I don't know why but the first time watching FSN, years ago, I didn't really think too much about it, but now I'm finding it hard to ignore. + Show Spoiler + It was about the fight between Kuzuki (caster's master) and Saber. How is it possible that Kuzuki beat Saber so easily in a one on one fight? Not only that, he did it with his bare fists. I realise that caster used a spell to enhance his fists but I don't think that makes much of a difference. The way he dodges every attack from Saber and just completely destroys her seems a bit absurd. It seems crazy that a normal person can beat a servant, especially one so skilled in close combat. I was thinking doesn't that mean he could also beat lancer and archer is a straight up fight (with no noble phantasm attacks), since it seemed like Saber could.
The next part made even less sense to me. When Shirou fights Kuzuki with Archer's twin swords he seems to do much better than Saber. It looks like he even stands a chance at beating Kuzuki. I'm pretty sure during sword training Shirou can't even touch Saber. I'd be really grateful if someone could give me a detailed explanation to those questions. Honestly I dropped both F/N and F/Z due to bad writing, cliches, and inconsistencies. I believe I gave the former a 2/10, and the latter a 4/10. I'm really not sure why those shows are regarded so highly; I know the VN is excellent, but anime adaptations aren't always good. Curious to know what you consider the "cliches" and "inconsistencies". Especially since both series are well known for having characters that complete subvert or twist the well known archetypes.
Are you serious or are you trolling?

Anything with subversion in it is trolling.

Nyaa. Better subvert the scanning.

Still pretty weird. I just finished the first serie (Fate/illya 1) and it looks like it cater to the fans. That being said, the plot became more serious, I agree.

high school of the dead was ... pretty entertaining if you know how to turn your brain off, and don't mind the random "every 1 min get a panty shot scene" o_o

They dumped him a while ago, the new publisher is a spin off from Media Factory and they got the publishing right from them to continue the series I think.
Kinda like the new art style, looks less generic. Looks like they are going to republish previous vols with new art.

I'm sure I'll get flack and called a noob, but I recently watched FMA:B as my first anime, and was truly pleasently surprised and enthralled by the whole thing. Here's hoping my next adventure goes well too!

It's a very good anime to first watch.

Or start on Fairy Tail

I think Magi is closer to FMA than FT, which is a more traditional shounen (One Piece lite). But not many eps out yet so probably not good for newcomers.

Really liking mondaijitachi praying they don't sexualise it too much and end up ruining it
The ED is pretty amusing too
|
The novel is not sexualized in anyway except picking on kurousagi so I'm not worried about it.
They are still only half way through vol 1 even though anime supposed to be 10 eps. At this rate they probably won't even finish vol 2

Do you know how it's doing in sales? Or are they looking season 2 worthy?
