It was my thoughts on the upcoming season of anime, with him laughing about me being cynical/pessimistic about most shows.

I lol'd + Show Spoiler + ![]() I don't get it. ![]() He's just incapable of enjoying anything that doesn't have Gundam in it. I actually agree with almost all his predictions though. Although a prediction of "mecha" for mecha is pretty hard to get wrong lol. Nise and Symphogear are the only 2 anime I'm enjoying so far. ZnT for the sake of closure but it's going as expected. Then I have like 3-4 that I'm watching for now and the rest I haven't even tried. yea pretty much this. I gave Symphogear a go but Im not going to continue. And well I dont watch mecha. Genuinely enjoy is probably just at Nise everything else is just "put me to sleep stuff"

+ Show Spoiler + So Im dling Papa no Iukoto to check it out. Edit: Papa no Iukoto: Okay, it was semi-interesting, not bad. Kind of an original plot. The girls are likable. Artwork is pretty good too. As long as they keep the loli fanservice to a minimum I wont have any problem adding this to my list.

Nise didnt get me too excited either, but still liked it, although i'd probably watch it for the art style alone anyway.

God that movie with depressing. I watched that movie when my sister was the same age as the girl in the movie. Don't remember the last time I've cried so much. This movie was recommended to me and I heard it's good. Can't wait for some time to watch it.

As I predicted. This series is moving WAY to fast. I feel it getting rushed really hard. Their entire childhood was explained in less then 3min. Then that fight scene was ended in less then 2 min. I dont really mind the fight scene being short but I think there too many shit that was going on in this episode 1. Explaining what happen during lost christmas, 2. Their evil intention to revive Mana, 3. Guy knew Shu when they were little and he wanted to become strong like how shu was, 4. Guy/Triton dies 5. Mana Dies and we barely know her 6. Incest?! Between Mana and Shu?! (ya...i know she was possessed but still) 7. Who the hell is that dude that can also control voids? 8. Guy in love with Mana? 9. Who and wtf is Inori? 10. Shu got new power?! (New King Mode??) 11. Shu mother might not be shu mother?! (Hinted when Gai said "When your new mother took us to Tokyo") Iono about you guy but I am having trouble processing everything and letting it sink in since the story is jumping here and there and there and there and you get the point. When I found out Triton was Guy I was like OH SHIT. Then I found out OH shit Mana is not Inori but she want Shu babies and wtf incest? Then I found out she a twist Yandere due to the virus and the first one to receive and the virus and then I found out....etc etc So ugh? Is this the final episode? It says on wikipedia that it goes on to 22 episode but the closing song wasnt the usual closing song. It also seems like a decent place to rest for new season.

Yeah but idunno, it just looks like it's gonna run in a similar fashion. I stopped watching Gundam 00 after 2 episodes since I really, really didn't like it by that point but I followed it a bit while it was airing. I hope to god this isn't another typical super-inhumanly-skilled-angsty-teenagers-vs-the-world-and-POLITICALINTRIGUE show, Code Geass was too good of a train wreck anime for that to happen : < Long story short this needs more orenji

In terms of action, it isn't all that different from Code Geass (remember Suzaku lol?), just flashier because OVA+$$$. Also, wasn't Code Geass already one of those "super-inhumanly-skilled-angsty-teenagers-vs-the-world-and-POLITICALINTRIGUE show"? I can think of alot of ways to badmouth Gundam 00 for what it turned out, but it wouldn't be that hah. More like "a bunch of mostly unskilled, personality-less dudes with OP mechs vs the world and POLITICALINTRIGUE" for Gundam 00 lol. Geass had the angsty teenagers covered (with a few exceptions), while Gundam 00 had the boring, shitty characters covered (with a few exceptions).
