Well according to some ADT regulars Madoka was a pretty well paced anime.
I wasnt watching it while airing--heard of it--just wasnt interested. Then finally the constant praise I saw from Sankaku made me marathon it in one go. It was decent, I thought it was well paced, I wasnt blown away or anything, but I really liked how it all kinda came together in the end. I still feel like I wasnt able to fully appreciate how well done the pacing was cause I didnt watch it week by week like everyone else.

I was actually hope for something different like her turning into a wolf and eating some church people but I was left disappointed.
just acquire book 5/6... those aren't too bad I guess? end of book 5 ( it's not shown in the cartoons ) and book 6 seems okish

Ga-Rei Zero, Usagi Drop (even if it was 11), Mnemosyne is 6 Ova's, but roughly the same length as a 12 epi series as far as pacing and premise (?) requirements are concerned.
I just picked up Ano Hana but it seems decent so far, I like it.

The only thing I'm wondering about it why did they PM Kaal about it... not like he has any power in here. Can't edit the top bar, can't edit the 1st post, can't edit ppl posts.
Mostly likely because he runs the IRC channel that a large portion of us idle.

Also, my mind is completely blown that Kaal/Echo/Uta all like Heroic Age.
WTF dude I was serious about yosuga no sora, and there is clearly 18 rating when you go watch it, shouldn't come by surprise + I don't think there is too much H scenes in it to make it hentai anime. Just compare it to H anime you find from any porn site, wtf. Btw it's not very good for H imo. + Show Spoiler +
e: Many times it's suggested peopel who ask suggestions haven't specified themselves almost at all.
lol, compare the amount of porn in YnS to any non-Hentai anime. Bad porn is still porn.
Yes there is more sex scenes in YnS than non-hentai anime but I've seen alot sex scenes in movies like james bond too, so these are pretty random and didn't bother nor stick me in eye at all. Was sex scenes in requiem for a dream too much to make it porn? For me anime is not different and I don't expect anyone to have certain tastes/understandings either. It's fucking hell OK to not like that anime too. I'm not going to go and argue whether anime, movie, series is good because imo that's stupid, we watch these because we like them (well I do).
There are 4 movies for Gundam Unicorn out atm yes.
~11-13 episode shows include such fun shows as S.E. Lain, Kino no Tabi, and Getter Robo Armageddon. I actually like the length because I'm prone to dropping shows.

I am more surprised that you haven't got fed up with how formulaic they are by then.

It's trending really hard in Japan right now, and I just picked up the comiket limited short story collection. Is anyone here also anticipating it?
Looked interesting but I also have a hard time buying into most hype, we'll see.
Though I must say I am more interested in the fact that nagi is singing ED, lol.

9 episodes into Bakemonogatari strange but oh so good.
Didn't watched a ton till the winter season HunterxHunter - great adaptation so far occasionally feels like what could have been dragged out too two episodes in one c3 - amusing insanity Mirai nikki - have resisted the manga so far, different sort of insanity. horizon - enjoying it, sort of feels like the cast of a star ocean but larger. Haganai - started and ended well not a fan of the middle, found the first few episodes hilarious. Guilty Crown - interesting so far Last exile - It's pretty at least, so far bit disappointed otherwise, hurray for more people showing up from the first show. Madoka - loved it morita-san - slowly watching, reminded me of animaniacs for some reason yuru yuri - was entertaining ano hana - 4 episodes in and love it so far started fractal makes me think ghiblish kids show so far
will likely watch sometime Steins;Gate Hanasaku Iroha decided to watch ano hana first.

So after Spice wolf I tried 1 episode of K-On. So ugh...what good about this anime too lol. I dont understand it....all I get from the first episode is that this series is going to be crammed with tons and tons of cuteness and moe. Does the story ever get interesting?
I am consider dropping it after finding out that season 2 had like 30+ episode. I dont wana blow my time like I did was shana lol. So does the series ever get interesting or should I just be in it for the cuteness?

You've basically explained why K-ON is the best. :D

Its funny how some people find K-ON enoyable and others dont. Its supposedly supposed to target the young female audience with their cuteness. But I converted season 1 for my sister to watch on her iPad and shes not interested at all in the series. She enjoys other moe-crap like Ika Musume and Working.
I thought the series was okay, nothing "omg cute!" or any of the sort. Im still trying to finish season 2, im like 20/26 atm, but I cant bring myself to finish it.
