It is part of the Universal Century, and takes place after the original, zeta, zz, cca, and unicorn. However, its far enough into the future from those shows that it is essentially stand alone. Original->Zeta->ZZ->CCA are pretty much 1 continuous story, but the later UC stuff (Unicorn, F91, Victory) can be watched whenever. For reference, CCA ends UC 0093, Unicorn takes place in UC 0096, F91 takes place in UC 0123, and Victory takes place in UC 0153. | ||

Big Bang Age came out before Sengoku Rance, and Sengoku didn't have voice acting. Newer Alicesoft games do have voice acting (see: Daiteikoku), just Rance will never have voice acting. It's a design decision/tradition thing. | ||
