It was pretty funny seeing the comments stream across the top on Nico Nico Douga, because you immediately know when an anime tanked when absolutely no one puts up a number. There were also a few songs I recognized that no one else did. Absolutely no one broke 200 while I was watching.

And I thought TSR was the best FMP... although did didn't really end in a very satisfying way. Also, wasn't Ga Rei Zero 2008? Why wasn't Paradise Lost on that list of songs? *grumble*

I loved TSR, more so than the original series (made by Gonzo) . The ending wasn't bad, but there could definitely have been a better place to pick for the series to stop. TSR was and still is the golden standard for animation; it looked amazing.

Without dipping into the short stories for comedy season 1 style (completely unsuited given TSR's atomshpere) or somehow fitting the next long story in but somehow stretching it for 12 episodes (everything after that can be considered one looooong continuation), TSR didn't really have much in the ways of options. Also, wohoo, Katanagatari raw~

Also, wohoo, Katanagatari raw~ Ah. I'm not a novel reader, so I actually don't know how the series is divided. That makes sense, but it felt slightly awkward given the sense of closure in the first season and even in fumoffu. TSR left a huge question mark, and a long break that might even be permanent, all the while dangling quite a bit of suspense that is still unresolved. Of course, that is not to say KA should have waited for the series to be completed and then animate the whole thing, given the rather large budget needed to animate the series. KA doesn't quite impress visually after they hopped onto the 2-season series with Kanon 2006. Not a good position to be in, I suppose.

They even made the twin boys into lesbian twincest, see how desperate they were? ![]() And Katanagatari looks excellent for the first episode~

You're telling me that Yu Lan and Yu Fan are originally males in the novel?! -_- I should be glad that they're not traps. Well played, KA, well played.

Whereas you yourself aren't doing so bad right up until the numbers. "Mr. Min" Kinda sounds like a supervillain. Then it's 123. Meaning you're generic, there's lots of you. You're not special and you're lame. Therefore you are a lame character.
