. Though, "adult anime" can potentially mean an anime targeted towards an older audience. I believe the word "seinen" refers to anime/manga who target male adults (18-35ish). "Shounen" would refer to anime/manga who target teenagers (particularly males). Be careful of the "-ai" though. That refers to same-gender relationships (I believe?).
Mirai Nikki, despite being R+, is still more of a shounen than a seinen. The characters are pretty young, I think. Monster might be a good example of seinen. Hard to say, really. Maybe Ghost In The Shell? I dunno. I'd probably put Kuuchuu Buranko and Aoi Bungaku Series in the "adult anime" genre.

Railgun S is SO good.
^ I hate Index and I really like Misaka. I really like the ITEM team, too. I hope saten and uiharu (and to some extent kuroko) remain non-existant for a while.

I'll recommend you to read the Tsukihime VN. If you gave such a high score to J.C Staff's butchering of it, you'll most likely love the original. Because it's about 200000000 times better.
