If those 250k had been able bodied soldiers with 3DG training, they would've probably been able to retake the outer wall. Starving civilians... not so much.
+ Show Spoiler +I agree with what you wrote. But didn't we also learn from the Recon team leader that they didn't kill anything or didn't progress in finding weakness?

Same with character, the novel focus on 1 main chara and a couple minor ones per vol, so anime from only Vol 1 will not cover most of the side chara. The mood is one of the best part of the novel though, and it's inherited from Owari no Chronicle. Last part... well it's same way in the novel, but there isn't much illu in the novel, so... + Show Spoiler + It's a shame about the pacing because I do like it quite a bit (haven't read LN except for some translated parts, for example the beginning of vol 3). I like that the cast is pretty big, lots of fun characters, so more episodes for the same vols would've been golden. I really don't mind the switches between serious and comedy, and for some reason I really really like Toori. I do prefer him with his clothes on though... Letting tits/bodysuits ruin a show for you is a shame, by the way. As for Nate's mom... yeah. That's taking it too far, lol. Horizon sold very well, didn't it? I do want season 3... appearantly vol 3 is even more massive though, how many episodes do you think would be needed for it to be decently paced? Would 2-cour be enough? As for him rating it a 4, get on Elem's level, he gave it a 2. Given how vol 2 was ~2k pages and vol3 adds up to like 2.4+k, probably 2 cour considering how rushed vol 2 was? They'll probably still try to stuff it into one though.

Plot blurbs don't quite answer my questions, and these charts are limited to current releases which will perhaps be harder for me to source? Please correct me if I have misunderstood. How old is your teacher? If I was teaching and recommending animes I'd probably be thinking of stuff like doraemon, Sazae-san and Crayon Shin-chan. Maybe whatever stuff that gets prime time slots. That said, it is probably easier to just try whatever genre you have interest in and get your ears used to the language, especially at your level.

One can always hope for 2-cour then. As an anime only watcher I'm wondering what I've missed, did they cut anything major or was it more like smaller things missing all the time?

Look back to uta's posts in the past about the matter, but it was a bunch of things. Some of them potentially big. Also the small things are really nerve grating because they are all key small things that define the characters =/

Well, that sucks for sure. As I said, one thing I like is the relatively large cast of characters, so having important things regarding them cut is just a shame. I'm taking a look at the infodump at least, doesn't hurt to know a little more.
Digging up posts, eh? Let's see if the search function can help here, because digging through x pages will be rough, haha.

When they were on Wall Maria which has the biggest area and you could see the wall from everywhere but now that they are inside Wall Rose there' s landscape with mountains and rivers and no walls...
The setting for the first episode was in a specific "node" along Wall Maria - the actual territory covered by Wall Maria was much larger (you see this when they pan over the landscape).

Shouldnt be to hard to find, it was very useful. Atleast for me with no time to do homework on the source.

So glorious.
Isn't there something similar for the Jinsui OP or ED, or is my memory playing tricks on me?
