It will enlighten at the very least. File looks damaged to me, I might go dig up the original version at some point (this isn't Japanese, presumably). For now though, more Bungaku Shoujo, then Usotsuki no Mii-kun to Kowareta Maa-chan per Southlight's recommendations~ Fixed it.

Well the age of consent in Japan is 14 if im not mistaken =\. But anyways, i agree as well. I hate anime like that and it is pretty disgusting I am pretty sure it is 13 actually. It is not a surprise that pedophilia seems to be more accepted in Japan with not only the age consent, but also formerly legal CP and Junior Idols...creepy. Just as a trivial fact, a study of 500 Japanese men was taken and 33% of them said they are interested in lolitas.
To clarify: while the national age of consent is 13, prefecture laws override this and a large majority are 18 (or similar). The whole 13 thing is quoted/used so much in arguments..

Hmm i just finished watching all 26 episodes of Buso Renkin straight last night. Was definitely an enjoyable anime for me. I'll give it a 8.5+ :D. Anyone else seen this?

It felt mediocre to me. I had a much higher expectation going into the series since I liked Rurouni Kenshin a lot.

It took me a while to watch this, i stopped at the first 5 minutes of the anime like 7times. Glad i finally said fuck it and began watching it though. Even though the story wasnt too great, i think the characters made up for it. Idk why, but i enjoyed every character. Had alot more laughs then i expected i would from an action anime.
Basically im simply rating it on my personal preference of enjoyment. Overall, ill prolly give it around a 7, but i recommend people to give it a try :D.
Anyways, i ran out of shit to watch. Gonna spend the next few hours searching

The golden age of anime has ended for me. But here are some you may like:
Last Exile Soul Eater Black Lagoon (dub)
You probably saw all of them but if you have no seen Black Lagoon, you should immediately watch it.

Yeh, i stopped Soul Eater around episode 3 or 4. It seemed too childish for me. Only thing i saw going for it was the action, which i actually enjoyed alot from the first couple episodes but overall.. meh, didnt keep me hooked .
Maybe if i get really bored ill start looking into it again.
Anyways, stumbled across a couple i wrote down and will begin looking into:
Summer Wars Kino's Journey: Land of Sickness Kino's Journey: Life goes on Shin Mazinger Shougeki! Z-Hen Higashi no Eden Air Gear Jigoku Shojo/Hell Girl
Didnt know kino's journey had 2 movies to it, definitely going to check those out. For the other ones i kind of just stumbled upon and lookin at the reviews + rating i decided to give them a try.

Higashi no Eden was really good imo. It seemed a bit derivative of a certain other movie, but other than that, the plot was very well done, and I was pretty excited by it.

I moved on rather quickly from that Anyway, currently working on Moyashimon after aers recommended it to me (and using BSS subs too ). Microbes are cute. Everything else needs serious work though. Still, I watch every show waiting for the microbes to pop up, because I can't get enough of them. One of the few shows that I've watched where I've constantly watched the OP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahU-mkc_zSAI recommend that you get the 720p version of it though. One of the few shows where I will honestly say: sooo cuuuuuute! I'm sorry moe blob fans, but K-On has nothing on this ;O
ROFL. Have you gotten to the gothic maid yet?
Soul Eater was actually pretty good, up till the part where BONES decided to go with their own ending. It's a shounen, so if that's what you mean by childish, then sure. Otherwise, it actually had a pretty awesome cast of adult characters.

Lol, I know that Soul Eater is your typical shoneon with some ecchi moments but it was a breath a fresh air for me when I realized that there is more than harems being made.

@bearbuddy: No, I haven't. Half of it in my first night. I don't think I'll finish it tonight (or will I?), so I might get to it later tonight.

I still have yet to watch Summer Wars, so I can't say anything on that, but Kino's Journey definitely needs to be checked out. Mazinger was another "meh" anime for me, Higashi was wonderful and I can't wait for the 2nd movie, haven't watched Air Gear, Jigoku Shoujo goes NOWHERE until like halfway through the first season, so prepare for a lot of repetitiveness.

Mushishi and Kino's Journey are both amazing. Suggest you watch them both asap. And Summer Wars wasn't really that good. I saw it recently but was put off by the morals of the story. It's more of a 'family movie' than The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

Me watching early episodes: Wow! Amazing art, cool characters, and intriguing premise -- this is going to be great!
Me at the end: So, basically none of the characters develop, the girl is still useless, the plot kinda rambles around and the ending is bizarre. Art is still lovely though :p
It had SO much potential and imo wasted it entirely.

Because the story isn't over? There's two movies iirc that will finish the series.

Summer wars totally reminded me of Digimon the first movie They just took the concept and added a new story to it

Finished Moyashimon in two days.
What did I just watch?
I don't know....
Wha....
MICROBES! I WILL BREW YOU!

I would say Summer Wars is worth a watch. It wasn't anything super good...but I found it entertaining. It had a few good laughs in it...but the main character can be annoying at times.

Ive pretty much been obsessed with romance manga for the last couple weeks, and finishing off this seasons stuff (sorawota, hanamaru, vampire bund etc.)
YURIII MANGAAAA is so good.
Can someone explain why this is mostly aimed at girls? I'm a guy and i absolutely love it (a> i am a massive, soppy, romance person b> girl on girl :o) But i dont understand, its not like yaoi is aimed at guys... So howcome so many girls read it :o Maybe there are that many schoolgirl lesbians in japan or smth?
