I'm not sure how a real space monster could have embeded itself in Charon between the events of Gunbuster and Diebuster when humans had stopped fighting real aliens after the events of Gunbuster. For some reason I was thinking it's the same space alien Noriko killed not just the same type that somehow reformed. Though I guess they still fought the real space aliens in some form otherwise they would not have needed additional Gunbusters plus the fake space aliens. The ending was a good way to wrap things up and connect the series and was made better since they deliberately never answered when Diebuster took place. + Show Spoiler + I think the easiest explanation would be "they missed a few" at the end of Gunbuster. The one they fought in Diebuster ep4 was actually buried by tons and tons of corpses of the lesser/new "Space Monsters" which eventually got fossilized or something. I watched Gundam Unicorn Episode 6 on PSN earlier today. + Show Spoiler + This episode was mostly build-up for the final clash in Episode 7.... That we gotta wait an entire fucking year for lol. They fights they did have in this episode were cool, but it was mostly Full Frontal/Angelo stomping on grunts. I'm kinda glad the General Revil, the most powerful ship in the entire Federation Fleet, the same class as the former Titan's Flagship, named after one of the Federation's greatest Heroes, wasn't simply destroyed by a single mobile suit.

You might hate if you hate the genre, but honestly that show is really underrated. You might be pleasantly surprised

But it could've been like super good. Fucking Taiga and fucking Rie. Never would I thought I'd be so pissed about animated romance.

Predictable ending comes with the genre.

Pretty much with Elem on this. I actually gave Toradora a 2 because my final impression was so shit. Without Taiga I probably would've given it a 7.
