I happen to have watched some of her movies. April story is a nice artistic film. she was cute then. hero is a good movie, but you have to watch the TV series first to know the relationship of the characters(worth watching anyway as it's the record holder for japanese TV rating), K-20 is pretty boring, nothing special.

Well, one obstacle is that all my guy friends think I'm a pedophile because I like the Madoka anime and they link magical girls to fetish to pedophilia to otaku. I'm not sure how to get rid of that perception though.
