Really? I found the ending quite surprising, though there were hints at in episode 9 when Mari looked at her weirdly, and the character development wasn't bad at all imo. I kinda liked the pacing though some episodes (the one with the robot kid) seemed a bit long and pointless. | ||

Oh boo to you. The art and music is not supposed to be the strong point of the show. I personally loved the way the character models were done - very down to earth and they really struck in the realism of the show. If you thought the point was to have you expecting something going OMG plot wise in every episode, then get off the Shounen and start watching some Slice of Life. I firmly believe that the characters were the strong point of the show. Nothing elaborate, and you could clearly connect to every single one of those people that you met during the course of the show. And on a different note, I found this to be absolutely hilarious: PS - I'm sure the preview image will get you to watch it. | ||

Edit: Anyways, any obscure anime that anyone wants to recommend to me? Been through a lot of the well known stuff. I'm up for any genre as long as its good. | ||

The pictures or the singing voice aren't nearly interesting enough in comparison to the lyrics, I suppose you could find just that amusing enough, but I personally didn't really pay attention till after I went through the singing a few times...in fact I even found the pics kind of disturbing for the most part. | ||
