I recently watched Rurouni Kenshin OVA 1 - Trust and Betrayal I was hoping to find a similar anime. This is in my humble opinion is the best OVA I've had the pleasure of watching, I was completely floored when all was said and done. I'd love to find a similar anime, dramatic or action oriented, towards the realistic side of anime, bloody/gritty and containing as little humor/goofyness as possible. Don't get me wrong I love the classic anime humor, but in this case I'm looking for something along the lines of the RK OVA. I have seen Samurai Champloo, and its one of my favorites, along with Trigun and Cowboy Bebop. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, meanwhile I'll be scrolling through almost 1600 pages for anything that hits the mark. | ||

+ Show Spoiler + I think this episode was pretty good. You learn of the plot development of several characters. Caster is out for Saber's blood, as is Lancer. Lancer's master is actually more than you think, has already deduced that Saber's master is omebody else. Everyone is now probably going to go for Caster, while Archer has gotten whats-his-face to actually start thinking about getting the grail for himself. | ||

Caster's magic was keeping some girl alive, so he could cut her open, take out her organs, and use them like a drum by hitting them like a drum or something. Thats what he was doing when Caster came back. Then Caster got pissed because of the thing with Saber, grabbed the girl's head, and just crushed it. At least people understand that they were doing some pretty fucked up things! | ||

Although I guess it wasn't that far off. I wouldn't call this episode boring especially when Kiritsugu went and blew up an entire building to just to go after Lancer's master. It was pretty amazing, especially when Archibald was all like, "lets see you get past my hallway of xyz defenses". And he just goes and blows the whole fucking thing up. So awesome. | ||

currently watching it atm. and OMG, the pikachu girl is just tooo damn KAWAIIIIIIIIII totally not the kind of voice i expected from Taketatsu Ayana, but its definitely still good <3 Edit: this episode was so fcking hilarious. it definitely took the edge off that i was feeling from work today... gotta love dem subtle not-so-subtle sexual innuendos xD | ||
