I am more amazed that you aren't pessimistic already. To me it is kind of sad that a show is objectively alright but ends up in the meh tier in the grand scheme of things because of a relative lack of impact. I almost wish that they'd stick to one cliche and push it to the logical extreme rather than trying to avoid alienating segments of its audience and creating this really diluted work.
Considering the conditions imposed on the usage of the pen, I'd say that they'll be going back to school very soon. They aren't showing his classmates randomly for no reason.

Make Kallen less retarded and put her in a wheelchair, she is still Kallen. Thanks to Inori being CC without all the interesting perks to personality though, she is the go-to character of the series. Not saying much sadly.

Yeah, considering Ayase hasn't really had a conversation since that Shu-must-prove-himself episode. There probably will be more school scenes if you consider that the OP focuses on several of the characters from school, and that Shu needs to settle things with his "friend".

Cliches don't really bother me, unless its a bad cliche. Mechs+Hot Girls is enough to keep me interested, and as long as the show doesn't outright troll me like Geass did, I don't see myself being negative about it.

Honestly, I think Ayase is the most interesting character of GC so far, even if she has only had a little screen time. That conversation she had with Shu in ep5 didn't make me think too much better of Shu (other than hoping he'd man up a little after that, which he did but really only for the rest of the episode), but it did give me some hope that she'll end up being a more engaging version of Kallen.
And I did kinda like Kallen, in a way.

So if Ayase is Kallen + more character development then she'll probably make the show worth it for me. Wont be stellar, but I'll enjoy it to the end.
Hopefully they'll stop messing around with the huge potential this show has and push it in the right direction.

My problem isn't with how cliche it is, but rather at how wimpy they are with the cliches. Switching rapidly from one to another without actually developing anything. As a result, the whole thing just feels very much so diluted and hard to give a fuck about.

Is this girl into anime and stuff? If she isn't, like Vaelone said, just say it's an indie side scrolling action game, a pretty good one at that. If she is into anime, you're fine.

Don't some Wing Zero Custom models have hardpoints for the rifles behind the torso?? While I only wish I had a Wing Zero Custom model, I kind of remember seeing ones with the rifles attached to the back of the torso. It could all be in my imagination though. =\

wing zero custom has subwings kind of like a shell, its not entirely wings but you get it

maybe some of you guys can help me. I am looking for good movies with Matsu Takako in them. I just saw Confessions ( Kokuhaku ) and really liked her performance. So if any of you guys know some other movies with her that are good and were subbed or maybe translated ( though sub is probably better ) I'd be glad if you could tell me.

Uh, did you Google her name, find her wiki page that lists all the movies she's been in, and then tried Googling for subs of those movies??
