Alas. Well honestly Achiga already scraped by once, to use the same thing for Senriyama to get forced out is going to be really boring. It'd really be best if they get killed here while exposing things about Teru but that isn't happening...so yeah, they'll probably plot hax through again. Real boring. I mean, their entire point is to make Teru less invincible for Kiyosumi in the finals.
Your face when Shindouji makes it through and Kirame gets to unite with her old friends at the middle school mahjong club.
I wish. ;; I choose to take mild comfort in that Achiga will not be able to plothax in finals against Shiratodai, Kiyosumi and + Show Spoiler +
Edit@Cheep: My point wasn't that the series was actually too deep. Just that most people are just dumb.

Quick question, just finished watching the first season of Darker Then Black, absolutely loved it, but does anyone know if they have/had any plans to continue it beyond the second season? Wikipedia and Funimations sites were not being helpful in that regard and I would love to see more of this setting and world.
,Actually does anyone have any recommendations for animes that are similar and good?

There was a second season and an OVA but they both suck.

It was once said that if there was an s3, it would not be based on the same characters. Nothing was really mentioned beyond that.

And before you suggest I click the link at the top, I cant read any titles in the picture so it's rather pointless. Are you looking at the pic in its actual size or in the browser resized version? Even if it is too small in the former zooming in a little is enough for you to read. It doesn't zoom enough for me... I can barely make out the pics while squinting and there are none on that list that I haven't seen that seem appealing to me. Which is why I asked if there are any gems out there. I've seen DtB, Ergo Proxy, Death Note, All the Gundams, Evangelion, Berserk, HxH/HxH 2011, F/SN, F/Z, Mushishi, Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, FLCL, Geass, FMP, FMA, Champloo, Black Lagoon, Heroic Age, GitS, Kenshin, Wolfs Rain, and that's all the pics I really recognize.

All the Gundams, holy shit, I have a peer! What was your favorite? How did you like the overall feel of Victory Gundam? How bout dem Tanks in MS Igloo? Did the design of the Turn A grow on you as you watched more of the show? It looked really good in animation. How did you feel about the change in tone between Zeta Gundam and ZZ Gundam? Wasn't it disappointing how the end of Gundam X got rushed?

Opera has some sick zoom slider function that blows things up real big.

Tari Tari is looks really promising...great characters, great animation, and music. I think this will be one of my favorites this season. Very nice introduction episode too.

Total Eclipse: + Show Spoiler +Intro episode for people who never read my earlier post. Was what I expected, more or less. I liked the MLU-style paintball fight. Was getting chills with the advance of the BETA towards Japan through the episode. Really looking forward to the next episode, though! Can't wait for DESPAIR.
Had to look up what the Zuikaku was. Apparently was the precursor to the Takemikazuchi, which is the most modern Japanese TSF used by the Imperial Guard. The Zuikaku never showed up period in MLU or MLA, unlike the other Japanese TSFs (Gekishin, Fubuki, Shirauni, and Takemikazuchi)
BTW, dunno if I covered this in my previous info-dump post: If any of you are wondering why their all-girls school is training them to use giant robots, + Show Spoiler +its due to the state of the world. All males above the age of 14 have already been conscripted. So its not that its an all-girl school, its that all the guys have already been conscripted. And seeing as how the Humanity is losing, young men being alive is becoming more and more rare (this is touched on briefly in MLU, with Takeru being like the only cadet). Because of this, there is a need to rush girls like the ones featured in this episode out to the battlefield.

PA Works track record thus far: Angel Beats looked very pretty, had a relatively neat world, and a fairly good start. It turned into shit. Hanasaku Iroha began as an sol with a decent premise. It turned into shit. Another started off really promising. It turned into an unintentionally hilarious comedy (aka shit, albeit funny shit).
There is a common pattern here, and it isn't a good one.

Angel Beats is the greatest anime show of all time. OF ALL TIME!
Maybe PA Works will be able to turn it around this time? *crosses fingers*

I honestly liked Hanasaku Iroha. I dunno why, but for some reason it just clicked with me.
MLA:TE was pretty cool, I certainly can't wait for more. Now to more or less wait for SAO at the end of the week.
