Mardock Scramble doesn't even count as an LN under any qualification I think because it doesn't even have an anime cover :< You're not being cynical, a lot of it's true. I go to my local Tora or Animate and I see tons of light novels that pick a moe factors and write as many books that will sell: I.e. Papakiki is wincest, High school DxD is the whole sadistic onee-san thing, etc. It's very rare to come upon real quality, but thanks to all that garbage Japanese kids in the age group targeted for light novels are quick to embrace the good stuff. Nishio Ishin, Haruhi (Yes, the novels are actually quite good)., etc. Mardock Scramble isn't a light novel. It's a REAL novel. It's not so much the anime cover, but the length of the book, the language level and the themes are covered. Mardock Scramble should be considered a real novel, but tbh the anime cover is a much better criteria than to try to separate on the two factors that you've mentioned. Also papakiki isn't wincest at all. EDIT - Oh yeah, by your logic shit like Bento is good. No.
I know papakiki isn't wincest, but that's not what the advertising is leading viewers and prospective readers to believe. The series is promoted as full blown wincest :S.
How does my logic mean bento is good?

What's the difference between 0080, 08MS and unicorn? The latter doesn't know it's a 6 episode OVA. The predecessors had story and characterisation to fit their format. http://myanimelist.net/anime/6336/Mobile_Suit_Gundam_Unicorn Alternative Titles Synonyms: Mobile Suit Gundam UC, Kidou Senshi Gundam Unicorn Japanese: 機動戦士ガンダムUC
Aka "Gundam UC" referring to Unicorn is perfectly acceptable, and people do in fact call it that.
Additionally, you keep saying it is a tool to reboot the MSV line, but there hasn't been a single MSV that appears in Unicorn, that also has gotten a HGUC out of it. Just the old kits from why back when (that you linked to). None of those are new, and none are part of the HGUC line. The HGUC line replaced the old, 'normal' HG line. And there are like a grand total of 3 MSV that got a HGUC entry. Garma's Zaku II, Black Tristar Zaku I, and the Gelgoog Cannon. None of which appeared in Unicorn. Unicorn is getting HGUC entries (obviously, every single gundam ever has been made to sell kits), but why bring MSV into this? If you think that Unicorn is just market MSV models, then why have they not made any for Unicorn? Sounds to me like you are complaining just for the sake of it.
As for the plot armour...I suppose animation budget was well spent compared to Zeonists who spend it all on prototype amphibious MA when they were living like rodents for years, Lolz.
What's the difference between 0080, 08MS and unicorn? The latter doesn't know it's a 6 episode OVA. The predecessors had story and characterisation to fit their format. What am I even reading? Plot armor? This statement makes even less sense than the previous one. Are you suggesting that grunts have plot armor now? Or is you being mad that the MC wins? How is it any fucking different than old, good fights like Amuro vs Char in CCA? Or any battle in Zeta?
And then your second comment... What the fuck, Unicorn doesn't know its a 6 episode OVA? Wtf does that have to do with my point at all??? Did you even read what you are responding to? I wasn't even talking about the story differences between them. Who the fuck was talking about 0080, anyway? Not like Unicorn is any different from those, anyway (Also ignoring that 6 hour long episodes are longer than 12 20ish minute episodes).

Ok you might as well say that since Unicorn came out the entire SEED franchise is getting a boost.
People have been begging for that MG FA Gundam for years, ever since the Gear Book that detailed some of the suits in the original novelization came out, so I don't see how that relates.
As for Zaku High Mobility types... uh, duh. The most popular characters with the most popular suits in the franchise. Johnny Ridden, Ramba Ral, Char and the Black Tri-Stars Zaku's have been constantly selling ever since release, so I don't see your point.
That's 6 and half of those are the same thing. If they really wanted to just cash in on MSV models I don't think they would do it on models from 1994 or 2008. They'd be new.

Advertisement is advertisement, and I think most Japanese readers would know that no Japanese writers have the balls to ever write actual incest for popular entertainment ever :3

OMG last CP episode so good =3 here are some cute screens after the ending song: + Show Spoiler +

+ Show Spoiler [Ano Natsu 03] +Pretty boring episode imo. Only thing I enjoyed was when they almost showed that moe girl's skirt fly up.
Everything is already laid out as to who likes each other etc. Dunno how they can develop the plot from there. Im hoping to see a twist soon enough, cause if things keep going the way they are, I really dont see how I can stay interested.
Unless they decide to shoot a porno or kill each other with a "School Days" fashion, I feel like Im wasting my time with this series.

+ Show Spoiler [Ano Natsu 03] +I thought things were moving pretty fast after episode 2, which pleased me, but episode 3 didn't really move anything at all. I hope this pattern doesn't continue and things move a long quickly because that's what I'd like to see more in otherwise rather cliche series.
I doubt it'll go that way though, we'll get some alien plot before all that happens.
Also very sad that Kanna will get childhood friend-zoned. U-fucking-guu.

I saw that someone actually subbed Fate/Prototype. Kudos. I watched it last December, but I forgot to comment on it. Anyways, here I go:
+ Show Spoiler + Background: I knew from a long time ago that when Nasu first conceived the Fate/Stay Night idea, he had a female protagonist. After some discussion with other Type-Moon staff, it was changed to its current form - with a male lead (i.e. Shirou). One of the reasons was that FSN was intended as an VN and an h-game; a female lead seemed weird.
Anyway, I recall having intensive interests in this OVA. Mostly because I strongly suspected that Fate/Prototype, which is supposedly based on Nasu's original idea (i.e. female lead) of FSN, should have a Tousaka-like female lead. I wouldn't call my thought completely unjustified, since Tousaka does have some striking similarities to Shirou in FSN. This didn't happen, which was hugely disappointing. In my opinion, Tousaka is one of the most popular characters in the Fate franchise. Fate without Tousaka is simply not the same.

Mio is voiced by Asumi Kana. Knew I liked her for a reason ^_^

Another
+ Show Spoiler +This episode finally established what kind of series it is. Before this episode, I constantly battled over myself if anything in Another is in fact supernatural - this episode seems to tell me that.
Yukari's death was totally unexpected, but it also provides me with some information as to the level of the drama of this series.
It was nice of them to actually show Misaki's left eye (unlike certain shows... *cough* Code Geass *cough*)

I just got around to watching Mirai Nikki and MAN IS IT GOOD. Holy crap, was not expecting this :DD
Absolutely love Gasai Yuno, one of the more interesting heroines, but I hate the wimpy male lead, same seiyuu as the main guy from deadmans wonderland, I guess it suits the character
I got your back jack, bitches be crazy

Actually her specialty lies more in neuroscience, though she has shown to be quite the capable physicist and engineer as well.

All hype died with Mirai Nikki in this thread, since everyone read the manga.
Kinda discouraged me to watch it weekly. So instead I watch it in bundles of 3-4.
