Yes if it bugs you about how they treat people who arent Nobles
No in the grander scheme of things.
Theres no fucking way shit wont blow up and the Jap wont get the shit kicked out of him. Thats half the show and a big reason why people enjoy it.

Why ? They havent done anything atrocious, granted they havent done alot. Maybe a few where they just animated but thats harldy anything to do with them. Hell even the stuff they were just animator's is mostly pretty good.

PA Works hasn't exactly done anything notable in a good sense either tbh. Either way, I didn't get to read the novels but the manga didn't turn me off, so maybe I'll take a look.

I really loved 20th century boys and monster, so any kind of psychological thriller type things you know would be appreciated. I'm currently reading fullmetal alchemist and enjoying that as well so things similar to that would be cool as well... but I'll read anything really, and would enjoy reading some comedy (preferably a darker comedy, I find 4koma-esque manga hard to read a lot of the time). Anyone got any suggestions? (http://myanimelist.net/mangalist/bananabm for my manga list) Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Mirai Nikki Umineko no Naku Koro ni Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicle Uh. Also, Hayate no Gotoku but that's not exactly dark. And I suppose I may as well say Death Note.
Thanks for the suggestions. I watched the anime of higurashi and had to drop it half-way through because I just really didn't like it, so might skip those two, but I'll have a look into mirai nikki and tsubasa. Thanks.

Read Mirai Nikki first,
Tsubasa is quite a time investment.

You should watch Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror, it's structured into a few mini-tales about horror legends. Kemonozume also comes to mind, very good and twisted anime. Also Boogiepop Phantom of course.
Also LOL at the Mirai Nikki and Hayata recommendations. Come on guys, you can do better. Also, wait, were you looking solely for manga? This last guy recommended things that wasn't manga so uh whatever.

You can watch anime on your way to work too though, as long as you have a relatively modern phone... And it doesnt stand out as much.

Hey man I can see you've read most of my recommendations. I hope you liked em
Now lets see you would read anything but preferably a darker comedy... then I recommend for you Oyasumi Punpun, Franken Fran, Onani Master Kurosawa and Detroit Metal City for your preferance. DMC is kinda a parody about death metal and music in general but its hilarious.
Some other recommendations from me:
One Piece, HxH, Beck, Bakuman, Slam Dunk from the shounen genre .
Berserker, Battle Royale, Blade of the Immortal, Akumetsu, Gantz, Vagabond, Parasyte, Vinland Saga, Homunculus, Hellsing, Blame!, Holyland, Sun-Ken Rock, Kokou no Hito, Shigurui, REAL, Freesia from the seinen genre.

What people are missing out on:
|
Another Episode 1 + Show Spoiler + Interesting. The art style and the setting some how reminds me alot of Mirai nikki. It also feels very dark and mysterious. Not much to say about the first episode because it seem to be a very mysterious anime and not alot of stuff got revealed. I have high hope that this turns out well.

+ Show Spoiler [Rinne no Lagrange 01] +Uhhhhhhhh. That was as interesting way to end the first episode haha.
So far im liking it I guess. Not a huge fan of "mecha" but the artwork is nice, the MC is likable, the music is alright, and I laughed at a few bits.
The story kinda felt forced though: -pick up girl -im a alien -pilot this robot -german suplex enemy robot -ez
Edit: I forgot there was fanservice too, ya cant forget that...
Just waiting for Ano Natsu to get subbed and maybe Ill complete my list of 4 new animes of the season. YAY!!!

So much GATTAI this ep. Very amusing. The main character is like this from 4 minutes into the episode lol. Cool fights, cute girls, good music, double episode.
Going to be fun trying to figure out which character is a reincarnation of who this show. But other than that, thus far Aquarion EVOL seems fine to watch without having seen the original. Although, you might miss a few things here or there.
|
+ Show Spoiler [Ano Natsu 01] +All I kept thinking about was that this would be like Ano Hana 2.0, but it actually moves on its own pretty quickly. The introduction of the characters was done nicely, they're all very likable, and there was two really cute girls that I liked (although getting used to Anaru's new moe voice took a while)
Towards the end it kinda felt like a clash of To Love Ru, where the hot alien stays in the house and falls in love with him etc. And I was like "ah man, dont ruin it like this". Then it took a turn of the unexpected, and I was like "okay, im hooked, this anime has amazing potential".
Im verrryyy interested to see what happens next, definitely added to my list this season.
