How can you seriously arrest the survivor of a massacre without any other proofs than him being the sole survivor?? LOL, police y u no make sense! Maybe if you didn't pause and actually bothered to watch, you would realize he was set up. Realized after, but still even if you are set up, assuming your country's justice isn't fully corrupted, you can't just accuse that easily -.- Gotta check it up, but Shiro's voice sounds familiar. That girl from Steins;gate?
Welcome to deadman Wonderlaaaaaand!
Anyways i liked this anime. I tend to like overly violent anime. From memory, gantz was my first dip into overly excessive violet anime. Im not a violent person through.

What's up with Ōkami Kodomo no Ame to Yuki? Is it something new?
Amnesia looks interesting. Might watch chihayafuru if it isnt as boring as the first season. + Show Spoiler +
And what's up with half all of these shows looking the same... just bunch of cute girls
ishida and asakura looks like it could be fun, without having high expectations.

Welcome to the post-2000 anime bubble. It makes good money. It's a natural progression of media, honestly. Something that caters to the majority of audiences, instead of actual ''quality'' shows, just ''entertainment'' shows. Well quality shows will always exist, and when the market becomes over-saturated I believe it will become more common again. It's just a phase.

Welcome to the post-2000 anime bubble.
Sad
But although most of the animes feature similar cute girls, some are still enjoyable because they are more than that!

Yeah. It's not as bad as I made it out to be. I liked chu2 and Sakurasou. Let's just hope that there's still a market for 2deep4u and grimdark anime in japan.

But to be honest, the same can be said of almost everything related to our "culture"
Take books : I enjoy reading books. But it feels saturated too (unless you stay far away from the "best sellers").
Same thing for movies, they seem to keep repeating the same stuffs over and over. (take for example the super-heroes movies : Nolan's Batman was refreshing because it moved away from superhero stereotypes whille being one, but otherwise, I fail to see how Avengers got awarded best movie of 2012 by IGN. It was so generic (good, but still generic).)
And same thing for music... I just can't stand music from the radio, pure garbage!
TLDR : Anime is probably in the same state. You will still find enjoyable stuff, but you will probably see the same themes over and over because its easy money

Oh god, I wish so much for it. Been a while since there was a really really really good psychological anime.

I made a similar point 3 posts above. :') It's just that with the animation quality getting better a new ''theme'' has been found in cute girls doing cute stuff which caters to a big demographic (young male adults?) After the boom is over it will either stay and become recurring or die out.

There is only one reason stuff like Minami-ke and Da Capo are in their 4th and 3rd seasons respectively. There is nothing more to them.
Every so often I dont mind one. Well not Da Capo, thats just shit.

We need to change it up a bit with ugly girl doing cute things or possibly cute girls doing ugly things.

Indeed, it dose change the scene abit. I feel some animes just feel same old after awhile. :/ Ive came across a few animes i swear ive watched before, but i havent. I hate it when that happens. -_-
I haven't got the chance to watch btooom yet, but its on my forever long to watch list. hahaha
Edit: i just read posts above me, it seems people are thinking the same thing. :o

Wondering, do we have any anime that show us the POV of the villain? We get this in books and sometimes the story can be pretty good, although you don't get to see the good guy saving the day, but only the bad guy doing his stuff

There are cute girls doing "ugly" things all the time lol. There are cute girls really doing anything in anime! It's the ugly girl part which is unlikely :/

I've never seen Da Capo. What's wrong with it? I'm guessing I should not even bother watching it or the earlier series

Cute girls doing ugly things sounds pretty common.

It's basically some harem/romance story with the cute girls that people don't like. I believe there is also a VN from which the story is adapted from.
