Call me crazy but I didn't think either of the Code Geasses were very great (opinion obviously don't crucify me for it) But in regards to what you're asking, madoka magica was short but it was pretty sick. I also found Baccano! to be great; it is a little different from the others as it doesn't have a whole lot of drama, but awesome nonetheless. Then FMA:B was awesome too, but it also doesn't have as much drama as Death Note/Code Geass/Madoka You don't like Code Geass? What a hipster. code geass is ok. season 1 was good but then it got degraded fast. don't have much love with the new clamp character designs too. (the series was popular in yaoi just like 00) I just can't like the newer gundams including 00 and code geass at all, they are too "teenage" for me. Much darker themed anime like rahxephon is way better. Much less "moe" kind of character design. madoka magica is pretty good, I am surprised at how good it was as I wasn't gonna watch it until my gf forced me to. mushishi and casshen sins are also really entertaining. sick brag about having a gf In any case rahxephon isnt exactly 'dark themed'. Fafner is a better example, but still not quite there. :p it's not as good as you think it would be. She is into a very different kind of anime usually and she will always try to get me to watch the anime she is following. And quite a few times I got hooked to it and she would just stop watching it a few weeks later - -
I thought rahxephon was really dark themed, everything is so......f-ed up in a "holy" way, even the main guy was not sure if he was human or not...@@ kind of freaked me out when I was watching it

Those Gundams don't suck because they are too teenage. They suck because they aren't from Tomino.

ZnT is one of those few Kugimiya loli tsundere animes that I haven't watched (I think....)
Actually, I take that back. There's a lot I haven't watched of her. I think the only ones where she's played a major role that I've seen are Toradora and Shana, with Toradora being one where I actually liked her.

I think it needed a lot more explanation, it was too short imo to develop any relationship with the characters

Not something I would recomend.

No, I think they are alright but I didn't get all the hype for them after I finished them They were good, but nothing special imo I don't think you got the joke. I originally thought it was, but sarcasm doesn't translate too well through text -.-

Was excited at first since it seemed like an economics anime, but it ended up being Pokemon with credit cards instead of Poke Balls.

Did any of you guys watch Ergo Proxy? It got 8.16 on MAL and has some pretty good reviews. Im wondering if I should watch it. I really enjoyed Texhnolyze but I was mindfucked for the majority of the series. Ergo Proxy worth the watch?

EP pretty good. Kinda hectic in the beginning cuz you don't know what's going on and slow in the mid exploring wastes, but overall a good series.

Ergo Proxy has ok atmosphere not so much more. Definitely watchable. Texhnolyze is a lot better though. You should watch Boogiepop Phantom.

I go read my bungaku shoujo and pretend the rest of this shit doesn't exist. Incidentally, the tsundere in Golden Time was way better than Taiga. Author could turn out good stuff, but shit like Taiga sells better apparently. Exactly, that's why it's only my personal grievances. People want more Kugimiya Rie so we get ZnT 4. Despite my own grievances I cannot stop myself from watching ZnT 4 and SnS3 for the sake of completion
this exactly this I keep saying it closure trumps everything..
I kinda had trouble killing of ergo proxy myself, the pacing was just a little of frankly I dont really remember much except pino..

It's the OP for the VN.
Edit: Forgot to mention that Itou Kanako is awesome.
