Well, what are you people looking for? Maybe I just don't mind repetition, but pretty much every single comedy based show out there recycles things. I really don't see what those have that Seitokai doesn't to warrant all these complaints. If we look at Lucky Star, what's half of the comedy about? Konata being an otaku, Hiyori being a fujyoushi, Tsukasa being completely random. Isn't that also pretty repetitive and bland then?

Whether you like it or not I don't particularly care, but the reasoning is most curious to me since I don't see the issues voiced at all.

Anybody else watched asura cryin'? It isn't the best anime but it was a good series overall. I enjoyed it a lot.
|
i downloaded a whole batch torrent of lucky star without realizing it was in english
while waiting for the new one to finish (taking forever for some reason) I completed Lovely Complex and Zan: SZS
|
Hmm i started Toaru Kagaku no Railgun and actually enjoying it alot. Liking it more then the Index series :D. And i just finished Kino's Journey last night as well, awesome series!
By the way anyone else watching Fairy Tail? What are your thoughts on it, i think its pretty good so far and it gots some promise if they dont fuck it up somehow.

Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei is the sort of thing that I remember liking and not remembering why. And then when I go rewatch it to find out, it's just as good as the first time - I feel that I'm missing a ridiculous amount of the humor by only having a year and a half worth of Japanese so far ._. Not to mention not knowing anything about Japan besides from those classes and anime haha.
- I keep rewriting this paragraph but apparently my musings aren't all that deep so I'll just go ahead and say "Yeah I dunno what everyone's deal with not liking Seitokai no Ichizon is really. It's fun to watch, and what else would I look for?" :x

Hellsing Ultimate OVA 7 is out .. FUCK YEA !
I just cant wait for the subs one of my favorite OVA's of all time .
|
Index anime is, for some reason or another, pretty bad. That might have to do with how they have cut out about 50% of the content that's in the 6 volumes they aired thus far, but surely JC Staff knows what they are doing...
About Zetsubou, it isn't too hard to understand even on relatively little Japanese knowledge, it is rather harder to see what issues it is parodying though. Then again, there are plenty of points where it is just completely random, so that isn't a huge issue.

I honestly hate the fiary tale anime. I like the manga but I just can't stand the anime. I only watched one episode of it but who knows. It feels like another one piece/bleach/naruto anime. Its long, bad, slow, and boring.

Reggaeton is a puerto rican style of music that has the SAME DRUM BEAT IN EVERY SINGLE SONG, and generally has synth horns and the same elements put together in slightly different variations. However, the drum beat ALWAYS has the same structure. "Du--ChaDu-CHA!"
some reggaeton artists: "Daddy Yankee" "Tito El Bambino" "Hector Bambino"
I don't appreciate anime. I used to like dragonball Z when I was younger, and even gundam wing, but anime is just horrible to me now. When you put something into a catagory before it's creation (IE: Say or think I'm going to draw some anime pictures today) completely destroys the beauty of the creative process.
In my college classes, many art instructors will say on the very first day "There will be no japanese anime style in this class, so if thats why you are here, I suggest you change your schedule."

I also believe anime is only popular still to forfill the audience that has been created by teens obsessed with fantasy and perfection and cant find it in their own lives. Artists see the money in the business, so they continue to make the crap. Ouch, I know

Hey guys. I just read this on zomganime.
The official Japanese website for the Haruhi Suzumiya anime franchise began streaming a one-minute promotional video for The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya film on Friday, December 18 at 4:23 a.m. Japan Time. (The site “disappears” and deliberately posts a false “The page cannot be found” message in Japanese before the video is streamed.)
The film will open in Japan on February 6.
Trailer can be found at:

I think all of us wants to be part of this "fantasy world"

Anime isn't a genre of a show it just means it was animated in japan
saying all anime are the same is one of the fucking dumbest things i've ever heard in my life. I mean a show like K-On! couldn't be more different from a show like Monster or Black Lagoon.
but i guess if you just watch whatevers on cartoon network or in shonen jump you wouldn't know

It got posted quite a few pages ago, Disappearance trailer, I believe. The fake 404 has been there for ages, and when you look at the source code there is another little Easter egg + Show Spoiler [novel] +that it has been coded by Yuki N. . First time they pulled the act was iirc in 2007 or so where they uploaded some stuff about Disappearance on the 18th.

Edited because I suck with time.
