Can all of those really be called space opera? Anyway, I'm looking for recommendations for some good space operas. From that list I've seen all except the stuff that ran/began in the 70s + "Irresponsible Captain Tylor". Is that really are there is ? :[ Favorites being LOTGH and seikai no monshou+sequels but i guess it's hopeless to find more of that kind. | ||

LOGH and Crest/Banner series are the best for anime space opera, so if you are looking for stuff better than those two, you are probably out of luck... As far as real space operas go, there really aren't that many out there, especially if you have seen practically everything on that list. Apparently Dougramis supposed to be the "LOGH of mecha", as in, its like LOGH, except with mechs, but I haven't gotten around to watching it. Kaal said that he watched it, saying that it was ok but not as good as LOGH. It isn't a space opera, but if you are looking to something similar, maybe you could check that out? | ||
