The show seems a bit charming although overall the plot is a bit bland and cliche imo Entertaining though minus the 50 unnecessary panty shots :/ . what do you guys think of the show? + Show Spoiler + The manga does seem good at least better than the show (which it should). I hope the manga has it end with a plot twister or just with a good ending considering its quite obvious who Tsukune loves. But then again wtf is gonna happen to the others. | ||

Personally I didn't watch the anime. Saw 2-3 episodes, decided it was too cheesy and read the manga instead (somehow I find it easier to deal with cheese on paper than on screen...). The manga is pretty bland and you KNOW it's just going to be a never ending harem, even if Moka will be the Alpha bitch of the pack. Although in recent months, it got a tad bit more interesting with + Show Spoiler [ manga plot] + the protag getting near-like vampire powers that he can control + Show Spoiler [F/Z 23] + Well the episode was awesome in some ways and bad in others. The battle between Saber and Zerker wasn't what I hoped I'd be. Wanted a bit more action and development but w/e. Kiritsugu vs Kirei was very nice. The choice made by Kiritsugu was also well displayed. Saber being totally in the dark as to what the Grail really is, was kinda funny. She fought all the way to the final round only to be told to destroy the prize she was fighting for all along without getting told the reason. Sad ending, of course as intended. + Show Spoiler [Spice&Wolf] + Well this weekend I decided to take a break from studying for my exams and decided to catch up on some anime. S&W was my poison of choice. The merchant theme was a bit interesting but all the technicalities of the trading were dry and boring. I mostly watched it for the romance and the comedic value. I liked Holo and her interaction with Lawrance. The trouble they kept getting in made for nice stories. Wouldn't mind seeing S3 and S4, which are probably not likely to happen. | ||

Regarding this ep 23, it is disappointing if you read the LN, alot of stuff have been cut out due to time constraint but still very solid ep overall. We will have to wait for the BD to see the complete episode . I think I would enjoy the series alot more if I haven't read the LN. =/ | ||
