Highway scene was indeed epic. The best part was Kuroko taking out belts of spikes. Holy shit moment right there. Overall, I'm pretty happy with this arc. DRRR was a mix of good and bad for me, while it was hilarious that + Show Spoiler + Issac and Milia showed up hard to make out anyone of a leadership figure Railgun was slightly annoying, we'll just assuming that all you can you can use for the railgun are the arcade coins, yep. We'll also make it not melt somehow in the end as to make a cool little collision. While it looked neat, it was just annoying when you even just thought a little about it. | ||

+ Show Spoiler [Railgun 24] + the entire esper/nonesper dynamic at the end, but it ended up getting buried beneath a bunch of friendship crap, and the only recognition that Saten got for saving them was "oh good job". Not exactly what I wanted to see :/ Durarara 11 was awesome and brilliant. Watch it ^_^ | ||

Mystlord, that dynamic is better served by using Skill Out members and Touma, gets played up more in Index and the SS for it, rightfully so, Railgun is pretty narrow in its focus. | ||

But... =( =( The first half of the series had me so pumped and smiling all throughout it. I was like, "This is a good show all around, if a little cheesy, but still great". Then it got more cheesy than great. | ||

 EDIT - Granted the manga is doing well, but to me that has less to do with the plot than it has to do with the force of Misaka's personality and Index giving it a good, structured way of developing. | ||
