I started and finished Kare Kano. What the hell happened after ep 6?? After that, it was mostly a fucking slide show, and some episodes even just ripped drawings straight out of the manga! Oh man, that made me laugh.
It was still pretty good, though. Its focus on characters is something we don't see anymore ):

Ok, so I just recently got finished watching K-ON!, and I found it surprisingly enjoyable. Mostly as a humorous way to relax after work. So I pose a question to you all, fellow anime watchers: what should I watch next? In that particular vein at least. Currently also watching Bakemonogatari, Railgun, and planning to watch Ga-Rei Zero whenever I get around to it.
Something lighthearted and funny would be ideal. The only other anime I've watched that's similar is Lucky Star, which I didn't enjoy as much for whatever reason. It doesn't have to be about music, but good music is always a plus in my book. Preferably with little to no romance as most anime romances just make me cringe if taken too seriously.
Damn what happened to Genshiken season 2!? Wasnt nearly as good as the first season. Still enjoyed it but meh, didnt think it'd drop from awesome to okay

First season of Minami-ke. (only 12 eps) Light hearted and fun. Hayate no Gotoku is also light hearted and fun, however it does have romance.

Ah, I hadn't even considered Hayate to be in the same vein, but I guess it is. I have watched both seasons of Hayate though. It was a pretty good watch, especially season 2. That level/kind of romance is okay. I was more trying to avoid the more heavy-handed high school romance type of anime.

Manabi Straight: Very lighthearted and fun, no romances at all and pretty cute. Hyakko: Crazy humor with crazy characters, not sure if that's what you're looking for, but worth a watch anyway. Also no romances. Oh, and has classical music, works really well with all the crazy humor for some reason.
Oh snap imma have to start looking into that Shigurui. There hasnt been any samurai animes lately, well noteworthy ones. The animation reminds me of Basilisk and a little bit of Kurozuka, OOa so excited now! Must... watch
Just finished Death Note and now I am looking for something else to watch. Anyone have any good titles. Anything funny, FLCL type, or action, or mystery, something like Case Closed. Death Note Review in spoiler
Welcome to the NHK 8/10 An offbeat romance? I typically like that kind rather than mushy or comedy romance. About a guy that lives in his room afraid to go out, and the girl that is obsessed with him. Main story arch is that the two odd balls that try to kill themselves. 9/10 up to the end of the first suicide story arch, but a bit downhill after that with the next story. Not much was done with the conspiracy part of the storyline, just seemed to be there for a bit of flare. Some constancy issues perhaps with the character not wanting to go outside, but seemed to do it quite easily after all. Still, an offbeat romance, intriguing characters at times, good dialogue at times. So pretty enjoyable.
Agent Aika 6/10 Watched this for kicks since I have hardly watched any ecchi. This is the anime of panty shots period. There are probably 50 each episode. Tenticles too of course. Story so-so of course.

watched all anime in that list , do that make me some kind of anime nerd ?
So I'm a big fan of the sports animes, I've seen almost all of them except those with a baseball setting Now I really hate base ball, to me its sooooo boring. However, an anime adaptation of it might be far more entertaining. So my question is: which one of the many base ball ones out there would be the best for somebody who likes sports anime, but doesn't actually like base ball.
