+ Show Spoiler + Loved the way it all tied up in the end. Loved the way Akane has gone from naive young girl who just wants to help out with the law to a determined woman looking for a way to better society and bring down the sibyl system. I hope there is a second season. A lot of hints seem to point towards that direction, as well as the whole "the story of sibyl will continue" that showed up in the credits. I wouldn't mind it just ending like this though.

No big change in the world, but when we're shown the newbie being introduced, Akane introduces the enforces with more humanity. going to compare pp to gc >.< + Show Spoiler + When I first watched pp, it screamed guilty crown to me. Nice shiny look, interesting concept, supercell music :D, was prepared for worst, but was very surprised. PP had a very well done story, believable, consistant, charaters that also grew (akane). The one weakness was the filler episode, but other than that i enjoyed the philosphical talk/references. My god i wish Guilty Crown was done the way Psychopass was done. + Show Spoiler + i don't think[ there will be season 2 though, things are nicely tied up and there's much room to ruin things with a season 2.

+ Show Spoiler + Pretty much fucking awesome, like one of the best anime I've ever watched, up until the last episode when it suffers from having the absolute worst ending I've ever seen. In fact, it was so bad that I am honestly having trouble thinking of comparably bad endings to it, which is probably because I have not had the displeasure of watching anything, anime or not, with as bad of an ending as this series has, although I've yet to see School Days so I'll see if that can top this. What the fuck.

Deus ex machina Program from Daru.. meh. Would've been cool if they could have solved problems without hax Time Slow and hax help from S;G characters but I guess they did build the robot- oh wait, hax monopoles. /rant

The manga is like any other Im Dal Young manga/manhwa where it starts out very good then begins to taper off after the third-ish story arc. I haven't read it since chapter 96 or something so I could be wrong about the more recent story arc.

Tomino really knows how to almost kill off an entire cast. That was pretty epic. Is ZZ worth watching? Or should I just move on to Char's counterattack or something

Maybe watch the first episode and see the OP to get the joke, but then skip it cause it sucks. Especially if you expected something closer to Zeta.

Or should I just move on to Char's counterattack or something ZZ is a direct sequel to Zeta, and comes before CCA, so you shouldn't skip it to move to CCA. Anyone who tells you otherwise is objectively wrong. Original->Zeta->ZZ->CCA is the intended order, in both production and plot. ZZ isn't nearly as good as Zeta, and is a lot different in style, so be sure you don't have the wrong expectations for it.

For substance: Gundam ZZ is not what I would call a good show, but it does cover some important content in the UC timeline that both CCA and Unicorn draw on to some extent. Still, I have such personal dislike for the show that I can't in good faith recommend it.

+ Show Spoiler + I guess after Rika made that speech, you knew it was going to come at some point, but man, that was done really well. I guess Sena was the most likely one to do it, since Yozora would remain silent for long, Rika was waiting until Kodaka stopped hiding himself, etc. The interactions between the red haired girl and the rest of the club were pretty awesome as well. I found the first season okay, but this is a really good entry into the harem genre.

Akane replaces Ginoza, Ginoza replaces Kougami, new girl replaces Akane and the most interesting possible replacement is Kougami replacing Makishima. Kougami might want to destroy the Sibyl system even if in a different way than Makishima it would still be a crime. Although I'm guessing there won't be a second season since one of those "it's all a big circle imagine the rest" kind of endings. Still it was a very enjoyable series while it lasted. + Show Spoiler [Psycho-Pass 22] + I don't agree. The exchange at the end was a throwback to the beginning of the series, sure, but the characters and their motivations are wholly different. The new girl coming in only serves as a foil to Akane's development over the course of the series. This is further reflected in how they framed the scene, with the girl looking at the dominator in innocence while Akane is standing alongside the enforcers, now a hardened veteran. Akane replaces Ginoza only in position - her outlook on policing is nowhere near as straight-laced as his was. If Ginoza is replacing someone, it's his father, not Kougami. His descent mirrors that of his father, right down to the loss of his arm. The post-credits scene annoyed me. Why would Kougami replace Makishima? What possible reason does Kougami have to destroy the Sibyl System? Existential grief like Makishima? Hell, Makishima himself had a pretty poor reason for being the antagonist in the first place - he was more a plot device than anything else. That in itself is fine, but having Kougami transition into his place is a bit of a stretch. It certainly doesn't help that Kougami isn't really developed in the series. We know basically nothing about him beyond his obsession with Makishima. Overall, I'd say the series did pretty well at developing the characters. The standouts would be Akane and Ginoza. However, the setting is almost completely wasted. The Sibyl system's lack of control over the dominators, for instance, was really odd. They were seemingly only capable of controlling it when the plot called for it. And hyper oats out of nowhere was silly. They had the opportunity to really flesh out this world, but in the end, they just neglected it. Finally, Psycho-Pass could've explored a lot of interesting ideas about human nature and society, but they never really got there. The stuff about people becoming complacent due to the Sibyl system and not recognizing violence, such as when the helmet guys were hitting people, was laughable. And I guess spouting quotes is one way to attempt to be philosophical, but it really comes off as a cheap way to do it.

Yozora doesn't really seem like she knows how she feels about Kodaka yet, while Sena has shown for a while that she feels something for him. There's only like one episode left, so I'm curious what they plan to do here.
