what's not there to understand? they are living in a fictional country, that is very strict and deters disorder/crime/weakness with capital punishment and 'obligations'. when someone is an offender for a certain type of crime for the first time they get a badge slapped on that prohibits something related to their offense. the MC is going through the educational system that trains those who oversee such 'criminals', and is also a position of high power in the wheel country's society. just so happens that the three heroines in the story have these obligations and live in the town he's taking his 'final exam to become a special highclass etc'. its supposedly his job to make them into people who have corrected their past behaviors and have thier obligation removed.

The only thing thats really similar is the abandoned kid. Everything else about the show is totally different, as a whole if you count the manga's its much better than Usagi Drop.

i don't know about annoying but the voice sounded awkward I guess the best way to put it is that their voices sounded cheap but Kokoro and Yuzuyu is cute so it's alright.

Favourite route definitely Heaven's Feel followed by Fate, and Unlimited Blade works. Favorite servant has gotta to be Gilgamesh, I mean come on he's your typical over 9000 badass and he does what he pleases >;], Other than that Lancer is pretty cool too, oh and fake Assasin Sasaki Koujiro
