But if you want shows that actually shows character's psyche: Mushishi Monster Koi Kaze NHK ni Youkoso Haibane Renmei Eve no Jikan Serial Experiments Lain is worth a watch, though I'm not completely sure it fits. Ghost in The Shell movies tends to fit, TV series not as much. | ||

I agree that it doesn't necessarily make something bad, but it's hard to enjoy something that you don't understand. As for whether that's the viewer or the creator's fault, well, I guess it depends. I tend to blame myself for not understanding and then trying to understand what I just watched with the help of my old friend the internet. | ||

I don't mind real Psychological, or rather, I love it just as much as you. But when people call Code Geass, Mirai Nikki, and even second half of Death Note "Psychological", how can you take the term seriously? | ||

Even FLCL kind of fit). | ||
