Anyone else giving it a shot? I know it's based off an otome game (which tend to be overly dramatastic) but I'm a sucker for jidaigeki. Also it's the first time I've seen Okita Souji not depicted as some angel. | ||

Bah TB, seriously we need more things like Gintama where you completely drop any pretension of being a character based on some person. Okita should be a douche though, getting bit tired of all those renditions where he is a bishounen kenshi with all the manners and etiquette of a gentleman from another age. How did they do Hijikata? | ||

It's amazing to see how many people are picking this one up. I mean, that's one of the worst premises ever, next to stuff like Akikan (girls who come out of soda cans). I can't even think of giving it a chance. I understand how Akikan would be entertaining for some, it's a ridiculous premise, but it's not something that kills a potentially fun series right off the bat. Now when I read about B Gata H Kei, I just can't think of anything good coming from it. At all. + Show Spoiler + Although I did pick up chu-bra! and thought it was funny, I haven't watched it in a while though, I hope it didn't turn into garbage. | ||

That is pretty much all I know about him. And being a descendant of a Shinsengumi, I can tell anyone who is interested about my grandfather. Had a depressing demise but semi-interesting tale overall. | ||
